Hey family! So happy to be welcoming a new season, in a new year with a new milestone! I had the opportunity to sit down with Akeem Hunt, the 2021-22 Drum Major at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, AL and the first male and the first black person to serve in the role. In the wake of our first black Vice-President of the United States and the first Black woman being nominated to the Supreme Court, it's amazing how we still find ourselves celebrating firsts in spaces that we have occupied for decades! Enjoy :)
What's up beautiful peeps! We are officially entering into Season 2 of this wonderful podcast and in this episode, I'm discussing the importance of your experiences in college that play apart in your professional development and how they are just as essential as actually getting that degree! When opportunity knocks, ANSWER first, PRAY later. Most importantly, do not feel trapped in your major! You find your purpose in your passion :)
Welcome/Welcome Backkkkk! This episode explores my eight year journey to complete my Bachelors with a little bit more depth. Some trials. a few tribulations but one grand testimony came out of all of it. Enjoy!
Welcome back! I accepting said nomination and winning this upcoming election, she will be the first black, the first female, the first black female and the first HBCU graduate and Divine 9 member to hold such an office. This episode will discuss a brief history of the Black Greek Letter Organizations that makeup the "Divine 9". Enjoy!
