The gang discusses the most recent Playstation "State of Play" and how Rich is cursed to not get a PS5 until later on down the road. Also, Jak is not a furry... He isn't, he swears!
The Boys, for lack of topics, decide to do a lightning round Q&A about video games and touch up on how the titles they said bring back memories from days long passed.
There's a lot in this one, y'all. Not gonna lie, a bit of a rollercoaster, but that's the charm of this podcast. We talk about some amazing feats achieved in gaming recently, the power of being stoned and car accidents we've been in. Enjoy.
These boys are excited for the latest installment to the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil Village, and wholeheartedly agree with the rest of the internet about being crushed by a nine foot vampire woman stepping on them. They also ramble about passed RE games, useless AI companions and disappointing video game releases.
The fellers discuss book to film adaptations and games from their childhoods. Jak lets loose his feelings about one of his favorite anime, Berserk, and why he thinks everyone should watch it. This is a smorgasboard of goodness that shows what this podcast is all about.

The crew talks about AI and the terrors that it could bring to humanity through the concepts of video games and movies and how close we are to achieving such feats.
Rich tells us a bit about Wonder Woman 1984, we talk some anime convention stuff and cosplays we wish we could still do and we go over how we think an actual zombie apocalypse would play out. There's a bit about Cyberpunk 2077 in here too, but... eh.. That didn't do too well.
In this episode, the gang is joined by their second special guest and Jack's new roommate, Tom Ball! We elaborate on how the DCU gets pooped on by the general public if they are even slightly inaccurate while Marvel gets a slap on the wrist, we talk some video games and which celebrities are avid D&D players.
The boys discuss the big brains behind Christopher Nolan movies such as Bird Box and Tenet, as well as the current meme sensation of Wallstreet and Gamestop.
I'm serious. I don't quite know what's going on here. We talk about a lot of random stuff considering how tired and loopy we are from filming all day. So enjoy the random conversation generators that are our brains.
Your boys simulcast as they finally make a return to YouTube after the chaos of the pandemic. Recording for both platforms the latest installment of the Dark Pictures Anthology, Little Hope. Check out our playthrough on YouTube. Channel: Couch Companions.

We've seen some shit in our days, alright? And these are some of the stories that we've experienced involving sexual harassment in the workplace. There's a couple other stories too, like crazy ex's and things of the like. All jokes aside, sexual harassment is a serious issue EVERYWHERE NOT just work. If you or someone you know is experiencing sexual harassment then please contact those that can help and put a stop to it. Also, play Mass Effect and Happy belated N7 Day!!!!
The boys discuss "Ghost of Tsushima" multiplayer and Jack enlightens us with his GIANT brain's insight to the lore of "Among Us". Rich describes his distaste for cheaters in video games.. The gang discusses racism... Yeah. Didn't expect that one did ya? Neither did Jack or Jak, but it happened. Afterwards, we discuss some popular sci-fi games such as "Star Wars Squadrons" and "No Man's Sky". There's even an interesting rescue mission Rich tells us about in "Eve Online". However, we later found out that the rescue mission only took 600 hours (like a month) real-time, so hopefully you read this and see the actual amount of time it took. Still impressive none the less.

BBQ=DEATH to the boys as they attempt to make an honest episode while filled to the brim with meat and cornbread. They can't help but feel like complete ass the whole time. I listened back to this and still have no idea what we tried to discuss.
