Beloved, in this final installment of our "What Torah Can and Cannot Do for Us" series, we examine what Torah cannot do: it cannot save us, justify us, or cancel the certificate of indebtedness that stands against us because of sin. Only Yehoshua HaMashiyach can satisfy that debt and call us back to faithful, obedient covenant living.
Have you ever wondered how a group of complete strangers becomes family? This weekend, we're celebrating where God has brought us from — from early days and impossible prayers to changed lives, deep friendships, and a future bigger than we ever dreamed. Through honest stories of grace, failure, healing, and God's faithfulness, we'll discover that what unites us isn't perfection—it's Jesus. If you've ever been hurt by church, felt like you didn't belong, or wondered if God could still use your story, this message is for you.Come discover how God takes ordinary people, weaves their lives together, and invites all of us into the incredible story He's still writing.
Genesis 22:6-19 - How Great The Father's Love For Us - Part 3 - Sermon Notes
In Part 4 of What Torah Can Do for Us, we explore what Torah does for the redeemed believer. Torah does not save or justify us apart from Yeshua Messiah, yet it reveals Yehovah's character, points us to Messiah, makes us wise unto salvation, grounds us in truth, and strengthens us for covenant faithfulness and spiritual warfare.
Genesis 22:3-5 - How Great The Father's Love For Us - Part 2 - Sermon Notes
How much influence did your siblings really have on the person you became? Most of us spend years examining the impact our parents had on our lives, but what about our sibling dynamics or lack thereof for only children? How much of your identity, your confidence, your relationships, your career choices, and even your marriage were shaped by the siblings who grew up alongside you?In this follow-up conversation on birth order and family systems, Karin and Elliott explore the often-overlooked influence siblings have on one another—from childhood decision-making and identity formation to dating patterns, marriage dynamics, leadership styles, and lifelong relationships.Together they discuss why younger siblings often measure themselves against older siblings, how brothers and sisters unintentionally shape one another's interests and ambitions, and why the same family can produce children who are remarkably different from one another. They also examine the role birth order may play in friendships, marriage compatibility, conflict resolution, loyalty, and the ways we pursue connection. The conversation moves beyond birth order stereotypes and into a deeper exploration of personality, family systems, trauma, attachment, and the relational patterns we carry into adulthood. Why do some people walk away from unhealthy relationships while others struggle to let go? How do our childhood roles continue to influence our marriages decades later? And how much of who we are was shaped by the people who came before us?If you've ever wondered why you respond the way you do in relationships, why certain family dynamics still affect you today, or how your siblings helped shape the person you've become, this episode offers insight, self-reflection, and a deeper appreciation for the family stories that continue to influence us.Dr. Karin & Pastor Elliott AndersonWebsite: http://loveandlifemedia.com/Empowered Dating Playbook: smarturl.it/EmpoweredDatingBookInstagram: @dr.karin | @pastorelliottanderson

Greetings saints of the Most High. In this installment of the Messianic Torah Observer, I offer a needed clarification regarding Israel, the Jewish people, and the broader discussion from this teaching series, "What the Torah Can and Cannot Do for Us." In this episode, I examine what Scripture says about Yah's everlasting covenant with Israel, Paul's teaching that God has not rejected His people, and the reality that we as non-Jewish believers are grafted into the commonwealth of Israel rather than replacing it. I also address the misuse of passages such as "neither Jew nor Greek" and explain why Torah can never be used as a justification for contempt, condemnation, or arrogance toward our Jewish cousins. If you have ever wrestled with the relationship between Torah, covenant, Israel, grace, and the calling of Gentile believers in Messiah, this teaching will help ground that discussion in the plain witness of Scripture. My prayer is that this message leads us all toward covenant humility, truth, prayer, and love rather than pride or hostility. Key themes in this teaching include: Yah's everlasting covenant with Israel God has not rejected His people Grafted into the commonwealth of Israel The meaning of "neither Jew nor Greek" in context The oracles of God entrusted to Israel Why Torah does not sanction contempt

In this gentle conversation with Elizabeth Berget, author of "Love Like a Mother: How the Sacred Work of Motherhood Reveals the Maternal Heart of God," we continue exploring how enlarging our understanding of God's maternal tenderness can transform the way emotionally weary women experience faith, healing, and belonging.Together, we reflect on the sacred work of nurturing, caregiving, carrying, comforting, and remaining present through suffering—and how these deeply human experiences mirror the compassionate heart of God.This conversation invites us to move beyond harsh or striving images of spirituality and rediscover a God who gathers, comforts, nourishes, and stays near to the weary. If you have ever longed to experience God as safe, gentle, emotionally present, and compassionate, this episode offers a healing invitation into a more embodied and tender faith.Because perhaps divine love has always been more nurturing, attentive, and compassionate than we realized.
In Part 3 of the three-part series, When It Was Us, Dr. Janet Steinkamp and her daughter Brianna step into the sacred, complicated territory so many families long to understand: what actually happens when an estranged adult child comes back. Not the Hollywood version. Not the social-media version. The real one.The email that didn't mention their relationship at all. The first face-to-face meeting where ground rules were set, voices were raised, and a single sentence about money decided whether reconciliation would happen.Brianna and Janet walk listeners through the two years Bri was silent, what finally cracked the silence, and the slow, specific, deeply imperfect work of rebuilding a relationship that neither of them thought would exist again.Bri starts by answering the question Janet hears most from estranged parents: " Why didn't you respond to all of our messages in the beginning?” From there, she and Janet trace exactly what worked, the handwritten amends letter, the "dishwasher repair person" email about grandpa, the cookie no one was supposed to be looking for, and what didn't. They talk openly about the role of a partner who functioned as a gatekeeper, the moment Janet realized she wasn't just writing a letter to her daughter, and the boundary about money that Janet and her husband flew to Minneapolis to deliver out loud. This is the episode parents in the silence right now have been waiting for. It is also the episode that adult children, choosing distance and silence, need to hear. For many, reconciliation is possible. It is harder, slower, and stranger than people expect. And as Bri puts it: Sometimes reconnection begins when there is finally nothing left to protect and nothing left to lose.IN THIS EPISODEWhy Bri didn't answer the early-on texts, emails, and videos The handwritten amends letter that took Janet months to write, and the one realization that changed how she wrote itThe partner as gatekeeper: why does it matterThe "dishwasher repair person" email that made it safe to finally respond"Money is a good, simple way to motivate certain people in my life at the time", the line that opens a wider conversation about coercive financial dynamicsWhat Bri did during the two and a half years of silence — therapy, internal work, and the moment she realized she no longer needed her mother' approval to come backThe cookie no one was supposed to be looking for and why Janet doing the work for herself mattered more than doing it for BriCONNECT Connect directly to schedule coaching with Dr. Steinkamp by emailing Janet@jesteinkamp.com OFFICE HOURSPlease join Dr. Steinkamp and Bri during Office Hours for a live interactive web session. And by the time I was ready to send it, I could send it and kind of let go. I really didn't have any thought you were going to respond to it." — Dr. Janet Steinkamp"Once I understood you had a gatekeeper in your life - and a lot of people do - it was much easier for me to understand how to approach that letter and our relationship. I knew I was not just writing to you." — Dr. Janet Steinkamp"I wanted you to change for you. I didn't want you to do it for me. I didn't want the weight of you doing this for me because I don't want to feel like I owe you." — Bri"There's no way we would have gotten to this kind of relationship without completely breaking. In that sense, I'm very thankful for the process." — Bri"I don't have to be the parent anymore. I'm not the etiquette police." — Dr. Janet Steinkamp"Give your child some grace. It's really scary to even consider reconnecting. Take a risk and let your kid have their moment. Put your ego away for a second." — Bri"Just go full send. Get it all out there. Don't hold back. You have nothing left to lose. Rip the bandaid off and see if it works out. And if it does, then it's going to be a stronger relationship than probably any other in your life." — BriHi Listeners. In this teaching, I unpack why Torah serves as the constitution and culture of Yah's people, while also showing what Torah cannot do for us apart from true, trusting faith in Yeshua. We'll examine Judaism's oral tradition, the Church's man-made culture, and the urgent need to return to Yeshua-focused Torah living.

After Blake Lively's team filed to pursue legal action post-settlement, this pod took a turn. It now begins with the continuation of unsealed documents shared in the May 4 drop, but then pivots what Lively's legal team filed and how Justin Baldoni/Wayfarer's legal team just responded. The unsealed May 4 documents include new texts between Blake and Colleen Hoover, Blake and Liz Plank, Blake and Isabella Ferrer, as well as texts from Alex Saks and Ange Gianetti. Each set of texts further illustrates the different grievances and issues each woman had with production and/or Justin Baldoni. In the end, this case provided a valuable sneak peek into the movie and pr industries and served as a cautionary tale, regardless of profession, about how we treat each other and how we see ourselves. On Monday May 4th, the Lively and Baldoni legal teams announced a settlement. After 18 months, and two weeks before jury selection, the highly publicized battle is over - or is it? We review the settlement language and delve into myriad documents from the May 1 drop that I think contributed to the parties finally deciding to drop the issue. New texts and information from the May 1 document drop help to answer key questions and show why a trial would have been a spectacle of epic proportions, one that neither side would have benefitted from. Part 21 will be released later tonight that presents new information from the May 1 drop about Blake's business endeavors, as well as more texts and exchanges that paint a clearer picture of sentiments from the women on set. Send us Fan MailIf the words “standard of care” sound like safety, this conversation asks you to listen closer to what those standards can demand and what they can quietly forbid. We sit down with Scott Shara to continue a frank, faith-forward talk about his book Is The Government Legally Killing Us, and why he believes the modern medical system can operate like a machine that rewards compliance more than healing. Along the way, we confront a question that hits every family sooner or later: who holds the real power in healthcare, the patient, the doctor, or the policies behind the curtain? We trace the ideas Schara connects to a broader culture shift: collectivism, medical education pipelines, and a country dependent on pharmaceuticals. Then we move into the legal and financial structures he says shape outcomes, including the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, Medicare and Medicaid incentives, and his reading of Obamacare Section 1553. We also slow down on “informed consent” and the AMA Code of Medical Ethics, especially how phrases like “recommended treatments” and “medically appropriate options” can limit what patients ever hear, even when the language sounds ethical and compassionate. Finally, we talk solutions in plain terms, not silver bullets: fear, courage, and responsibility. Shara frames Revelation 13 as a way to understand both the physical pressure to comply and the spiritual call to repent of turning our birthright over to the state. If you care about medical freedom, patient rights, Christian ethics in medicine, and how incentives can distort healthcare, this one will challenge you. Send us Fan MailA discounted heart scan for $80 turns into a moment of clarity: medicine isn't only shaped by what's true, but also by what gets rewarded. We sit down with Scott Schara, returning guest and father of Grace, to talk about his book “Is the Government Legally Killing Us?” and the case he makes that modern healthcare incentives can be engineered through law, regulation, and reimbursement so thoroughly that accountability disappears when patients are harmed. We walk through the story behind the book, including why Scott frames the title as a question, what he says he found across 4,000 hours of research, and why Grace's death in the ICU during COVID became both a personal breaking point and a public mission. Along the way, we talk candidly about “programming” in medical training, the fear-driven narratives many of us lived through, and why so many good people stayed quiet even when something felt off. Scott also explains why he added chapters about Grace after the manuscript was “done,” and how emotion and evidence belong together if you want to reach family and friends who are not awake yet.We also dig into the deeper structure: Jacobson v Massachusetts, the Flexner Report, the rise of the medical-industrial complex, and the claim that CMS reimbursement policies and healthcare metrics quietly set the real standard of care. If you care about medical freedom, informed consent, patient autonomy, or how hospital payment systems influence clinical decisions, you'll find plenty here to wrestle with. This update began as a simple review of Judge Liman's decision to throw out Blake Lively's ten claims of sexual harassment, keeping only three about retaliation, but it also splintered into a disturbing side quest. The filing walks through the Judge's logic, providing examples and pulling quotes from previous filings and exhibits. Despite being cut so severely, the new retaliation focused case still presents a he-said/she-said situation, involving perception vs reality, that a jury will have to decide. After remembering that Jed Wallace and Melissa Nathan are part of a different court battle with Rebel Wilson, we learn about horrible accusations against them involving a victim of the Alexander brothers, and how Rebel's lawsuits also involve a man in Jeffrey Epstein's circle. We end with a summary of effusive public statements from Blake Lively and her agency, WME, about the Judge's actions, as well as her new motion to compel Justin's team to confirm who plans to testify. All opinions are personal and not representative of any outside company, person, or agenda.
