The Captain Comics (Zach) and The Kaiju Commander (Tanner) talk about what nerdy content they've been consuming this week.
well uhh, that was a movie. - yea that's all we talk about, we find a few news headlines lying around then we talk very kindly about Venom: Let there be Carnage. we definitely don't Scream, or Shriek, or Lash(er) out in anger, this movie did not put us in Agony, or made us Riot. although the movie may be caught in out Scorn and may create Mania, it may Raze your love for Venom and put your to Sleep(er). the Carnage we evoke on this movie is a bit Toxin, and may leave your want to see this movie Knull and Void Knight. - - - - yes that was 13 symbiote names i managed to cram into this description, great fun it was.
Upgrades People Upgrades, We're back after a small impromptu break, with all of the news we missed and no main event segment because that's how much news there is. also, techie swaps places with the commander to review Rick and Morty season 5 while are resident Captain breaks down issues 3 and 4 of Radiant Black. Good to be back!
pretend this isn't over a week late and out of order. after we take on news that is now almost a month old, Tanner tells us of basketball documentaries while Zach begins his long awaited Radiant Black discussion. then the rough draft return as we go 20 rounds drafting items from anywhere outside the realms of DC and Marvel honestly its a miracle this is under 2 hours.
Wheres Episode 13!? ...dont worry im working on it, its long, but until then... Everyone's favorite filthy casual Garen is back as we talk about Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. not to be outdone, Tanner and Zach also watched AEW All Out and get to speak at lengths about some title wins and big debuts. out 3rd item draft will be out soon I promise
it was inevitable! Please listen to last episode if you haven't, and if you have... sorry we did less DC it was a time thing, not a lack of love thing........ anyway. Zach goes Wrestling crazy and talked about his weekend filled with top rope dives and pinfalls. Tanner takes a look at some alien movies from his childhood. remember "where we talk about anything else" the Rough Draft is back and the boys tackle 10 rounds worth of Marvel item drafts, its a fun time.
OH BOY! yes, in the recent leak Zach has dragged Tanner and Bobby into the studio to report on this trailer leak.
We Got a new segment format to try out, the Rough Draft makes its first appearance as the trio drafts dc items into their armys, also Transformers, Moon Knight, and news news new!
we know how to do two things talk about nerd news and talk about movies, so lets do them both! The Suicide Squad is out and we went to see it, we pulled a casual into the studio to water down our geekiness, and its finally time for Tanner to raise the Kaiju from the depths.
Wow, this episode is long. we dig in today as we create a new fighting game that stretches all corners of the multiverse, the marvel multiverse at lease. plus, news on WWE releases, a Captain Marvel story, and so much more.
yes that time stamp is correct! a shorter episode to give our editor (hi) some time to catch up, and to give us a chance to get back into the swing of things after a small break. On this episode we talk about the rest of Loki and the incoming Marvel Studios Disney Plus series.
Thank you for showing us a man can fly. Yes this is still a full episode, Zach talks about superheroes doing an escape room, Tanner rants about Godzilla, and Zach pitches his Teen Titans Comic.
Happy 4th America Listeners, we celebrate the only way we know how, by talking about a TV Show based on an Americanized take on a Norse god. Zach and Tanner are burdened with glorious purpose as they invite Dane from the Popstriker Podcast to come on and talk about all the weeks Geek News and the first 3 Episodes of Marvel Studio's "Loki" This is a good one folks!
Up on time! Hell Yea! Today we have Plastic Power, Alien Invasions, and Cosmic Stupid. Zach tells all why he loves the character Kamala Kahn and breaks down her first story. Tanner geeks out over a crappy alien invasion movie and has some while doing it. and Tanner is up to pitch his comic story line and its all Cosmic all the time.
The Kaiju and Comics Authority is back and today they speak on the E3 Expo and the things from it that they are excited and concerned about. Zach continues his discussion on Donny Cates' Thor Run Tanner talks about a new YouTube obsession We're here to pitch comics and keep everything short and sweet so it fits into one episode, and we already failed the second. We pitch comics in the main but take so long that we only have time for Techies pitch on this episode, but its a good one, we promise.
We come from the distant past (2 weeks ago) and with no news we decided to bring a slightly shorter podcast with just as much fun! Zach swings Spider-Man: Life Story to a close, Tanner steals reviewing Army of the Dead from a friend, and to main event the Commander and Captain fuse the worlds of DC and Marvel again to create a crossover version of Ultimate Alliance!
Tanner and Zach are here in a quicky of nerdy news to brief the geeks on what happened over the past week! find out about WWE Releases and the new Marvel books that are coming in November! as well as some MCU movie news and some general thoughts from the Kaiju Commander and Captain Comics.
Behind the scenes, the podcast gods tried to kill Zach, but he defeated them and eventually got the podcast out late. We pick up and put down issues 3 and 4 of Spider-Man: Life Story We watch Jupiter's Legacy and for the first time our resident story tellers take a crack at fixing two MCU movies. Zach trys to fix the mistakes of Captain Marvel, and Tanner is filled with rage as he attempts to make a Hulk movie that would keep us from turning green!
YES ITS HERE! Episode 1 has arrived, and we are ready willing and able. The Captain brings Spider-man: Life Story to the table while his Commanding counterpart bring Castlevania. Then the Techie joins them to ask each other questions about life and give the audience a chance to get to know them. Its an extra length character building episode, and kicks off our first season with a great time.
sadly none of us are too happy with this episode..... with no video version and editing issues some parts of this episode may seem clunky and uneven, BUT everything we talk about in this episode is fantastic! from Marvel's Heroes Reborn and Ultramega to The Boys and Superman & Lois. With a Giant Sized main event as even Techie gets in on the action and we pitch new movies and monster to join Godzilla and Kong in Legendry's Monsterverse.
Episode 0!? That's right! its not fully here, but like with every other comic we're doing a 0 to get over the concept with half the effort! but even without the music and fancy transitions we still have a hell of an episode for you! We read about Thor and Hulk and watch Invincible. As a finishing move we theorize what a Marvel vs DC fighting game would be like. Welcome to the Authority! https://t.co/tsJKZxgsRH?amp=1
