Power of X-Men: The Greatest Comic Book Podcast in All of the Multiverse!
Planet X-Men and Power of X-Men breakdown every plot point and reference in this episode!
The One Piece fandom is in absolute chaos right now, and we are here for all of it.First up, Scopper Gaban has finally arrived in the anime. After 25 years of waiting, the Roger Pirates' left-hand man steps into the main story. We're breaking down what his appearance means, his brief clash with Luffy, and that flashback that reminds us just how wild the Roger era really was. Then, Luffy and Zoro freed Loki. The Accursed Prince's chains are off. Hajrudin warned them not to do it. Luffy did it anyway. Now Loki is standing with Ragnir in hand while the Holy Knights move in the shadows. We're talking about what this means for Elbaf and why Luffy's decision could change everything. And finally, the hot take that's going to get us ratio'd: Shamrock Figarland is a more compelling character than Shanks. Same face. None of the warmth. Commander of the Holy Knights. Son of Garling. Shanks without the moral compass. We're breaking down why we think Shamrock is the dark twin Shanks never could be, and why that makes him way more interesting. Plus, we dive into the Norse mythology connections—Sköll and Hati—and what that could mean for the twins' dynamic. No recaps. Just reactions, theories, and the takes that are going to get people talking.Come fight us in the comments. We know you want to.Follow The Anime Alchemists for weekly deep dives.---#OnePiece #ElbafArc #ScopperGaban #Loki #Shamrock #Shanks #Figarland #HolyKnights #OnePieceTheories #AnimePodcast #AnimeAlchemists
Sometimes the toughest conversations aren't about movies or music—they're about friendships, money, and knowing when enough is enough. In this episode of Views From The 7, the crew dives into the difficult realities of long-term friendships, lending money, and recognizing when someone needs to be taken off your list for good. From personal experiences to relationship expectations, we unpack dating with intention, transparency, “girlfriend treatment,” and why marriage is more than just romance—it's also a business decision. Then we shift into entertainment as we break down the biggest announcements coming out of San Diego Comic-Con. With Marvel leaning heavily into nostalgia, we debate whether the return of familiar faces is enough to get the MCU back on track. We also discuss what's next for the franchise with Avengers: Doomsday, Secret Wars, and Black Panther 3, while taking a look at DC's upcoming slate, including Lanterns and Clayface, and whether DC can finally close the gap with Marvel. And because it's Views From The 7, we wrap things up with some lighter conversations—including the fast-food hacks we somehow never knew existed (yes…the soda lid buttons). ⏱️ Timestamps 1:00 – The “Friendship Limit” & Social Media Drama Ivan shares a personal story about a longtime friendship that unraveled over money. The crew debates where to draw the line between helping friends and being taken advantage of, and whether social media should ever be used to air out personal disputes. 45:15 – The “Girlfriend Treatment” Debate What does it really mean to date with intention? The conversation gets heated as the crew discusses “girlfriend treatment,” mixed signals, and why changing relationship patterns can create unexpected tension. 1:03:25 – Marriage as a Business Decision Is marriage purely about love? The crew discusses divorce laws, protecting your assets, prenups, and why many people see marriage as both a romantic and financial partnership. 1:09:30 – Marvel's Nostalgia Play Following the latest Comic-Con announcements, the crew debates Robert Downey Jr.‘s return, Marvel's future with Avengers: Doomsday, Secret Wars, and Black Panther 3, plus whether DC's Lanterns and Clayface can finally shift the superhero landscape. 1:48:00 – Fast Food “Revelations” The episode ends on a hilarious note as the crew realizes they've been missing some of the internet's most “obvious” life hacks—from soda lid buttons to the real purpose of can tabs.

Sebastian Shaw is DEAD! Who did it? Let's review X-Men Hellfire Mystery!
Euer Ingmar

Jim Hill and Dan Graney examine the Avengers: Doomsday poster everyone may have looked at wrong, including a nearly hidden Loki positioned at the center of the multiverse and a newly powered-up Thor. They also discuss Marvel Comics leaving New York for Burbank, Kevin Feige's apparent Spider-Man: Brand New Day spoiler, and the increasingly wild X-Men casting rumors ahead of San Diego Comic-Con. Plus, Dan challenges the online narrative surrounding Supergirl and explains why theatrical box office may no longer tell the whole story. HIGHLIGHTS • Marvel Comics prepares to leave New York City after nearly 90 years and relocate its publishing operation to Burbank. • Stephen Wacker takes over as Marvel editor-in-chief while C.B. Cebulski shifts his focus to manga and Asian publishing projects. • Loki may be hiding in plain sight at the exact center of the Avengers: Doomsday ensemble poster. • Thor's orange lightning could signal the arrival of the Odinforce and the MCU's most powerful version of the character yet. • Andy Park's final major Marvel Studios artwork carries an unexpectedly poignant Endgame connection. • Kevin Feige may have revealed Yelena Belova's surprise appearance in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. • X-Men casting rumors intensify ahead of Marvel Studios' Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con. • Vision Quest gets an October release date, Élodie Yung returns as Elektra, and Nova reportedly evolves from a series into a feature film. • Supergirl, The Mandalorian and Grogu, and Masters of the Universe raise bigger questions about online negativity, streaming strategy, and how studios now measure success. Send us Fan MailWelcome back to DMR!As we break down the first official trailer for The Avengers: Doomsday! The trailer explodes with multiversal energy, pulling listeners into a collision of three iconic worlds—Avengers, X‑Men, and the Fantastic Four. Doctor Doom stands at the center of the chaos, radiating a level of power that instantly reframes the stakes. His confrontation with Thor, stopping Stormbreaker mid‑strike, signals that this isn't just another villain rising—it's a seismic shift in the MCU's hierarchy. The trailer leans heavily into tension, showcasing collapsing realities, returning legends, and the emotional weight of heroes facing a threat that eclipses anything they've known. What makes the trailer truly electrifying is its sense of scale and inevitability. The incursions between universes feel catastrophic, pushing characters into alliances and conflicts that fans have dreamed about for years. Seeing Steve Rogers, Loki, Professor X, and Magneto woven into the same narrative hints at a story built on legacy, consequence, and impossible choices. As Doom warns of an “unthinkable decision,” the trailer positions Doomsday as a defining chapter—one that promises not just spectacle, but a reckoning across the multiverse.Dont forget your 30 Day Free Audible Trial - Link in the show!Enjoy DMRSupport the showThe audio/video clips used in this podcast, including excerpts from movie/series/documentary trailers, are used under the principles of fair use and fair dealing for the purpose of criticism, commentary, and review. Frank and Tim pour a drink and break down every reveal, theory, and Easter egg buried in the trailer for Avengers: Doomsday. Cheers! We get into: The incursion, and why this is basically the first act of the movie (heroes miscommunicate, then find a bigger threat) The X-Men leading the cold open: Xavier's school on its last legs and what that window shot means Doctor Doom in live action for the "fifth" time, and why this one finally feels like it counts The RDJ voice debate: is that Downey under the mask, and does it matter if Doom just happens to have Tony's face? Crossover money shots Marvel wants you to care about (Shang-Chi vs. Gambit) and the ones that actually land Thor vs. Doom, and the magic rune on Doom's gauntlet that might belong to Wanda The Hydra Cap theory: how is a long-haired, bearded Steve worthy of Mjolnir? Is that Loki shot really pulled from the show? And is Doom collecting kids? The Kang problem nobody at Marvel wants to say out loud Where's Spider-Man, and why he's probably being saved for Secret Wars and Battleworld Tickets already selling out and a teaser that cleared 500 million views in a week What we're drinking: Frank's on a Sam Adams Blueberry Lager (Red, White & Blueberry). Tim is drinking WhistlePig PiggyBack rye out of a porcelain Doctor Doom head he's had since childhood, whose brains have apparently been replaced by whiskey. The Avengers: Doomsday trailer is finally here, and after watching it more times than I'd like to admit, I have a theory that keeps growing... What if Doctor Doom isn't actually the main villain? In this episode of Marvel Maniac: An MCU Aftershow, we're breaking down the trailer beat by beat—from Doom's mysterious warning about "an unthinkable decision" to Thor's ominous narration, the return of the X-Men, Steve Rogers, Loki, and the possibility that the real enemy isn't Doctor Doom at all... but the incursions themselves. Along the way, I explore theories surrounding Doom's true motives, whether Steve Rogers could be hiding a shocking secret, what role the Fantastic Four may play in the coming conflict, and why Marvel may be using this trailer to cleverly misdirect all of us. Whether these predictions come true or not, one thing is certain: this trailer gave us a lot to think about. Avengers... disassemble.

Euer Ingmar

We discuss the confirmed characters for Avengers: Doomsday that we have not discussed yet this season. Is Loki going to have sage wisdom or continue being his prankster self? What in the heck has Shang-Chi been up to? Is this Gambit going to be with the other X-Men? And how stressed out is poor Sam Wilson after all this Captain America and Avengers nonsense?
Marvel has been teasing a Nova project for nearly a decade, and it is finally moving. In this Geek Freaks Headlines update, Frank breaks down the Deadline report that Michael Waldron, the writer behind Loki season one, is developing a Nova feature film and possibly directing it. Frank gives a quick explainer on who Nova is, from Richard Rider's Green Lantern-style origin as a regular kid from Long Island to the younger Sam Alexander legacy version. He also lays out why Nova is the perfect key to restarting the cosmic side of the MCU now that Guardians of the Galaxy has wrapped, how Thanos destroying Xandar off screen in Infinity War already set up the origin story, and why the Annihilation storyline could anchor a future Marvel phase. It seems that no matter where one looks in the gaming industry, there's bad news on the horizon. Such is certainly the case with Sony, as the Japanese company announced two pieces of bad news concurrent to one another: That beginning in 2028, PlayStation hardware will no longer receive disc-based releases, and that by next summer, you will no longer be able to buy digital PS3 and Vita games. All things considered, the latter is a more understandable decision (after all, Sony tried to do this back in 2021 before pulling back), but the former situation has set the PlayStation fanbase alight in a way we've not seen since perhaps 2011, if not 2006, both extremely ominous years in the brand's history. We discuss both topics in great detail, incorporate a ton of your inquiries, and try to make sense of what's happening from every conceivable angle. There's other news this week, too, including Sony's stance on hardware subsidies, PlayStation's continuing commitment to the games-as-a-service sector, new roster additions for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, and more. Then: Listener inquiries! Is Exodus' scrapping of its in-game character creator a sign of things to come? Why are some publishers and developers so secretive with sales figures? What potential ideas could emulate the interplay between EVE Online and Dust-514? Did Dustin answer the Dustin-signal that Colin sent into the atmospheric ether? A talking raccoon and a sentient tree?! When Marvel's 'Guardians of the Galaxy' hit theatres in 2014, it faced doubts from all angles, from Kree and Xandarians alike. However, James Gunn's injection of humour, colour and the right amount of irreverence quickly made the film an instant fan-favourite. 12 years later, it's made it to Number 7 on our MCU 12 list. Some are saying that's really the most important part of its legacy. It's Marvel Monday and the Avengers face their ultimate challenge! ABOUT AVENGERS: ENDGAME After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers assemble once more in order to reverse Thanos' actions and restore balance to the universe. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR AVENGERS: ENDGAME 2019 | Theatrical Release CAST & CREW OF AVENGERS: ENDGAME Directors: Anthony Russo, Joe Russo Writers: Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Stan Lee Cast: Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk Chris Hemsworth as Thor Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye Don Cheadle as James Rhodes/War Machine Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa/Black Panther Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man Karen Gillan as Nebula Zoe Saldaña as Gamora Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS The movie kicks off by showing us what Hawkeye was doing during Infinity War: teaching his daughter to shoot bow and arrows. Suddenly, his wife and kids turn to dust and he has no idea why. 23 days later, Tony Stark & Nebula are stuck in space together. She's helping him heal. They're about to run out of oxygen when Captain Marvel shows up to save them. She brings them back to Earth where they're reunited with Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Rhodey & Rocket. The happy reunion doesn't last long. Tony does one of his famous freak outs, saying things he will most certainly regret. Captain Marvel gets the rundown & decides she's going to go kill Thanos herself. Everyone is like this witch shows up out of nowhere and now wants to be the hero, but Thor likes her and says we should go. So they track Thanos down. He's like oh hi. I destroyed the stones. My bad. So Thor cuts his head off. Fast forward 5 years and Scott randomly pops out of the quantum realm machine, very confused. So he goes to talk to the Avengers about his experience. He tells Cap & Natasha about how for him, the 5 years was only 5 minutes. Maybe there's some way to use the quantum realm to go back in time and stop Thanos. Only one guy is smart enough to help - Tony. But now Tony has a daughter & he's not interested in helping. But Tony can't forget about it. He pokes around and figures out how it could work. Scott, Cap, and Natasha turn to the next smartest guy they know - Bruce. He agrees to help and they do some experiments but nothing overly helpful. Tony shows up with a time traveling device and says it's time to get the band back together. They do some testing and find out they can go to the past and bring something back without changing anything. So they have a plan - team up and go get the stones and bring them to the present which would prevent Thanos from being able to do his thing. Banner, Lang, Rogers, and Stark travel back to New York during Loki's 2012 invasion. At the Sanctum Sanctorum, Banner persuades the Ancient One to hand over the Time Stone by promising that all of the Infinity Stones will eventually be returned to their rightful places in time. Plus, Doctor Strange gave it up willingly in his time which is good enough for the Ancient One. Meanwhile, at Stark Tower, Rogers successfully recovers the Mind Stone from Hydra agents posing as S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives. However, Stark and Lang's plan to steal the Space Stone goes wrong, allowing Loki to escape with it. To recover from the setback, Rogers and Stark travel further back to 1970, where Stark obtains an earlier version of the Space Stone and unexpectedly gets the chance to speak with his father. Rogers steals additional Pym Particles needed for their return trip and catches a glimpse of his lost love, Peggy Carter. Meanwhile, Thor and Rocket journey to Asgard in 2013. Rocket extracts the Reality Stone from Jane Foster, while Thor reunites with his mother, Frigga, who snaps him out of his funk and gets his swag and his hammer back. In 2014, Nebula and Rhodey travel to Morag and secure the Power Stone before Peter Quill can retrieve it. Hawkeye and Black Widow head to Vormir, where Red Skull explains that the Soul Stone can only be obtained through the sacrifice of someone you love. Romanoff gives her life so Barton can claim the Stone. As Rhodes and Nebula prepare to return to the present, Nebula's cybernetic implants connect with those of her past self. This allows the 2014 version of Thanos to learn about his future defeat and the Avengers' plan to reverse it. Thanos captures Nebula and sends her 2014 counterpart into the future to infiltrate the Avengers and pave the way for his arrival. So they all return back in the present with the stones, sans Natasha. They put the stones on an iron glove and Bruce agrees that he's probably the best dude for the job. He snaps and immediately collapses. Hawkeye immediately gets a phone call from his wife. It worked!!! But the happiness doesn't last long because 2014 Gamora used the Time Machine to get 2014 Thanos to show up and shoot the Avengers compound up big time. He's like thanks for getting all of the stones together for me. It's giant fight time, folks. And it's not looking great for the Avengers despite the fact that Thor's hammer saw Cap as worthy enough to use it. But just when it's looking bleak, Doctor Strange returns by opening portals for the rest of the Avengers to show up and join the battle. Avengers assemble and IT'S AWESOME! It's a tough battle and Scott is busy getting his van Time Machine up and running since Thanos destroyed the other one so that they can return the stones. Captain Marvel shows up last minute and it's looking like they might do it but Thanos makes the van explode. Thanos gets the gauntlet back but Captain Marvel stops him from snapping his fingers. He's able to free himself. It's looking like a lost cause but Tony looks over at Strange who holds up 1 finger, showing Tony that this is the 1 in 14 million chances they win. Tony is able to get the stones and snap his fingers and make Thanos and his baddies disappear. But unfortunately the blast was too much for Tony and he dies. At Tony's funeral, all the Avengers show up to show their respects. They create a new Time Machine and Captain America goes to return all of the stones to their proper time. But he doesn't return to present day. Well, he does but he's old. He decided to stay in 1970 and grow old with Peggy Carter. Steve gives Sam his shield. We have a new Captain America now. The Multiverse Saga has been one of the most divisive eras in MCU history. But before we rush into Avengers: Doomsday, I wanted to take a step back and ask a simple question: Were we too hard on it? In this unfiltered Marvel Maniac rant, I talk about the projects I loved, the mistakes Marvel made, why the lack of an Avengers movie may have hurt the entire saga, and why I still believe there's far more to appreciate in this era than people give it credit for. From WandaVision and Loki to Shang-Chi, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Thunderbolts, Daredevil: Born Again, and beyond, this isn't a ranking or a review. It's a passionate reflection from someone who's been covering the Multiverse Saga since day one. Agree? Disagree? I'd love to hear from you. Email: MarvelManiacPod@gmail.com Avengers Disassemble.

ABOUT AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR The Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR April 27, 2018 | Theatrical Release CAST & CREW OF AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Directors: Anthony Russo, Joe Russo Writers: Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Stan Lee Cast: Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man Chris Hemsworth as Thor Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow Don Cheadle as James Rhodes/War Machine Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa/Black Panther Zoe Saldaña as Gamora Karen Gillan as Nebula Tom Hiddleston as Loki Paul Bettany as Vision Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Falcon Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS So, they get right to it. Bad boy Thanos gets an infinity stone, the Power Stone. His play is to get all six Infinity Stones and wipe out half of all life in the universe. His first stop is the ship carrying the surviving people of Asgard. Thanos easily overwhelms the remaining Asgardians, beats up Hulk, and steals the Space Stone from Loki's Tesseract. He then kills Loki. Thanos then destroys the ship and continues his hunt. Edris Elba helps make sure that Hulk returns to earth, where he crashes through the New York Sanctum. Back as Bruce, He warns Doctor Stephen Strange and Wong that Thanos is coming. Tony Stark joins the conversation. Before he can call Steve Rogers to get the band back together, they attack the city to claim the Time Stone from Strange. Spider-Man is pulled into the chaos, and after they captures Strange aboard his spaceship, Stark and Peter Parker secretly hitch a ride into space to rescue him while Wong remains behind to defend the Sanctum. Meanwhile, the Guardians of the Galaxy answer a distress signal and save Thor floating in space. They agree they need to work together to stop Thanos. But they're too late. Thanos already possesses the Reality Stone and uses its power to manipulate everything around them. He captures Gamora after learning she knows the location of the Soul Stone. Desperate to save her adopted sister Nebula from torture, Gamora tells him where the stone is . When they get there, the keeper of the Soul Stone, one Red Skull, reveals the price required to obtain it: the sacrifice of someone truly loved. In one of the film's most tragic moments, Thanos throws Gamora to her death, earning the Soul Stone. Vision and Wanda are ambushed in Scotland by Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive, who attempt to rip the Mind Stone from Vision's forehead. Captain America, Black Widow, and Falcon arrive just in time to save them, bringing the wounded Vision back to the Avengers Compound. Vision urges Wanda to destroy the Mind Stone and kill him if necessary to stop Thanos, but she cannot bring herself to do it. Instead, the team heads to Wakanda, believing Shuri may be able to safely remove the stone without sacrificing Vision's life. Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange end up on Titan and come face to face with Star-Lord, Drax, and Mantis and they realize they're in the same team. Using the Time Stone, Strange studies millions of possible futures and discovers only one path where they succeed. Together they execute an elaborate plan to restrain Thanos and remove the Infinity Gauntlet. For a moment, it almost works—until Nebula reveals that Gamora is dead. Overcome with grief and rage, Star-Lord attacks Thanos, ruining the team's hold on him. Thanos breaks free, defeats everyone, and nearly kills Iron Man. To save Tony's life, Doctor Strange willingly surrenders the Time Stone, despite knowing how dangerous it is. In Wakanda, the Avengers prepare for an all-out invasion from Thanos's army. Bruce Banner, unable to transform into Hulk, enters battle wearing the Hulkbuster armor. The tide finally turns when Thor arrives in spectacular fashion alongside Rocket and Groot, tearing through Thanos's army with his fresh new hammer/ax combo, Stormbreaker. Despite their efforts, Thanos himself eventually reaches Vision. Wanda heartbreakingly destroys the Mind Stone—and Vision with it—just before Thanos can claim it. But using the Time Stone, Thanos reverses time, restores Vision briefly to life, and violently tears the stone from his forehead, killing him again. With all six Infinity Stones finally united, the Infinity Gauntlet is complete. Thor attacks and buries Stormbreaker deep into Thanos's chest, but Thanos coldly tells him he “should have gone for the head.” He snaps his fingers and vanishes. Across the universe, half of all life immediately turns to dust. Bucky Barnes, Black Panther, Groot, Scarlet Witch, Falcon, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Drax, and Mantis all fade away. On Earth, Nick Fury manages to send a desperate signal from a mysterious pager moments before he too disappears. The survivors are left shattered and defeated. Tony Stark and Nebula are stranded on Titan. The remaining Avengers stand in stunned silence in Wakanda. And somewhere far away, Thanos sits alone on a quiet planet, watching the sunrise over a universe he believes he has finally “saved.” Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show?
