If you ever wondered what happens when a confident dad challenges his teenage son to a fight… well, this episode answers that question in the most humiliating way possible.Welcome back to The Rizzuto Show, the daily comedy show where the stories are real, the insults are affectionate, and someone usually regrets opening their mouth. This time, that someone is Rizz. After inviting his teenage son into the studio, things quickly escalate from harmless trash talk to an actual physical showdown. What starts as a playful scuffle becomes a full-blown generational moment when the kid calmly demonstrates a few jiu-jitsu moves and proceeds to dismantle his father in front of the entire show. Listeners witness the exact moment when dad strength officially expires and teenage athleticism takes over.Naturally, the crew handles the situation with the maturity you'd expect… which means endless roasting. But the emotional damage doesn't stop there. The show also celebrates a major milestone: Rizz's 20-year wedding anniversary. What begins as a heartfelt moment quickly turns into a hilarious breakdown of what it actually takes to survive two decades married to a loud, stubborn morning radio host. Rafe even reaches out to Rizz's wife for a real message about their marriage, which includes praise, honesty, and a reminder that the proposal might have been… underwhelming.Along the way, the gang also dives into classic Rizz Show randomness:Why Friday the 13th tattoo specials existThe return of a beloved St. Louis dinerAnother legendary E-Memoriam roast segmentA tribute to musician Country Joe McDonaldAnd plenty of the sarcastic commentary listeners expect from a daily comedy show that thrives on ridiculous real-life storiesIf you're here for sarcastic humor, weird news, pop culture commentary, and the kind of radio moments that only happen when nobody's trying too hard to look cool, this episode delivers. And if you're a dad… consider this a warning. The day may come when your kid challenges you to a fight. And you might lose. Thanks for listening to The Rizzuto Show, the daily comedy show where the laughs are loud, the stories are ridiculous, and the embarrassment is usually happening to Rizz.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Crypto OG Erik Voorhees joins The Chopping Block crew to dissect the future of agentic payments, the eternal war for privacy, memecoin-fueled AI drama on Moltbook, and why your next DeFi user might just be your OpenClaw agent—plus, a candid look at crypto's core and how AI turns software engineering existential. Welcome to The Chopping Block — where crypto insiders Haseeb Qureshi, Tom Schmidt, Tarun Chitra, and Robert Leshner chop it up about the latest in crypto. This week, we're joined by none other than Erik Voorhees, legendary crypto pioneer and founder of Venice, for a no-holds-barred discussion on the wild convergence of AI, crypto, and the meme coin casino. Erik unpacks his journey from anti-surveillance crusader to AI entrepreneur, why Venice is all-in on privacy and free speech for LLMs, and how “provable privacy” is a Sisyphean technical challenge. The crew breaks down OpenClaw's agent drama, memecoin carpet-bombing of Moltbook, and Meta muscling in on AI social networks. We debate agentic payments (will your first paying customer soon be a bot?), the true game theory behind state surveillance, and why crypto's greatest killer use case might actually be building tools for robots instead of humans. Plus: existential crises for software engineers, why “AI alignment” is a philosophical dead end, and the childlike glee (or open psychosis) of trading OpenClaw war stories at AI meetups. In narcissistic family systems, loyalty is redefined. It means: don't disrupt the narrative. So when you speak up, name harm, or refuse to play along, the system reacts. When truth threatens the structure, the truth-teller becomes the problem. If you've ever been labeled dramatic, disloyal, ungrateful, or divisive for simply telling the truth, this is why.You disrupted a system that depended on your compliance. In this episode of Off The Clock, Shawn Gervais and Marshall Hill get real about what happens when business conditions tighten and uncertainty creeps into the market. From economic turbulence to changing customer spending habits, the guys break down how smart shop owners stay resilient and keep revenue flowing when others start to panic.A major theme of the conversation is something many business owners overlook: the power of “boring” services. While high-ticket packages and specialty work get the spotlight, it's often the reliable volume services—maintenance details, quick upgrades, and repeatable offerings—that create the financial safety net that keeps shops stable during slower periods. The episode also dives into the psychology of sales and customer spending patterns. Shawn and Marshall share practical strategies for identifying what customers truly value, how to naturally upsell without sounding pushy, and why understanding client behavior is one of the most powerful tools a business owner can have. They also explore how technology is reshaping customer engagement, including how tools like Luna AI inside OrbisX are opening new doors for profiling customers, identifying opportunities, and helping shops make smarter decisions based on real data.Whether you're navigating uncertain markets or simply looking to strengthen your business foundation, this episode is a reminder that resilience comes from smart strategy, steady execution, and knowing exactly where your revenue really comes from.

Marriage is hard. That may not sound spiritual, but it's certainly biblical. From the moment sin entered the garden, marriage has been both a battlefield and a blessing. And if you've ever tried to love someone as much as you love yourself, you know the cost. That's why this book matters. In Marriage or Mayhem?, I offer more than principles—I offer a framework, a theology, and a map. With years of experience counseling couples in crisis and equipping churches to disciple well, I learned a few things about getting beneath the surface. I name the real problems—idolatry, self-centeredness, functional theology—and bring the only real solution: Christ at the center. Deep within Navajo culture lives a creature that was once human — a witch who murdered their own family to gain the power to shapeshift, possess the living, and control the dead.*No AI Voices Are Used In The Narration Of This Podcast*IN THIS EPISODE: The Navajo believe there are places where the powers of both good and evil are present and that those powers can be harnessed for either. And the masters of these powers are the skinwalkers. (Skinwalking Witches) *** If you hear the words “murder” and “London” you immediately think of Jack the Ripper – but he is only one of many brutal murderers who prowled the foggy city looking for victims. We'll look at some of the most gruesome in London's history. (Murderous London) *** Since it was built in 1981, the Sunshine Skyway Bridge connecting St. Petersburg to Tampa, Florida has been a harbinger of tragedy. The four-mile-long bridge rises like a mastodon 430 feet into the bright sunlight. On or around the bridge, there have been hundreds of suicides, as well as deadly shipwrecks. And in 2016, there was the heinous murder of a child let down by the very system designed to protect her. (The Bridge to Tragedy) *** You've probably seen a street artist in person or on video appearing to defy gravity – floating as in mid-air, hoping you'll give them some of your pocket change. And of course you've seen magicians levitate the beautiful assistant, or levitate themselves. But then there are those who say they can do it for real – no trickery involved. Some are laughable, but others make you wonder. And debate the big question: is absurd sincerity better than full-blown meme chaos? From Jon Voight going completely off the rails to Samuel L. Jackson holding the cabin together at 30,000 feet, we compare jungle vs. airplane, singular monster vs. swarm, practical effects vs. CGI, and which film truly understands what makes snakes scary.Plus: creature rankings, worst possible deaths, survival odds, and our final verdict on which movie wins the double feature.Listen wherever you get your podcasts, and follow us on Letterboxd to see what we're watching next.

This week, Scott was joined by Lawfare Managing Editor Tyler McBrien, Lawfare Senior Editor Molly Roberts, and University of Virginia Professor of Law Paul Stephan to talk through the week's big news in national security, including:“Textual Healing.” On Friday, a 6-3 Supreme Court majority brought an end to at least the current iteration of President Trump's controversial tariff policies, ruling that language in the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (or IEEPA) authorizing the “regulation of…importation” doesn't include the authority to impose tariffs. That said, President Trump himself has already indicated that he intends to reinstate many of the tariffs he had installed using IEEPA under other statutory authorities. How big a setback is this for the Trump administration's trade policies? And what might it mean for other aspects of its policy agenda?“Mayhem in Mexico.” Over the weekend, an elite unit of the Mexican army killed one of the country's most powerful drug kingpins, Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, also known as “El Mencho.” His syndicate, the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, immediately retaliated, through attacks on Mexican security forces, roadblocks throughout the country, and other measures intended to terrorize the public, particularly in areas frequented by American and Western tourists. The decision to move against El Mencho followed an intense pressure campaign by the Trump administration, which has pushed Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum to take a hard stand against the cartels. Should this be seen as a win for the Trump administration? Or Sheinbaum? And what could the long-term implications be for the U.S.-Mexico relationship?“Clap if You Believe.” On Tuesday, President Trump delivered his annual State of the Union address, the longest of its kind. Many had braced for a contentious speech, expecting Trump to ridicule the justices seated in front of him and potentially even announce strikes on Iran. But Trump appeared to pull his punches on both of those fronts—he instead saved his harshest words for congressional Democrats and focused on laying out a rose-colored picture of the state of the country. How effective was Trump's speech? And what does it tell us about the current state of his second presidency? In object lessons, Tyler just has this strange sense that you will enjoy the Otherworld podcast. Molly (and her dog) find comfort in the soft, squishy claws of Cthulhu. Scott eased his travel woes with a twist on the Vieux Carre at Birch & Bloom in Charlottesville. And Paul mixed his object lesson with three parts: Peter Suderman's Cocktails if you're into all things shaken and stirred; Mark Galeotti's podcast, In Moscow's Shadow, if you're into all things Russia-related; and Dan Wang's New York Times Best Seller book, “Breakneck,” if you're into all things China-related.
