We sat down to discuss some sports topics that we haven't had the opportunity to speak on like the NBA Finals, USA Basketball, and NBA Summer League. This eventually led us into a debate on Kobe not being in the GOAT debate. Y'all let us know what you think in the comments. We will be inviting others on in the future to have these discussions with us. #USABasketball #Sports #NBAFinals #Kobe #Lebron #CanWeTalkNetwork
I pulled up to the 3rd Annual Skills Development Camp in Alachua, FL to chop it up with some local NFL and college talent. The Philadelphia Eagles', Quinyon Mitchell, 22nd pick of the NFL draft was present and I had the opportunity to catch up with him and his dad. Overall, this was a great camp for our local youth and I love what the guys are doing for our area. #CanWeTalkNetwork #MenCanWeTalk #DadCanWeTalk #HGWW #FOY #SXC #SupremeLinemen
It's been a long time coming, bt we finally made it happen! There has been a lot going on in the small town of Newberry, but there are some big voices that had something to say concerning the noise. We pulled up on Coach Ed Johnson and his crew to talk all things football and his recent reinstatement as the head football coach. We also got into some of the local rivalries and there plans to knock off the back-to-back state champion Hawthorne Hornets next year. We were able to hear the perspective of two Newberry players on last season and what they're aiming for next season. You don't want to miss this great interview!
For episode 16, we posted up at Fortitude Gym in east Gainesville. We had the opportunity to sit with two sharp young brothers and discuss the Bike Life. If you live in Gainesville, FL you have probably witnessed Z3 riding around town doing some of the most amazing tricks on his bike. So I reached out to him to hear his story. I must say, this was personally one of my favorite interviews. I love to see young men doing something positive, and he's all about "put the gun down and pick up a bike". I love the message. And the fact that he is taking other young brothers like KShorty under his wing is admirable✊

We're back after a long layoff! It was only right that we came back with two kings out of east Gainesville and highlight the great things they are doing. Tim Shankle (Homegrown Worldwide) & Cordera Ferguson (Fountain of Youth) sat with us to share why they're so passionate about what they do. They also talked about the importance of the SE Boys and Girls club to east Gainesville. Of course we had to talk about the turnaround happening with the Eastside High School football program. Be sure to show your support to these brothers, it's imperative that we support our own. July 8th they will be having their 2nd annual Skills Development Camp from 9am to 2pm. #MenTalk #Homegrown #FountainOfYouth #FOY #HGWW #CanWeTalk #ShopTalk #Podcast
There was a post going around social media asking "How many times should a couple have sex in a month?". There were many people that weighed in on the topic. So we decided that we would insert our opinions here on the podcast. We have plans to invite our wives in on this conversation at a later date, until then, let us know what you think! #MenCanWeTalk #MenTalk #Sex #ShopTalk #Marriage #Relationships
We sat down with one of our young boys to chop it up about life. We checked in with one another concerning our mental, spiritual, and emotional state. We had Yaakov back for this episode so you know he went off about the state of the black community and the turmoil we are facing here in Gainesville. It got real on a few topics
Episode 8 had us posted up at the Ray residence on a stormy Sunday afternoon. This one was special for me because it's been close to 20yrs since the last time I saw my homie Jeffrey. He did 15yrs behind the walls, and we sat down with him to talk about his experience. Ach Azriel also shared his experience as an officer inside of prison, so this made for some great conversation. #MenCanWeTalk #ManTalk #ShopTalk
In this episode we sat down and discussed the topics of relationships and marriage. Together we had a combined 36yrs of marriage experience and over 40yrs of relationship experience. We also had our young boy Aaron join the discussion, who's in his 20's and single. He was able to give his take on dating and seeking marriage as a young man growing up in the social media era. We hit on many different areas including intermarrying, pitfalls in marriage, pursuing a woman, the effects of social media on relationships, Lori Harvey, and finding the right one. We are sending out an open invitation to a few women that would like to come sit with us on the podcast and give us a woman's point of view on some of these topics
After a quick hiatus, we're back in business. Episode 6 found us sitting down with one of the Hawthorne Road Hoyas, Jerrod "Juice" Owens. We talked about the origin of the Hoyas and why they do what they do. I had to give them props because this year is the 10th year anniversary of their annual Hoya Weekend in Gainesville. Doing anything for 10 consecutive years takes commitment and perseverance, especially for young dudes like them✊
We pulled up to the Muck City Music Showcase at The Fox Lounge to chop it up with a few of the artists. Check out their content and if you rock with it, go subscribe to their socials and support these up and coming artists. Shoutout to my man Danny B for inviting us out to this event, we will definitely be back again!✊
We sat down in this episode to discuss black politics. Topics included being afraid to operate outside of the system, defunding the police, the black church and banking, Larry Hoover, the Poor People's Campaign, and many more things. If you are or know of any black political leaders that would like to come share on the podcast, contact us. We want to continue this conversation. #MenCanWeTalk #Politics #ChangingTheNarrative #ShopTalk #MLK #Community
In episode 3, the brothers sat down with artist Fakksonly, DJ Statuz, and DJ Zoo Hendrix to talk about the state of hip hop. We discussed a variety of topics including digital streaming, rap beef, dj's supporting artists in their city, Mount Rushmore of hip hop, and why the industry supports toxicity over substance. This was a great conversation that needs a part 2, so be looking forward to that in the near future. Appreciate these brothers for being our first guests on the show, nothing but love and respect✊
