Seek God for full understanding. His plan may include you becoming more of a facilitator than the feature. Resource churches beyond your own. There are under-resourced churches in the areas you see ripe for the gospel. God is already doing the work BEFORE your ministry shows up. Seek those churches and pastors out. Move beyond the denominational banner you wave. Cultural competency. Listen and be slow to speak. Understand that contextualization may not be something you understand fully. Seek to understand. Your experience is just that, YOUR experience. Having black or white friends doesn't make you an expect. Learn to mourn with those who mourn even if you don't fully understand it. Step aside and be someone's guide NOT the Lead. Make space for others. Surrendering your pulpits is only the beginning. Not the end. Diversity should be messy. And beautiful. Assimilation is never the answer. Diversity is a gift. We may not worship the same but we worship the same God. Jesus is the only way. Its NOT your way or mine. Gospel Essentials are important; but what works in suburbia may not work in rural. What works for middle class is different than low income. Often times we place prevailing church planting models as the standard. Nah bro..... COVID 19 has been disruptive...GOOD. Don't go back to the "attractional consumer" model. It will allow you only to treat these topics as events. Not lifestyle. Discipleship is murder to self-indulgence.

Reproducing is so much bigger than growing. From the earliest days of Christianity, the way forward was to plant churches. Are you a pastor that looks to reproduce? In this podcast Pastor Hopper will cover 4 main things that Reproducing is: 1) Obedient 2) Strategic 3) Healthy 4) Doable. It leads us to ask if we are willing to give your best away? Do we empower the leaders in our churches and send them out to invest in God's mission? Let's make it a goal to be faithful to what God has called us to do, to hold on to what has been given to us loosely and to know that we need to continually have those things of God continually flowing out to others. 

Listen to Ethan Welch, pastor of The Bridge Church in Wilmington, talk about restoration. Restoration is one of Church Planting N.C.'s three core values. We must positively impact our mission fields with the love that the Gospel demonstrates, it's about getting into their space. Jesus never commanded the lost to go to church, He commanded the church to go to the lost. Are we willing to do the same?

Listen to Pastor Tamran Inayat of The Point Church - Urdu, the first church for Pakistani people in North Carolina. Pastor Inayat talks about persevering and remaining faithful to God's calling without seeing the fruit you had hoped to see.  Sometimes God's answer is slow, not a no. 

Trent Holbert, a pastor from Kentucky, worked hard to plant churches and reach people with the Gospel but realized he wasn't making disciples. He started searching for a location to plant an organic church to reach people through relationships when God led him to Black Mountain, N.C.
