Marty is doing groundbreaking work in understanding how and why we eat. The information he is gathering and analyzing is showing us that our bodies are smarter than we give them credit for and if we learn to listen we'll be far better off. The more research Marty does, the further away we get from dogmatic adherence to a single principle and the closer we get to achieving the optimal human diet. Marty's new book! Jaime discovered her passion for nutrition shortly after her first child was born. She started to become more mindful of what her family was eating. She jumped at any opportunity to learn more about nutrition and wellness. She took classes, read books, researched, experimented, and began making big changes in the kitchen. She and her husband started to experience positive changes in their own health: boosts in energy, clearer skin, weight loss, and more. Her husband who had been suffering from debilitating migraines for years was for the first time pain-free. She got certified as an NTP through the Nutritional Therapy Association so that she could help others who wanted to make better food choices for themselves and their families. Laura Gray is passionate about mountain biking and what it can teach us about life, and helping others. She is very energized by the new, youth mountain biking league in Maryland and what it is doing not just for kids but for girls especially. We both work as part of the fantastic management team of the Maryland Inter-Scholastic Cycling League (MICL). We are both super excited to bring this experience to Maryland, not just for the kids but to also provide an outlet for adults to give back to the community. I have never felt so energized doing something as a volunteer. It has helped fill a void and I urge you to listen and consider the league as a cause you can buy into.
