The Preacher Podcast is a dedicated podcast that focuses on the TV series adaptation of the Preacher comic books. As a fan of the show, I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to this podcast.
One of the best aspects of The Preacher Podcast is the depth of knowledge that the hosts bring to each episode. They have clearly done their research and are able to provide insightful analysis and discussion about the show and its connections to the original comic book series. Their in-depth discussions are peppered with humor, wit, and wisdom, making for an entertaining listen. Additionally, they have created a great community around the podcast, with fan interaction through emails and feedback being a regular part of their episodes.
Another great aspect of this podcast is its format. The hosts provide a summary of each episode and then cover different aspects separately, allowing for a comprehensive review. The format also allows for tangents and digressions, which adds an element of unpredictability and makes for an engaging listen.
However, there are some minor downsides to The Preacher Podcast. One criticism I have is that it took a few episodes for the hosts to find their groove. While this is understandable for any new podcast, it did affect the early episodes in terms of pacing and structure. However, once they found their rhythm after a few episodes, the quality greatly improved.
In conclusion, The Preacher Podcast is a must-listen for fans of both the Preacher TV series and the original comics. With knowledgeable hosts who provide insightful analysis along with humor and fan interaction, it is an enjoyable way to dive deeper into the world of Preacher. Despite some initial hiccups in its early episodes, this podcast has become one of my favorites and I highly recommend giving it a listen if you're a fan of the show or comics.

Chapter 7 "The Reckoning" The Mandalorian receives a message from Greef Karga. Karga’s town has been overrun by Imperial troops led by the Client, who is desperate to recover the Child. Karga proposes that the Mandalorian use the Child as bait in order to kill the Client and free the town. In return, Karga will square things with the Guild, which would allow the Mandalorian and the Child to live in peace. The Mandalorian defeats a pursuing bounty hunter in a dogfight, but the Mandalorian's ship is damaged and lands at a repair facility run by Peli Motto in Mos Eisley on Tatooine. While seeking work to pay for the repairs in a local cantina, he meets Toro Calican, a young bounty hunter looking to join the guild by capturing Fennec Shand, a well-trained mercenary. The Mandalorian agrees to help him for the bounty, while the other gains credit for the capture.
