Wir haben darüber gesprochen, warum Tobi mal Spagat konnte, wie er mit Fake News oder aufdringlichen Eltern umgeht und wie man sich auch als Erwachsener eine kindliche Neugierde bewahren kann. Two major problems exist here: one, if this treatment of Islam were to override the First Amendment, how long do you think it will be before the same war comes for Christianity – has it not already? Two, are you so sure that the rhetoric of Lang even makes sense? A glance at the Quran will demonstrate that it actually teaches peace, not to commit suicide, forbids usury strongly, and the additional sayings of Muhammed call for followers to never kill women or children. Most of the accusations Lang makes against Islam are actually projections of accusations made against Jews. As the propaganda has failed to secure ongoing American support for Israel from all parties, it has turned to a Christian base that is willing to sell its birthright for a couple Bible verses. Two major problems exist here: one, if this treatment of Islam were to override the First Amendment, how long do you think it will be before the same war comes for Christianity - has it not already? BEST OF: With a reportedly historical peace agreement made in the Middle East war has been averted and the world will finally be a harmonious place to live for all people. Sure, if you believe in the framing of that narrative. Reality is much different. The so-called “peace” deal was only agreed upon for two major reason: one, the President had to ensure Israel would not break it, because this is all they have ever done to such agreements; and two, because Jared Kushner was the architect, the same guy who wants to build, with Trump, a resort in Gaza. At home it was Stephen Miller who is credited as the architect of a militarized police state, the same guy behind White House policy who said the President is now operating with “plenary authority,” total authoritarian rule. How naive are we? Within hours of the peace announcement, Israel was claiming its enemies were simply regrouping and that soon an American city may be in the crosshairs of a nuclear attack from Iran. This is just days after we were told that terrorists were going to dress like the Village People and bomb hospitals in the US. Since the President has been labeled a “savior” and “messiah” of the Jewish people by Mariam Adelson, it appears the plan is set. The peace will not last long and will be violated in a way that triggers a larger war. The nihilists will be unleashed, Christianity and Islam will go to war, and the Jewish state will fulfill their Talmudic prophecy about the antichrist; about non-Jews becoming servants of Jews. The push for Armageddon optics is so obvious and yet Christians tend to go along with it because what it implies for their own belief. The notion that America should invest only in Israel, ban other religions, and create a Judeo-Christian theocracy is a growing cancer. In this way, it appears that Jesus himself is the reason for the treason. Otherwise, one does not need Jesus or Christianity to have a safe, clean, high-trust, advanced society. A classic pastime is getting its own national championship. The Stone Skimming Nationals will be held next May at Lake Hāwea, with the winners heading on to the World Championship in Scotland. Around 150 people are expected to compete, with more than 100 spectating the event. Lake Hāwea Station's Tourism Manager Richie Lang told Heather du Plessis-Allan originally there wasn't a huge amount of interest in hosting the event, but then a cheating scandal at the World Stone Skimming Championships came around and put the sport on the world map. Today on The Art Bystander, I speak with Marlies Wirth, Curator for Digital Culture and Head of the Design Collection at the MAK in Vienna, about one of the most quietly radical figures of late-20th- and early-21st-century culture: Helmut Lang. Our conversation turns not to his later sculptural practice, but to the architecture of a legacy that reshaped how we understand design, communication, identity, and the very idea of what a fashion house could be.The MAK's new exhibition, Excerpts from the MAK Helmut Lang Archive — running 10.12.2025 → 03.05.2026 — reflects on the years 1986–2005, a period in which Lang's vision dissolved the boundaries between disciplines. His work unfolded across clothing, graphics, architecture, staging, branding, and digital experimentation — not as separate gestures, but as parts of a single cultural language. Long before he stepped away from fashion, Lang had already begun to operate like an artist moving across mediums, using every surface as a site of meaning.This retrospective reveals how deeply his ideas anticipated the world we now take for granted. It recalls the moment he livestreamed a runway before the internet had become a stage; the years when he turned New York itself into an extension of his voice; the way his presentations and stores became environments rather than commercial spaces. Lang's legacy is not simply a story of minimalism or aesthetic restraint — it is a study in how form can become communication, and how identity can be constructed with both precision and quiet intensity.In speaking with Marlies, the past becomes newly vivid: not nostalgic, but architectural. Drawing on historical and cross-cultural sources, we examine how rituals and spells have been used not merely as private acts of devotion but as technologies of politics, resistance, and reconciliation. From the Assyrian Maqlû tablets and Egyptian execration rites, to the Wiccan “Cone of Power” against Hitler and the modern #MagicResistance movement, we uncover how ritual has been mobilised to defend rulers, resist tyranny, and shape the course of events.The lecture also turns to reconciliation practices such as the Acholi Mato Oput in Uganda, Hawaiian ho‘oponopono, and Arab-Islamic sulha, showing how communities have ritualised the difficult work of forgiveness and the transformation of enmity. By analysing these cases, we see how ritual externalises conflict into material or symbolic form, such as burned effigies, bitter drinks, and shared meals, so that violence can be reframed, managed, or dissolved.CONNECT & SUPPORT

EPSTEIN FILES TRANSPARENCY ACT PASSES IN HOUSE AND SENATE.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE------HomeFront-Michigan: Tensions have become inflamed following demonstrations over the past few days in Dearborn. The entire affair revolves around one man, Jake Lang, who is attempting to start an "America Against Islamification" movement in Dearborn. So far several clashes have been reported between Lang's group and residents.Analyst Comment: Jake Lang doesn't live in Dearborn, he lives in New York. He's also currently running for office in Florida, and attempting to unseat Ashley Moody from her Senate seat in 2026.Indiana: More details have come to light regarding a fatal traffic accident that occurred on I-65 in Boone County over the weekend. Goderdzi Gujabidze was driving a pickup truck hauling another vehicle on a trailer when he collided with a National Guard convoy. His truck collided with one HMMWV, killing one Guardsman, and wounding the three other soldiers inside the vehicle. Gujabidze was arrested by ICE on Monday, as he is an illegal immigrant from the nation of Georgia.-----END TEARLINE-----Analyst Comments: In Congress, the bill to force the release of Epstein documents passed in the House and the Senate, and is expected to become law once signed by President Trump.As a reminder, President Trump has already mandated the release of these documents several times. In the world of classified documents, the President is an Original Classification Authority (OCA) so any documents that are classified for national security purposes always have been able to be released, so Congressional involvement was unnecessary. Additionally, the Binder Incident from just a few months ago cannot be forgotten either; this entire affair was already settled and allegedly on Pam Bondi's desk months ago. Now, every politician in the country is acting like we're examining this scandal for the first time.At least now, those protecting the Epstein clients are being a bit more honest. Rep. Mike Johnson stated that when more files are released, the documents will be heavily redacted, saying that "We can't release the full Epstein files without redactions due to National Security concerns" and that they need to "make sure we don't do permanent damage to the political system" by releasing the files. This of course led to the immediate assumption being that the Epstein network presenting national security concerns means that powerful elites are indeed implicated, and the US government will protect them to prevent the government from collapsing. Or at least, that's the current narrative that is now the official position of Congress and the White House.This afternoon, AG Bondi stated that a new investigation is ongoing, which will limit the release of most of what Congress just passed. Congress cannot order a federal agency to release documents pertaining to an ongoing investigation, so an ongoing investigation has miraculously materialized.
