Suddenly, his wife and kids turn to dust and he has no idea why. 23 days later, Tony Stark & Nebula are stuck in space together. She's helping him heal. They're about to run out of oxygen when Captain Marvel shows up to save them. She brings them back to Earth where they're reunited with Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Rhodey & Rocket. The happy reunion doesn't last long. Tony does one of his famous freak outs, saying things he will most certainly regret. Captain Marvel gets the rundown & decides she's going to go kill Thanos herself. Everyone is like this witch shows up out of nowhere and now wants to be the hero, but Thor likes her and says we should go. So they track Thanos down. He's like oh hi. I destroyed the stones. My bad. So Thor cuts his head off. Fast forward 5 years and Scott randomly pops out of the quantum realm machine, very confused. So he goes to talk to the Avengers about his experience. He tells Cap & Natasha about how for him, the 5 years was only 5 minutes. Maybe there's some way to use the quantum realm to go back in time and stop Thanos. Only one guy is smart enough to help - Tony. But now Tony has a daughter & he's not interested in helping. But Tony can't forget about it. He pokes around and figures out how it could work. Scott, Cap, and Natasha turn to the next smartest guy they know - Bruce. He agrees to help and they do some experiments but nothing overly helpful. Tony shows up with a time traveling device and says it's time to get the band back together. They do some testing and find out they can go to the past and bring something back without changing anything. So they have a plan - team up and go get the stones and bring them to the present which would prevent Thanos from being able to do his thing. Banner, Lang, Rogers, and Stark travel back to New York during Loki's 2012 invasion. At the Sanctum Sanctorum, Banner persuades the Ancient One to hand over the Time Stone by promising that all of the Infinity Stones will eventually be returned to their rightful places in time. Plus, Doctor Strange gave it up willingly in his time which is good enough for the Ancient One. Meanwhile, at Stark Tower, Rogers successfully recovers the Mind Stone from Hydra agents posing as S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives. However, Stark and Lang's plan to steal the Space Stone goes wrong, allowing Loki to escape with it. To recover from the setback, Rogers and Stark travel further back to 1970, where Stark obtains an earlier version of the Space Stone and unexpectedly gets the chance to speak with his father. Rogers steals additional Pym Particles needed for their return trip and catches a glimpse of his lost love, Peggy Carter. Meanwhile, Thor and Rocket journey to Asgard in 2013. Rocket extracts the Reality Stone from Jane Foster, while Thor reunites with his mother, Frigga, who snaps him out of his funk and gets his swag and his hammer back. In 2014, Nebula and Rhodey travel to Morag and secure the Power Stone before Peter Quill can retrieve it. Hawkeye and Black Widow head to Vormir, where Red Skull explains that the Soul Stone can only be obtained through the sacrifice of someone you love. Romanoff gives her life so Barton can claim the Stone. As Rhodes and Nebula prepare to return to the present, Nebula's cybernetic implants connect with those of her past self. This allows the 2014 version of Thanos to learn about his future defeat and the Avengers' plan to reverse it. Thanos captures Nebula and sends her 2014 counterpart into the future to infiltrate the Avengers and pave the way for his arrival. So they all return back in the present with the stones, sans Natasha. They put the stones on an iron glove and Bruce agrees that he's probably the best dude for the job. He snaps and immediately collapses. Hawkeye immediately gets a phone call from his wife. It worked!!! But the happiness doesn't last long because 2014 Gamora used the Time Machine to get 2014 Thanos to show up and shoot the Avengers compound up big time. He's like thanks for getting all of the stones together for me. It's giant fight time, folks. And it's not looking great for the Avengers despite the fact that Thor's hammer saw Cap as worthy enough to use it. But just when it's looking bleak, Doctor Strange returns by opening portals for the rest of the Avengers to show up and join the battle. Avengers assemble and IT'S AWESOME! It's a tough battle and Scott is busy getting his van Time Machine up and running since Thanos destroyed the other one so that they can return the stones. Captain Marvel shows up last minute and it's looking like they might do it but Thanos makes the van explode. Thanos gets the gauntlet back but Captain Marvel stops him from snapping his fingers. He's able to free himself. It's looking like a lost cause but Tony looks over at Strange who holds up 1 finger, showing Tony that this is the 1 in 14 million chances they win. Tony is able to get the stones and snap his fingers and make Thanos and his baddies disappear. But unfortunately the blast was too much for Tony and he dies. At Tony's funeral, all the Avengers show up to show their respects. They create a new Time Machine and Captain America goes to return all of the stones to their proper time. But he doesn't return to present day. Well, he does but he's old. He decided to stay in 1970 and grow old with Peggy Carter. Steve gives Sam his shield. We have a new Captain America now. Today we are revisiting a tragic case of negligence which originally captivated us back in 2024.  When Marie and Pierre Curie discovered radium in 1898, the chemical element was quickly adopted by manufacturers for its luminescent properties that would go on to be used in, among other things, the painting of clock faces, watches, and instrument panels, allowing them to be seen in the dark. At the time, the introduction of radioluminescent materials into manufacturing was hailed as a scientific solution to an age-old frustration, but it didn't take long before that solution was shown to have terrible consequences. As a radioactive element, radium is highly toxic to humans, particularly when ingested or inhaled. While it seemed unlikely that anyone would ingest or inhale the radium used to paint a clockface, this fact posed a serious problem for the largely female factory workers whose job it was to paint the dials. These “Radium Girls,” as they would come to be known, not only spent most of their day in close proximity to the paint, but also employed a technique in which they frequently wet their paintbrushes with their mouths, consuming small amounts of radium in the process. Throughout the first half of the twentieth century, hundreds of young women working in at least three radium dial factories in the United States suffered deadly radiation poisoning as a result of working so closely with radium, all without any safety protocols and completely unaware of the dangers. After dozens of deaths, a group of factory workers successfully sued their employers for damages, exposing the widespread disregard for worker safety. While the suits were generally a major victory for the American labor movement, it was ultimately hard-won and little comfort to those who would die within a few years. On January 17, 2026, eighty-three-year-old Gail Crane was reported missing from her home in May's Lick, Kentucky. Investigators determined her former caretaker, Rita Lang, who had been let go the day prior, was a person of interest. Crane was located a hundred miles away inside Lang's vehicle with unexplained injuries. This week I'm reading from Richard Lang's book 'UAP Incidents First Responders Guide: POLICE - EMS - FD' UFO/UAP Enigma Is Real - Now more than ever it is becoming clear to the general public that UFO/UAP enigma is real. After years of secrecy the truth is finally coming out about vehicles of non-human origin that have visited here, some that have crashed here, and non-human entities both dead and alive that have been recovered. UAP Incident Preparedness for First Responders - Just as officers were once trained in hazardous materials recognition and counterterrorism preparedness, UAP Incident Preparedness will hopefully become a necessary component of public safety operations and training. Law enforcement officers are uniquely vulnerable to UAP encounters due to the isolated and unpredictable nature of patrol work. Therefore, it stands to reason that sheriff's offices, police departments, fire departments and EMS rescue squads would now want their people properly trained to understand this phenomenon, to at least know a little bit about the history of it and most importantly from a personal safety perspective, know what to do and not do if they ever encounter such a situation. Bio Ufologist - Researcher - Investigator - Author - Speaker Richard Lang was an FAA Licensed Commercial Pilot with an Instrument, Multi Engine Rating for over thirty years. He has a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Studies and an Associate's Degree in Aviation Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. Mr. Lang enjoyed a successful career for more than 20 years in the corporate banking world as a Senior Vice President working in Brokerage and the Trust Investment Division of Commercial Banks, which afforded him personal time off and sufficient income to explore a lifelong interest in UFO/UAP research. MUFON STAR TEAM While employed in the corporate banking world during the 1990s, Richard joined the UFO organization known as MUFON and was certified as a Field Investigator; he eventually was appointed as Chief Investigator for MUFON in both Virginia and North Carolina. He was one of the original six members of the elite MUFON STAR team where he functioned as coordinator and the first manager of the team. Virginia Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Richard attained registration as a Private Investigator and Personal Protection Specialist with DCJS in 2000 and he worked part time for a private investigation firm in Charlottesville doing surveillance and investigation. In 2002, Lang graduated from the Police Academy and certified as a sworn law enforcement officer in Virginia as a Reserve Deputy for the Albemarle County Sheriff's Office, primarily providing volunteer community service on weekends and evenings which he really enjoyed. During this time, he received certification from the Virginia Department of Emergency Services as a Search-Rescue Field Team Leader and was certified as a Weapons of Mass Destruction Responder from the US Department of Justice. Federal Law Enforcement In the post 911 period Mr. Lang left his banking career to serve as a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) at the rank of Sergeant in Virginia airports. He was sworn both on the federal level as Special Deputy for the U.S. Marshals Service and on the state level as a Deputy Sheriff for the County Sheriff's Office. During this time the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was initially created as Congress had mandated extremely high levels of security for USA Airports. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) After serving for approximately a year as a LEO Richard was hired by Homeland Security and assigned to TSA as a Federal Liaison for airport stakeholders responsible for implementing federal procedures and dealing with regulatory initiatives associated with aviation security. This also included responsibility for airlines and airport authorities as well as all law enforcement agencies in Virginia that respond to airports during aviation emergencies. Het lek zat in de Orchard pool, het privacygedeelte van het zcashprotocol, en was sinds de activering in mei 2022 onopgemerkt aanwezig. Beveiligingsonderzoeker Taylor Hornby ontdekte het gat eind mei met behulp van Opus 4.8, een openbaar model van Anthropic. In een testomgeving kon hij er een onbeperkt aantal vervalste zcashmunten mee aanmaken, volledig onzichtbaar voor de buitenwereld. Was het lek op het echte netwerk misbruikt, dan had het de geloofwaardigheid van de totale muntvoorraad kunnen ondermijnen. Ontwikkelaarsorganisatie Shielded Labs maakte het probleem openbaar en verhielp het in een spoedupdate, binnen enkele dagen na de ontdekking. Toch reageerde de markt nerveus. Hij stootte zijn volledige positie af, omdat misbruik niet wiskundig viel uit te sluiten. In de prijsanalyse staat de bredere markt centraal. Bitcoin zakte de afgelopen week opnieuw weg en beleefde de derde grote capitulatie van deze bearmarkt, met een daling van 17 procent in vier dagen vanaf zo'n 74.000 dollar. Lang gold cryptovaluta als te volatiel voor zo'n constructie, maar dat veranderde nadat toezichthouder FHFA onder leiding van Bill Pulte besloot crypto op centrale beurzen mee te laten tellen. Munten in een eigen wallet tellen daarbij niet mee. De opzet bestaat uit twee leningen: een gewone hypotheek volgens de regels van Fannie Mae en daarnaast een tweede lening met de crypto als onderpand. Dagelijkse koersschommelingen leiden niet tot gedwongen verkoop, al kan de verstrekker bij langdurige betalingsachterstand alsnog ingrijpen. On October 30, 1975, fifteen-year-old Martha Moxley failed to return home after a night out with friends in Belle Haven, an exclusive wealthy enclave in Greenwich, CT. Action: Search “real estate meetup [your city]” or BiggerPockets forums to find one happening this month. Download a free property management app before you even have a tenant. TenantCloud is free and builds the habits and systems you’ll need from day one. Don’t wait until you’re overwhelmed. Action: Sign up for TenantCloud today so the infrastructure is ready when you need it. Run the BRRRR  (buy, rehab, rent, refiance, repeat) numbers on one deal — even a fake one. Practice underwriting: find a distressed listing on Zillow, estimate rehab costs, and see if it hits the 75% LTV threshold after repair value. You learn by doing the math. Action: Pick one listing this week and walk through Jessie’s formula ($100K purchase + $40K rehab + $10K holding = $150K all-in, needs to appraise at $200K). Hire your “boots on the ground” before you make an offer. If you’re investing outside your market, line up a neutral third party first — someone from a local Facebook group or BiggerPockets subforum who will be your eyes and ears for $50–100 a trip. On October 30, 1975, fifteen-year-old Martha Moxley failed to return home after a night out with friends in Belle Haven, an exclusive wealthy enclave in Greenwich, CT.
