For this episode I’ve invited Satsuki Shibuya, an established Painter, Poet & Spiritual Thinker working and living in Los Angeles, California. What I admire the most about Satsuki is her intuitive nature and spiritual practice and wisdom gained from years of experimentation, confusion, and a whole lot of divine trust. Her experience, beautifully infuses her light and dreamy paintings, her poetry and the way she show up as an human being. Enjoy the interview.Show notes: https://www.preciousimplicity.com/podcast/satsukiTOPICS DISCUSSED ON THIS EPISODEGrowing in Los Angeles, as a 2nd generation Japanese-AmericanGender and race discrimination in music educationSwitching from music to visual artExperiencing illness as a creative entrepreneurHow exploring a spiritual path lead her to paintingHer intuitive and holistic creative processNavigating life and creative shiftsBeing open during vulnerable timesHer approach to poetryWisdom on living life authentically

Laxmi Hussain is a Londoner, Visual Artist and a mother. Her work is now mainly focusing on the colour blue which she uses to explore the woman’s body in a very raw and honest way. I am very happy to introduce you to Laxmi, if you don’t already know her, as she is an important figure in my journey as an Illustrator. Back in early 2016, discovering her simple and powerful drawings on Instagram gave me the courage to start sharing mine as well, through “100 drawing a day challenge”. Overtime my portfolio developped and my career as an Illustrator started. I hope you’ll be as inspired by her as I am. I got the chance to interview Linda Pappa, one half of the talented creative duo Kinlake, on her recently blooming personal work as a Visual Artist. Originally from Luxembourg, Linda and her husband moved to Crete, a small Greek island to pursue a semi-nomadic lifestyle while running their creative businesses. We discussed about her creative journey, inspirations, mindset and lifestyle. Like me, you will be immensely inspired by Linda’s free spirit and effortless fusion between her daily life and her beautiful body of work. Enjoy the interview!More infos on www.preciousimplicity.com
