Madison Bumgarner is a great pitcher and the Giants were looking to trade him for future prospects, but now, the Giants have a hot streak and it is a great dilemma. I give my opinion on this and how I think the Giants can go the distance
Hello there and welcome to another edition of the San Francisco Giants. We are first going to talk about the All-Star break. On Tuesday, the home run derby took place and Pete Alonso won. Even though Vladimir Guerro Jr hit 91 home runs, he lost to Pete Alonso. Now, everyone was complaining that it was not fair that Vlad hit more home runs but lost. Here's what I think. The person who wins the finals wins. Just because Vlad Jr hit 91 home runs but lost in the finals doesn't mean that Vlad should win. That's like saying if a team scores more runs in a playoff series, but loses the series, that team should move on, which shouldn't happen. I think that Vlad got tired after an epic duel with him and Joc Pederson that last 3 tiebreakers. I couldn't watch the All-Star game because I had baseball practice but the American League won 4-3 and won their 7th straight All-Star game. Will Smith threw only 3 pitches and allowed a solo home run to Joey Gallo. Looks like we should add another one to the list on Giants pitching meltdowns. The Giants now face the Brewers in a 3 game set before moving on to Colorado for another 3 game series. Shaun Anderson starts today at 5.10 pm PT. Go to giantsfansite.com to read the full preview. Hello, there an welcome to the San Francisco Giants podcast. Today we are going to be talking about the Giant’s current homestand, trade and this weeks edition of Minor League Rundown. First, the homestand. The Giants swept the Padres behind the quality start of Shaun Anderson after losing a series to the Dodgers. Shaun Anderson allowed 2 earned runs on 4 hits and striking out 6. After getting a 1 day rest, the Brewers come to town to play the Giants. Drew Pomeranz looks to improve from a struggling season so far. You can get the full stories at giantsfansite.com The Giants made a small trade to the Padres, sending RHP Franklin Van Gurp for 30 year old Alex Dickerson. Now personally I don’t like this trade. Why do you trade a 23 year old for a 30 year old who bats .158? According to McCovey Cove, “Dickerson doesn’t have the same great name that Van Gurp has, but he’s the same kind of lottery ticket: potential, but loads of risk. For a team trying to relearn how to score runs, this is a good bet for them. The only problem is that he is 30. He is only going to be in the majors for a few years before probably retiring and that is if this whole thing works out. Now it is time for today’s Minor League Roundup. The DSL season started and the DSL Giants are doing really good. They are 8-3 and won yesterday’s game 4-0. San Jose and Richmond are struggling really bad, Richmond at 23-40 and San Jose at 29-37. With Joey Bart and Heliot Ramos on San Jose, I think San Jose can make a late playoff push. Augusta lost to Rome 7-4, after blowing a 4-0 lead. Sacramento beat Ohmaha in 11 innings 5-4.

Hello there and welcome to the 8th episode of this podcast. The Giants swept the Bluejays in a quick two game series and the Giants then got swept by the Yankees. Also, Joey Bart and Heliot Ramos are injured. Twitter: @KingsNetworkINC Youtube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzz3a7QA-lQDHtlxBMGLpwg?view_as=subscriber
New episode. Also, I forgot to mention in the podcast that the Giants acquired Kevin Pillar for Alen Hanson, Derek Law and Juan De Paula. This is a good move, but I feel that the Giants should have gotten a more offensive outfielder rather than a defensive outfielder.
