In this weeks episode, we meet Aidan Rowe who is coached by Brady Threlfall. Aidan Rowe's transformation into a distance runner is a remarkable narrative of resilience and rapid growth. Having spent much of his athletic life in footy boots, he decided in February to pivot toward structured running. This transition was particularly challenging because he was coming back from a significant injury—a broken pelvis—that had left him struggling to complete even 2km at the start of his journey. Under the expert guidance of coach Brady Threlfall, Aidan transformed these humble beginnings into a dedicated training regimen. Despite the demands of a high-pressure career as a boilermaker, where he regularly works 10 to 12-hour shifts, Aidan remained steadfast in his commitment to his training plan. He learned to master the art of balancing an intense physical job with the rigor of marathon preparation, showing that consistency is often more important than perfection. The culmination of his hard work arrived at the Gold Coast Marathon, where he successfully completed his debut at the distance in 4:03:11. Throughout the race, Aidan learned the classic, humbling lesson that "the marathon starts at 30km," experiencing firsthand the physical and mental toll that only the final stages of a race can extract. Despite the difficulty of those final kilometers, he described the event as an incredible experience, bolstered by the electric atmosphere and the satisfaction of seeing months of focused work pay off. Looking ahead, Aidan is not slowing down; he has already set his sights on new goals, including the City to Surf and the Noosa Triathlon. When asked what advice he would give his 18-year-old self, his response captures the essence of his journey: "Have a crack". This episode is brought to you in partnership with Oat Running Socks; Aidan is rewarded for jumping on the show with a pair, and listeners can score some using the run2pb discount code "Run2pb15" for 15% off the range by visiting www.oatrunning.com.au.

Over the past decade, Jaime (@iGumdrop) has built a 2M+ following, founded her own successful clothing brand, dropped out of college to pursue streaming, and now she's on the cast of Season 16 of MasterChef! In this week's episode of Office Drama, we get into the version of the story you don't see on TV.In this ep, we talk about:→ why she almost said no to MasterChef→ what it's like to be on the cast of MasterChef→ the insane reality TV background check nobody warns you about→ what Gordon Ramsay is ACTUALLY like in person→ the roti canai controversy→ the truth about agents, managers, and the people you work with as a creator→ why "the interview never matters" and what she actually hires on→ how she skipped the 5-year plan and went straight to a deathbed planThis episode is for anyone who's ever been underestimated, boxed into one version of themselves, or scared to take the leap because they might look like a fool. Jaime is one of the most earnest, chaotic, hilarious people I know, and watching her bet on herself, publicly, after ten years of quietly putting in the work is exactly the kind of story I started this show to tell.→ Find Jaime:https://www.youtube.com/@igumdrophttps://www.twitch.tv/igumdrophttps://www.instagram.com/igumdrop/https://www.tiktok.com/@igumdropA huge thank you to the MasterChef production team for letting us share these stories!#MasterChef #MasterChefGlobalGauntlet@MasterChefonFOX @FOXTV @FoodClubFOXSubmit your Coworker Confessions

Fresh off a record-breaking performance at the 2026 Western States 100, Jennifer Lichter joins the podcast to share the story behind one of the most impressive breakthroughs in ultrarunning. Jenn won Western States in 15:28:05, breaking Courtney Dauwalter’s course record in her very first 100-mile race. Just a few months earlier, she won Black Canyon 100K and set another course record in her debut at that distance. In this conversation, Jenn reflects on the race itself, the mindset it took to stay present over 100 miles, and how she handled the pressure of chasing history. She also opens up about her childhood in Colombia, being adopted and moving to the United States, and how those experiences shaped the resilience and gratitude that define both her life and her running. We also talk about training with coach John Fitzgerald, her nutrition strategy, racing after battling a stomach bug just days before Western States, and what comes next as she looks toward the future. Topics covered: Winning the 2026 Western States 100 Breaking Courtney Dauwalter’s course record Running a course record in her 100-mile debut Winning Black Canyon 100K in her first 100K Growing up in Colombia and being adopted Gratitude, resilience, and how hardship shaped her Training with coach John Fitzgerald Racing while recovering from a stomach bug Nutrition strategy at Western States Managing pressure and expectations during a 100-mile race Life in Missoula and training with Nike ACG Looking ahead to CCC at UTMB Sponsors: Goodr Goodr sunglasses are no-slip, no-bounce, all polarized, and actually affordable, with tons of fun styles and colors for summer.
