Father Saleem asks the question -"Do you have Jesus in your boat?" The readings ask us to have faith that Jesus is in "the boat' with us as we journey through the trials and joys of our lives. If we believe and have faith in this we will be saved.

Father Danny Santos reflects on the parable of the sower and the many seeds that we sow as we build the kingdom of God. we may never see the fruit of the seeds that have been sown but we know that we have help create the fertile soil for the seed to grow.

Father John reflects on this week's Gospel reading on how Jesus is giving his final command to the apostles when he says " Go therefore and make disciples to all the nations..." this is the foundation of our mission not only of the church but our own. We are to be Christ for one another, light in the darkness. Father John reflects on his last nine years at St. George parish with thanks and gratitude but also that the parishioners will continue to be the lantern of hope and light and joy in the world.

Father Saleem reflects on this Pentecost Sunday on the fulfillment of the promise that God made to his disciples and to us. He promised that he would send the great comforter to us - the Holy Spirit. In sending the Holy Spirit to us we have been bestowed with the gifts and fruits from the Spirit of which the greatest being love.

During this seventh Sunday of Easter Father John reflects that during Easter we recognize that Jesus triumphed over death to shifting to the fact that he gives us a mission as a Resurrection people to live out and proclaim him as Lord and God in how we live our lives.
