We got video! Clay and Brad go into their first draft and of course it has to be beer for the pod's namesake, talk how much caffeine the guys like to consume, Clay's might be a little much, for a change of pace Clay brings up this episode's "Would you rather...?", and overall they kept it short and simple for the first video version of Basement Brews. Enjoy!
In this episode of Basement Brews, Brad and Clay dive into a couple unique ice breakers, list off their own personal favorite beers, what is an ideal food item for watching any sport, back into some NBA playoffs and the they run into going on a few tangents along the way as usual.
Clay and Brad introduce the pod for what it is, themselves, talk calculus ironically, what's better writing a book or being in a movie, and go into all things NBA playoffs. The audio qualities will get better as well as the overall production of this show, don't you worry. The boys are just getting started.
The long wait is over and RIB is back with a fresh episode! The NBA has a whole new look as players are being moved around, the NFC Least is a dumpster fire of a division and it's good to be back!
The first appearance by Jackie on the podcast was an...interesting one. Safe to say Wawa is the best place on the planet. This pod was a rough one due to the breaking of my mic and learning new information on my camera to be able to take video prhibited me from using it on THIS episode, too. But nevertheless, it was a nice podcast.
The rebrand is complete! That Sport Jawn is dead and the new era of Run It Back is upon us! We gave y'all a look into the changes coming (circumstances for the golf video did not allow us to do that), Jeter vs Schmidt, the NFL had a few shake ups and news last week (Fournette, Sanu, Foles and Trubisky and the Bucs) and threw in some more MLB at the end. As well as this new rebrand and episode in particular is dedicated to Clay's uncle Brent Lebo, may he rest easy watching over Clay's cousin, Easton, race his mini sprint dirt track cars.
El Pres and I get into our own teams, the Yankees and Phillies, and look at how they have performed, or lack there of in the Phillies case. This is Durr's first time on the podcast and cannot wait to have him on, or anyone on for that fact, in person again. The pitching problems of each team reared its ugly head in yesterday's ball game and we look at the next three games to be played between the two teams and we throw in a little hockey talk right in the end. If you hear my dogs, it's just the situation of the times due to covid and staying inside, so I'm sorry but not sorry.
