Hosts Nick Papagni and Josh McGill broadcast with a strong message: 2026 is shaping up to be a major turning point for California agriculture. One of the biggest highlights came from Anaheim, where Papagni attended the American Farm Bureau Federation gathering and spoke with U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins. Rollins made it clear she's paying close attention to California—especially when it comes to regulations, water, labor, and the future of farming in the state. Her visit alone sent a signal that Washington sees California ag as too important to ignore, even with ongoing political tension between state and federal leadership.
