Ao longo desta semana três casos graves de violência contra mulheres em Belo Horizonte chocaram todo o país. Um desses casos foi a morte da capitã da Polícia Militar de Minas Gerais, Michele Leão Azevedo, que foi levada já sem vida para um hospital de BH na última segunda-feira (20). No mesmo dia, uma mulher de 35 anos foi encontrada morta dentro do próprio apartamento, na região Oeste da capital mineira.  Na manhã seguinte, terça-feira (21), uma mulher foi lançada de um prédio pelo próprio companheiro. Apesar da queda, ela sobreviveu.
