CB Joey Porter Jr. met the media on Tuesday and that was his first such session in quite a while. We go over several quotes from Porter and then take another deep dive into his contract extension situation. Alex and I discuss how Porter is really in between a rock and a hard place right now. We also discuss the few options he has moving forward until the regular season gets underway. The Steelers have a long-standing rule of not negotiating contracts once a regular season gets underway. With that being a known fact, Alex and I go over when that rule was put into place and why. We also discuss whether it is indeed archaic and not a benefit to the team in today's NFL landscape.
