A comedy / variety show featuring wacky friends Adam Choit & Michael Firestone about fart jokes, food, music, sports, Borat, everyday people, life, and stuff. (It's about nothing & everything) ✌️❤️
Adam Choit & Michael Firestone
Today Adam's out visiting Idyllwild, California, some 100 miles from Los Angeles... because that's where Michael lives now. Out of the city and into the quaint mountain town, the guys catch up and discuss the state of the podcast, and how the weekend is going so far. Beyond that the guys hit on all sorts of great stuff -- like wearing dress suits with shorts, whether or not wallet photos are still a thing, and when is too late to throw yourself a birthday party after your actual birth date has passed. Idyllwild might be a quiet town, but Adam and Michael have plenty to say. Enjoy.
Your favorite duo returns with an all new episode! They discuss Seinfeld's present-day relevance (among other random topics), before getting into today's featured topic: Michael's recent, and first ever visit to a sensory deprivation float tank. Adam had his first float tank experience not too long ago, so you'll definitely wanna hear what Michael thinks of "the float." There are NO plans for Adam and Michael to float together... But whether you're alone or with other people, hope you enjoy the show!
For their first episode of 2018, to entertain everyone, the guys decided they're going to eat Jelly Belly "Bean Boozled" novelty jelly beans. Michael describes this taste test as playing a type of Russian roulette. Basically, there are 20 flavors in this pack of jelly beans — and the 10 "good" flavors have 10 lookalike "bad" flavors. Is this going to be Lime or Lawn Clippings? Is this one Caramel Corn or Moldy Cheese? You guys are sure to enjoy this at times disgusting, but very fun episode.
It's the holiday season, and Adam and Michael are in the giving spirit… So today they're giving you another super fun "FIBBAGE" episode. For those who might be new to the show, Fibbage is an interactive "lying, bluffing, fib-til-you-win trivia party game." So whether you celebrate Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, none of the above, or all of the above, be sure to come play along and guess what is the truth and what are the lies!
Today you’re in for a special treat as We’re Doin’ It: The Adam & Michael Podcast have guest number one on the show. That’s right, the first guest ever is none other than Kristin Soni- who’s not just Michael’s sister and a mother of two very young boys, but she is also a musician who just put out an album of children’s music called “We Love.” But before she serenades us on the show with her beautiful voice and soulful ukulele accompaniment, we find out just what it was like to grow up under the same roof as Michael, who rather enjoyed grossing out Kristin as a kid… Despite her not having a song about potty training just yet, still definitely come along for a musical journey led Kristin Soni, who gives us an inside look at her writing process and recording process.
This one begins with Adam and Michael discussing all the excitement with their city's baseball team, the Los Angeles Dodgers, currently competing in the World Series vs. the Houston Astros. Even though Adam’s rooting for the Astros, Michael for the Dodgers, and emotions are running high for many baseball fans, the guys remind themselves that it's just "sportz"… and move on to the featured topic, Adam's recent "sensory deprivation float tank" experience, where one essentially chills out and FLOATS in salty water. So, whether you prefer to float with your arms up, out, by your sides, or under your armpits like Adam does, be sure to get into a nice comfortable position while checking out today’s show.
Today's episode in a nutshell is about two things: Michael's recent visit to Denver, Colorado and Adam's new Crock-Pot slow cooker. The first half is about Michael's mountain biking, brewery-touring, Spirit Airline-flying ways. And after the guys discuss real lakes vs. "fake lakes," and wonder if everyone around the world says "jinx," Adam talks about a recent purchase he’s really excited about. Although he's only dipped into making Chicken Teriyaki and Salmon Burgers so far, Michael knows this is only just the beginning of a long, slow cooked journey for Adam.
After a little hiatus, Adam & Michael return with an all new, winging-it style episode today. So, Michael's back living in Los Angeles and Adam's getting over a cold... and after giving us some thoughts on the Dr. Phil "How-bow-dat-cash-me-outside Girl," as well as their thoughts on a possible Home Alone reboot/sequel, Michael walks us through what it was like getting his first ever real massage. And NO… it wasn't THAT kind of massage. But as Michael describes his experience step by step, and the guys go on all sorts of fun tangents, you're sure to have happy beginning, happy middle, and a happy ending while listening along to the show.
Following "The Poop Episode," this week’s show begins with Adam & Michael rather appropriately talking about their latest, mostly self-caused "stomach ailments." Then after giving their thoughts on the big boxing match between mixed martial artist Conor McGregor and boxer Floyd Mayweather, the guys segue into the featured topic… all about Adam’s grandfather, Samuel Robinson aka "Grandpa Sammy." Not just a timeline of a wonderful man’s life from proud US Veteran to world traveler, Adam shares a number of great stories about his relationship with his grandfather, from the time Sammy saved Adam from drowning, to the time he bought Adam and his sister Kit Kats, instead of the requested Tic Tacs (Sammy unfortunately had some trouble hearing). This podcast could never truly do Mr. Robinson justice, but we hope you enjoy a little insight into the life of someone who was a truly wonderful father, son, husband, grandfather, friend, and much, much more.
Today's show begins with Michael sharing the news that he recently made a potentially life-altering purchase... a FANNY PACK. After fanny pack talk, the guys get into the featured topic, which is POOP. Adam and Michael actually begin their discussion of human waste in a rather educational way, as Adam reads from WebMD what different colored poop means for us, health-wise. Next, they shoot the shit (pun intended) about toilet paper, modern toilet technology, bidets, Squatty Potty®, and much, much more. You should have no problem stomaching this episode, but just in case, have those Tums ready to go!
For this one, Adam and Michael are recording in the same room, with Michael visiting Los Angeles and in town for his birthday weekend. With uke in tow, Michael serenades us with his very special version of “Happy Birthday to me” with Adam chipping in on guitar. After a minute of epic jamming, the guys dive into all things fast food, giving us their thoughts on McDonalds, Burger King, In & Out, Wendy’s, and much, much more. Things you’ll hear today: “I think square burgers are okay.” Also: “Where’s the bacon, In & Out?” And of course: “I got sick of the yoga mat bread” …So whether or not you’re getting fries with that, enjoy this fast food show at your own comfortable pace.
Today, the guys overcome their production problems with Michael podcasting from the backseat of his car using his smart phone. From his "studio," he talks about how he recently shared a rather vulnerable photo of himself (in tears!) on his personal social media. Adam reacts to this, and the guys debate whether or not this was a courageous gesture, a cry for attention, both, or something in between. After that, the guys converse about all things "FIBBAGE," which is known as "the lying, bluffing, fib-till-you-win trivia party game." Adam was first introduced to this game at a Super Bowl party earlier this year, right after the despised New England Patriots had their epic, stunning comeback in the game. Playing Fibbage was quite the pick-me-up for Adam, a very sad NY Jets fan who's had his hopes and dreams crushed by Tom Brady and the Patriots too many times to count. So sit back, enjoy the show, and play along, as your hosts re-enact a fun-filled Fibbage game for you!
Today, Adam & Michael recap Adam’s recent visit to see Michael in Seattle, where they had an “epic fail” when it came to trying to record a show in the Emerald City. But despite their Facebook live attempt ALSO falling victim to technical misfortune, the guys still had a great time riding on “Wings Over Washington” and eating roasted grasshoppers at the Mariners/Mets baseball game at Safeco Field. So whether you like your roasted grasshoppers spicy or mild, be sure to get your protein while enjoying this very Seattle-centric show.
Today, Michael makes his triumphant return to the show and tells us he’s feeling much better. He responds to Adam’s solo show about Los Angeles, and mentions some of his own likes and dislikes about the city... After the guys try to figure out how to pronounce "Los Feliz” correctly, they discuss all things PIZZA, including their favorite styles and toppings. They give us their thoughts on “chain” pizza, frozen pizza, and even Vegan and sauceless pizza! So sit back with a hot slice of cheesy-doughy-sauce-y goodness and enjoy the show!
With Michael dealing with bigger fish to fry at the moment (he’s doing much better by the way), today Adam does a solo show, his first ever. Adam talks about the city he lives in, Los Angeles, and addresses a pet peeve of his… people who are overly critical of the city. So sit back and enjoy this abbreviated episode as Adam gives you his thoughts on the weather, the traffic, the people, and all things Los Angeles, California.
With a departure from fart jokes for the time being, today Adam and Michael take on the topic of mental health, as well as depression and anxiety, which Michael has dealt with for much of his life. He’s had a bit of a tough time of it lately, but recently got some help, and wanted to share his story. Hopefully this episode encourages further discussion about the importance of mental health, and encourages anyone who needs help, to get help. The show concludes with Michael performing a heartfelt original song.
In today's episode, Adam and Michael react to the reaction of the first two episodes they released, and talk about how they first met and became friends. Later the guys discuss all things flatulence, and Adam tells a rather embarrassing high school fart story. Michael then performs LIVE, playing ukulele and singing an intro song to "Real Or Fake Fart?"......a pretty self explanatory game. So come play along!
In episode number two, Adam and Michael discuss the NBA finals some, try to figure out just what exactly a Most Valuable Player is, and talk about how Adam likes to scream in his apartment when he sees a vicious slam dunk on TV. From there, basketball talk segues into today's featured topic, the card game "Uno." Adam and Michael discuss all things Uno, including what Michael does that annoys Adam when they play. Michael also shares a childhood Uno story about the time his dad grounded him for cheating at the game!
In their very first episode, meet your hosts Adam Choit and Michael Firestone, and get to know a little bit about them, and what this show will be about. They don't really know what it will be about, but plan to have lots of fun discussing culture, sports, politics, fart jokes, Borat, and life. After some opening banter, they segue into a discussion of how for fun they like to "formalize" names, titles, objects....just about anything. So order yourself a "New Jersey Michael's Submarine Sandwich" and enjoy episode number one!
