President Donald Trump on Wednesday said two U.S. Army aviators “got very lucky” after an AH-64 Apache attack helicopter was downed by Iran over the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing that US retaliation is not over.Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, the president declared, “We hit them hard yesterday and we're going to hit them hard again today.”3. US President Donald Trump said the US would be attacking Iran again on Wednesday, indicating that Tuesday night's strikes against the regime were only the first part of Washington's retaliation against the Islamic Republic for shooting down an American military helicopter near the Strait of Hormuz.4. Far Left & Right Dominate Another Rigged Primary Day. Knicks/Spurs Back at MSG. Hilton Beats Steyer in CA. Jimi Hendrix Gets His Way. It's a Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Wednesday and Paul is sounding the alarm. Game four of the NBA Finals tips off tonight at Madison Square Garden, but the real story is bigger than basketball. A Spurs fan got jumped in New York. Young men across America are jobless, hopeless, and furious. Trump has already named New York and Chicago as cities he wants to send troops into. Steve Bannon is calling ICE airport operations a dress rehearsal for the fall elections. And Pete Hegseth just flew to Gitmo with conspiracy-pusher Laura Loomer in tow — not the Washington Post, not even Fox — because Cuba is next and they aren't even hiding it. Paul connects the dots between a potentially violent summer at home, CENTCOM's ongoing strikes inside Iran, the rigged primary system that just disenfranchised hundreds of thousands of independents in California and Maine, and the open primaries fight quietly unfolding in Lower Manhattan under Mamdani's new charter commission. This is a no-BS warning to the angry middle: stay out of the fistfights, stay out of the extremist groups, look out for the young men in your life, and refuse to give Trump the excuse he's desperate for. In this episode Gary Mansfield speaks to Louis Wootton-Davies (@LouisWDavies) Louis Wootton-Davies is an artist whose work is shaped by memory, curiosity and the hidden histories of everyday places. A recurring influence throughout his practice is his father, who owned a scrap car yard and worked hard to provide greater opportunities for his children. Visits to the yard were rare, making those occasions all the more significant. For the young Louis, the site felt both mysterious and captivating: a landscape of twisted metal, discarded objects and untold stories. That sense of fascination has remained an underlying focus within his work. The scrap yard existed as a place that was familiar yet largely inaccessible, encouraging a lasting interest in what lies behind closed doors and beyond immediate understanding. Through his art, Louis explores themes of labour, value, transformation and memory, often drawing attention to overlooked materials and environments. His practice reflects a continuing engagement with the intrigue surrounding his father's world, translating childhood impressions into thoughtful and evocative contemporary artworks. Chris Boyer and Reed Smith walk through why the gap is structural rather than a marketing problem, then close with David Middendorf at Monigle on what Volume 9 actually says about where consumers are right now. Why engagement in health and engagement with healthcare have decoupled, and what the avoidance number among the most engaged segment actually means The structural reasons the operating model can't win this space, from P&L logic to service-line measurement to where wellness programs sit on the org chart The DTC and subscription brands that took categories that used to be referrals inside a health system, and built continuous relationships around them Why a majority of consumers now believe a technology company is more likely to revolutionize healthcare than a traditional system or provider Trust, local knowledge, the provider relationship, the clinical record, and what it would take to actually deploy those as competitive advantages David Middendorf on the "window not a wave" framing, AI as connective tissue for what Monigle calls a Living System of Experiences, and the three keys to the future: listening, personalization, wellness David Middendorf leads the Humanizing Brand Experience research at Monigle. Volume 9 is the ninth annual installment of the firm's flagship study of healthcare consumer behavior. He joins the show to walk through what the new data is saying and what health system brand and experience leaders should do about it. If your strategy deck still treats the space between sick visits as future state, the disruption has already happened and you missed it.
