Once again our talented broadcasters were given the most amazing opportunity to broadcast live from the show floor at the world's biggest IT Education exhibition, BETT, at London's ExCEL. Working alongside the fantastic Russell Prue from Anderton Tiger Broadcasting, and taking over the official BETT radio station for over an hour, these children excelled and could not have made me more proud. Professional, confident and full f personality. This was a show to remember. Our huge thanks to Russell and everyone at NetSupport for making us so welcome.

Part of our excellent inter-generational links with the community, the children interviewed residents Pat, Anna and Sylvia about their time living abroad and it was a pleasure to listen to them speak and share their memories. Today saw the return of Westwood Radio for 2019-20 with another cracking live show and a brand new Thursday team. Outstanding performances from everyone and fantastic scripting. It's hard to believe this was their first show together and for some, their first show ever!
This afternoon we welcomed Al Kingsley, CEO of Netsupport Group, to the Westwood Radio studio. Al kindly visited us for the day and the children took the opportunity to chat with Al about technology in education, his inspiration and many developments within Netsupport, plus of course radio. We had a wonderful time and are grateful to Al for the time, experience and discussion we had with him.
Our very last Friday show of the year came live from Wiltshire Heights Residential Care Home. Once again we had great fun entertaining and involving the residents in a live show and we have thoroughly enjoyed our collaboration with them this year.
After getting our Innovation in Music project off to such a fantastic start, today we performed three songs that we have been learning as a school to a packed audience of parents and invited guests, who all loved it! As part of the Westwood Scarecrow Trail 2019, we broadcast a live 2 hour show from the school car park. During the show we spoke to some trailgoers, presented features and school pre-records and had some great chat and off-script discussion in a style of show we've not tried before.
