Today's Promise: 2 Corinthians 12:9 The Apostle Paul was in a particularly difficult time in his life. He had prayed and prayed for God to remove a problem or weakness he experienced. God's grace in your life strengthens and empowers you. We pray for God to remove or resolve the problems we face. Sometimes God's answer is not to remove the problem but to give you His strength and power to go through the situation. God says His power, combined with your weakness, is the perfect formula for His glory. Whatever you are facing today, God's grace is enough.

God designs suffering not only as a way to wean Christians off of self and onto grace, but also as a way to spotlight that grace and make it shine.
Many people want the courage of Joshua. But Joshua’s courage didn’t come from within himself. It came from knowing God and trusting in His promises!

Sometimes God makes seemingly strong people weaker so that his divine power will be the more evident.

Suffering happens to everyone. We have hope in God's power to strengthen us.
As the Body of Christ, we must not forget about grace. Sometimes, in our understanding of the magnitude of mercy, we lose sight of what grace has done and continues to do in us. Using the Parable of the Prodigal Son, Havilah Cunnington delivers a powerful message on the grace of God and the manifestation of its unmerited favor in our lives. Be transformed and mentally renewed by this reminder of undeserved blessing.

Main Idea: God’s Blueprint for Transformation is to be still to know that God is in control. Extra Credit: 1. Reflection Question: Can you give up control to God? To let go and allow God be God? 2. Take time this week to examine your life to identify what you are worried about, anxious over or even afraid of. And in prayer tell God that you will be still specifically over this matter and let him be God. See what happens, and share with someone later your story of giving up control to God.

The Lord's Prayer provides a Pattern. So our prayer should start with us coming to God with praise & worship. Derek & Hilary share on HALLOWING His NAME, especially in connection with 3 NAMES of God: Elohim (Creator), Adonai (Lord and Master), and El Shaddai (the God who is more than enough).

Pastor Staten's message this morning is entitled "The Cross that Jesus died on." Pastor talks about his trip to Tblisi, Republic of Georgia to visit missionary and son, Jared and family. God has declared that He will build his church upon a rock and hell will not be able to conquer it. The events of today instill fear in us. Find your comfort in the words that Jesus has spoken. The cross is a principle for life. He gave himself upon the cross so that others may live.
