In this episode of Faith Talks, Anna Faith Fuller interviews Terrilaina Gillmore about her journey of faith, missions, and surrender to God's will. From her salvation as a young girl to her burden for orphans and medical missions, Teri shares how God used His Word, missions trips, and even painful trials to make His calling clear. Her testimony challenges young ladies to stop chasing the easy road and instead follow the fulfilling road of knowing God, hearing His voice, and stepping forward in faith. Topics Discussed Teri's salvation testimony and early desire to know God through His Word How missions trips shaped her view of the world and burden for others Her heart for orphans and how nursing became part of that calling Lessons learned through medical ministry in Ghana How God used an injury in Papua New Guinea to confirm His direction The sufficiency of God's grace in moments of weakness The danger of worldly voices crowding out God's Word Why young ladies must make clear decisions to follow God's will The difference between an easy life and a fulfilling life Key Takeaways God's will is not always easy, but it is always fulfilling. Weakness does not disqualify you from usefulness; it may be the very place where God shows His strength. God often uses trials to clarify His direction in your life. Young people must intentionally silence competing voices if they want to hear God clearly. Time in God's Word transforms your desires, decisions, and direction. The world is not neutral, so passive Christianity is not safe Christianity. God wants to use surrendered young people in ways far bigger than they realize. While the world celebrates Pride Month, Christians must be careful not to focus on one visible sin while becoming blind to the pride, immorality, drunkenness, gossip, dishonesty, and worldliness that often exist in our own lives. God calls His people not to celebrate or excuse sin, but to expose the deeds of darkness and find their identity, confidence, and joy in Jesus Christ alone. The rainbow is not a symbol of human pride, but God's covenant, faithfulness, and mercy toward a fallen world.

Unlike other leaders, their personal and professional lives are inseparable, so any perceived weakness can feel like a threat to their credibility and calling. What do you do when Jesus says something you don't understand? In Episode 166 of the 2 Minute Disciple podcast, we reflect on John 6:60–65, where even Jesus' disciples struggle to accept His teaching. Their response is honest: “This is very hard to understand. Who can accept it?” Rather than softening His message, Jesus points them toward a greater reality and reminds them that true understanding comes through the Holy Spirit. This contemplative devotional explores the tension between faith and understanding, the temptation to walk away from difficult teachings, and the invitation to remain with Jesus even when His words challenge us. Through guided prayer, Scripture meditation, and spiritual reflection, you'll be encouraged to trust God's Spirit when your mind cannot yet fully grasp what Christ is saying. Whether you're wrestling with doubt, confusion, or a difficult passage of Scripture, this episode offers a gentle reminder that faithfulness often begins by staying with Jesus through the hard things.
Spiritual Authority: The Lie That Keeps Christians PowerlessIn this continuing series on Spiritual Authority, Terry and Reneé Mize tackle one of the most common beliefs in Christianity and examine it through the lens of Scripture. Many believers have heard the phrase, “God is in control,” but what does the Bible actually teach about authority, responsibility, and dominion in the earth?Beginning in Genesis and continuing throughout Scripture, Terry explains how misunderstanding spiritual authority can lead believers into passivity, confusion, and frustration. When Christians fail to understand what God has delegated to mankind, they often blame God for things He never intended. In this episode, you'll discover:• Why spiritual authority matters • What God delegated to mankind • The difference between God's sovereignty and man's responsibility • Why misunderstanding authority can produce powerless living • How Scripture reveals God's original plan for dominionThis eye-opening teaching continues building the foundation for understanding how spiritual authority operates and why believers must know what God has already provided through His Word.Scriptures discussed: Genesis 1, Genesis 2, and additional passages regarding authority, dominion, and responsibility.
In this episode of The Prophetic Voice of Our Time, Pastor Cristina Sosso discusses the winds of change sweeping across the world and the church. She shares updates on the recent earthquake devastation in the Philippines, reflects on God's sovereignty during times of upheaval, and teaches on the emerging role of apostles and prophets in the body of Christ. Discover how believers can navigate change with faith, trust God's plan, and prepare for the next move of His Spirit.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Many Christians know the truth but struggle to trust it when life gets hard. In this episode, Jon Ellis explores the gap between what we know and what we actually trust, and why that gap often leaves believers feeling spiritually frustrated. Discover why information alone doesn't transform us, how trust is built, and why faith becomes real when God becomes the first place we run. You know God is faithful. You know God is good. You know God is for you. So why doesn't your faith always feel real? In UNC039, Jon Ellis exposes the hidden trust problem behind spiritual frustration. Most Christians don't have an information problem, they have a trust problem. This episode reveals why truth can feel real in your head but hollow in your chest, and how learning to trust God changes everything.
My Sheep Know My Voice: The Good Shepherd Continued – John 10:22–42 In Episode 140 of Divine Table Talk, Jamie and Jane continue their journey through John 10 as Jesus boldly reveals His identity during the Feast of Dedication. In John 10:22–42, Jesus declares that His sheep hear His voice, He knows them, and no one can snatch them from His hand. As opposition intensifies, Jesus continues to point people to the evidence of His works and His unity with the Father. This passage is a powerful reminder of the security, assurance, and intimacy believers have in Christ. Together, Jamie and Jane explore what it means to recognize the Shepherd's voice, trust His leadership, and rest in the confidence that we belong to Him. Whether you're struggling with doubt, seeking direction, or longing for deeper intimacy with God, this conversation will encourage you to listen closely to the voice of the One who calls you by name. What if communion was never meant to be a lifeless ritual, but a living encounter with the Person of Love Himself? In this episode, Dr. Catherine Toon invites you back into the early church’s lost revelation of communion as intimacy, union, and shared life with Christ and one another. As Catherine shares vulnerably from her own journey out of religious burnout, she unpacks how religion has toxified powerful spiritual practices, like communion, and how Jesus gently restores them as gifts to nourish your body, soul, and spirit. You’ll discover that communion is not about performing for God or “qualifying” yourself, but about receiving the finished work of Christ and remembering that you are already included in the circle of Love. In this episode, you’ll learn: - How the early church practiced communion as a joyful “love feast,” not a cold, symbolic exercise - Why communion is meant to be a living encounter with Christ’s presence, not a fear-based check-box - How to move from complacency and religious trauma into real intimacy and union with God - Why communion proclaims Jesus’ finished work over your shame, unworthiness, and exhaustion - How to begin reclaiming communion in your everyday life—slow, tender, and deeply personal with Jesus Whether you’ve been hurt by religion, feel disconnected from church, or simply hunger for a deeper experience of God’s love, this conversation will help you rediscover communion as a doorway into the heart of the Trinity. You’re not on the outside trying to get in—you’re already welcomed to the table. Send us Fan Mail In this second episode of our Loud Longings series, we explore how cravings are often about much more than food. What looks like a desire for sugar, bread, or chocolate can sometimes point to a deeper longing for comfort, safety, peace, or connection. We begin with a simple breath prayer from Psalm 139—“Search me and know me”—and invite ourselves into a posture of curiosity instead of self-judgment. Together, we discuss how emotionally charged cravings can carry memories, grief, and unmet needs, and why understanding the story behind them can open the door to greater compassion. We also share personal experiences with food and stress, reflecting on how Jesus meets us with tenderness in our places of need. Looking at His ministry around tables and His invitation as the Bread of Life and Living Water, we consider what it means to seek deeper nourishment when cravings become overwhelming. If a nostalgic craving surfaces this week, try pausing and asking, “What story is attached to this?” Then pray, “Jesus, meet me inside of this memory, meet me here.” Subscribe for the rest of this series, share this with a friend who feels stuck, and if it helps, leave a review, so more listeners can find hope and freedom.Support the showLearn more about our Revelation Within Community: https://www.revelationwithin.org
Today on Uncommon Sense, we're discussing the tragic state of the modern world. From the protests in Ireland to growing frustration across Western nations, many people feel as though their voices are no longer being heard by the institutions that claim to represent them. I'll share why I support the right of people to protest and why I believe the demonstrations in Ireland have resonated with so many people around the world. We'll also discuss what I see as a deeper spiritual crisis affecting modern society. Many of the political, cultural, and social problems we face today are symptoms of a broader moral and spiritual decline, one that cannot be solved through politics alone. In this episode:My thoughts on the protests in IrelandWhy so many citizens now feel disconnected from their governmentsThe growing divide between ordinary people and powerful institutionsThe role of faith, morality, and personal responsibility in rebuilding societyWhy I believe many of today's crises point to a deeper spiritual battleWhether you agree or disagree, this episode is an invitation to think critically about the direction of our culture, our governments, and our future.--https://www.youversion.com/bible-app

In Totality Podcast is back this week with a powerful conversation with Laurie Krieg on sexuality, surrender, marriage, parenting, and the love of God.As parents, many of us feel anxious or unprepared when it comes to conversations around sexuality, puberty, pornography, identity, and culture. Laurie gives such practical wisdom on how to talk to our children with truth, grace, clarity, and love without panic or shame.Laurie shares her testimony of wrestling with same-sex attraction, sexual brokenness, shame, and the deeper longings beneath desire: the need to be seen, known, chosen, and loved. Together, we talk about how those longings are ultimately met in Jesus, and how God's love does not just expose what is broken, but empowers us to surrender, heal, and walk in freedom. This episode is for anyone who has struggled with shame, anyone who wants to better love people without compromising truth, and any parent, mentor, aunt, uncle, youth leader, or discipler aiming to guide the next generation with a gospel-centered view of sexuality.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Have you ever felt exhausted from constantly thinking about how you're doing, how you're perceived, what you're accomplishing, or whether you're enough? If we're honest, most of us live there more often than we'd like to admit. This week on The Love Offering Podcast, I sat down with author Morgan Krueger to talk about her new book, Made to Magnify: Choosing to Live for Jesus When Everything Tells You to Live for Yourself. Together, we explored a truth that feels both challenging and freeing: the more focused we become on ourselves, the more anxious, insecure, and unsatisfied we often feel. In a culture that constantly tells us to build our own platform, protect our image, and chase self-fulfillment, Morgan offers a refreshing invitation to lift our eyes and fix them on Jesus instead. In this episode, you'll discover: • Why self-focus often leads to anxiety, comparison, and striving• The three struggles that commonly keep us stuck: pride, fear, and doubt• How confession, community, and God's Word help us break free from isolation• Simple ways to magnify Jesus in everyday life• Why the small, unseen acts of faithfulness matter more than we realize• How Mary's words, "My soul magnifies the Lord," can become our daily prayer If you've been feeling weary from carrying the weight of proving yourself, performing for others, or trying to control every outcome, I believe this conversation will encourage your heart. Friend, you were never created to make your own name great. You were created to magnify His. And as you do, you'll discover the joy, peace, and purpose your heart has been longing for all along. Have you ever been angry at God and didn't know if that was allowed? Have you sat in church smiling while internally asking why He felt so far away? Have you prayed the same prayer for years and still heard nothing — and quietly started to wonder if any of it was even working? This is Episode 4 of our mini-series — Things Christian Women Don't Say Out Loud — and we saved this one for last on purpose. Because this one is the deepest. And the most personal. In this episode, Tayler, Alora, and Mary go to the places most Christian podcasts won't. The doubt. The unanswered prayers. The seasons where God went completely silent and they didn't know what to do with that. The bitterness of watching someone else receive the miracle you prayed for. The anger they were afraid to admit even to themselves. This is the faith episode. And it is the most honest one yet.In this episode we talk about:Doubt as a doorway — not a dead endWhat to do when God feels completely silentPraying for your husband's safety every deployment and still living in fear every single dayThe prayers that felt unanswered and what that did to our faithBeing angry at God — and whether that's allowed (spoiler: it is)What faith actually looks like inside a military life full of uncertaintyHow to worship God through genuine bitternessComing out of the hardest season still standing — and still believingScripture anchor: Habakkuk 3:17-18 — "Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines... yet I will rejoice in the Lord."Whether you are a lifelong woman of faith or you are somewhere in the middle of the hardest wrestling match of your spiritual life — you are safe here.Bring your questions. Bring your doubt. Bring the things you have never said out loud. Because we believe that is exactly where the real thriving begins.
What do ten virgins waiting on a bridegroom and a desperate widow gathering empty vessels have in common? Oil—and more importantly, readiness. In this episode, we connect Matthew 25:1–13 and 2 Kings 4:1–7 to uncover a powerful truth: what you have prepared in private determines what you experience when the moment comes. Some had lamps but no oil. One had a little oil but many empty vessels. One group was shut out, while the other overflowed. The difference? Preparation, obedience, and faith. This episode challenges us to ask: Do I have oil—or just appearance?

Samuel Goulet teaches from Daniel 1, showing how believers can live for Christ without compromise in a world that constantly pressures them to conform. Through Daniel's example, this episode calls listeners to stay rooted in their identity in Christ, reject the values of the world, and walk in holiness, wisdom, and courage. It's a powerful reminder that following Christ faithfully means standing firm in His truth while still living with love and honor toward others.

Send us Fan MailTreatment Website:https://ambio.life/Documentary: https://www.inwavesandwarfilm.com/A lot of people talk about PTSD like it's only flashbacks and bad dreams. Bill describes something darker and quieter: sitting in church, worshiping, and still getting hit with suicidal ideation so loud it feels like a command. He's a professional counselor who works mostly with veterans, and he's also a pastor, which makes his story even harder to ignore. He knows the clinical language, the coping patterns, and the church expectations and he admits what it's like to keep it together at work while falling apart at home. The conversation turns when Bill sees a friend return from Mexico after a medically supervised psychedelic-assisted treatment for PTSD and substance use. That friend looks different: sober, steadier, and more alive. Bill takes us through the questions Christians ask about mind-altering substances, the scriptures he wrestles with, and why “controlled treatment” isn't the same thing as self-medicating. He also talks about spiritual preparation, prayer, and staying grounded in faith inside a space that often mixes New Age ceremony, breathwork, and alternative healing language. From screening, EKGs, and medication restrictions to sweat lodges, ibogaine, and 5-MeO-DMT, Bill breaks down what the process actually looks like and what it cost him emotionally. He shares the trauma that surfaced, the way control kept showing up as the real battle, and the moment he felt God push him to stop hiding who he is. On the other side, he reports concrete changes: no suicidal ideation, better sleep, fewer intrusive images, less anger, and a renewed daily routine that protects his marriage and his mind. He and his father clarified expectations early, ensuring unity and avoiding confusion about leadership. Most importantly, they prioritized their relationship over their roles, keeping “father and son” first. This foundation created trust, freedom, and mutual respect. Through ongoing communication, they navigated differences in leadership style, with Chantry learning to build on his father's legacy rather than imitate it, allowing him to lead authentically without dishonor.Purchase Christian Leader Sight Planner (a tool that has drastically changed Ryan's productivity): Black Cover – https://amzn.to/3JpBHvm Blue Cover – https://amzn.to/4ouFRB9 Green Cover – https://amzn.to/4oXVLUr Purchase The Christian Leader Blueprint book today: https://www.ryanfranklin.org/blueprintbookDownload The Christian Leader Blueprint – Short Guide (Free): https://www.ryanfranklin.org/blueprint Take the Christian Leader® Self-Assessment (Free):https://www.ryanfranklin.org/clselfassessment Learn more about Christian Leader® Community Coaching:https://www.ryanfranklin.org/communitycoaching YouTube and Audio Podcast: https://www.ryanfranklin.org/leaderpodcast Connect with Ryan: Email: info@ryanfranklin.org Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/rnfranklin/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/rnfranklin/ Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/rnfranklin/ Audio mastering by Apostolic Audio: https://www.apostolic-audio.com#leadership, #thoughtleadership, #ministry, #pastor, #pastors, #churches, #leadershiptraining, #churchleader, #churchleaders, #influence, #leadershipdevelopment, #coaching, #executivecoach, #leadershipcoaching, #productivitycoach, #productivity, #growthmindset, #theproductiveleader, #ChristianLeader, #ChristianLeadership, #LeadershipPodcast, #FaithAndBusiness, #PodcastInterview, #ChristianEntrepreneurship, #KingdomImpact, #PodcastInspiration, #LeadershipJourney, #PurposeDriven, #ChristianPodcast, #LeadershipEssentials, #LeadershipFundamentalsSend us Fan Mail

What does it look like to stay planted in Jesus when life feels uncertain, uncomfortable, or costly? In episode one of our Summer Recap Series, Shelley Giglio sits down with Grammy Award-winning songwriter, worship leader, and longtime friend Brooke Ligertwood to talk about anointing, obedience, creativity, and surrender. Together, they explore the weight and wonder of being entrusted with God's calling… and how true freedom is often found not in striving, but in faithfully staying with Jesus one day at a time. Brooke shares personal stories about discovering songwriting at a young age, stewarding creativity through both worship, and learning that the goal of her life isn't success or recognition, but simply to remain close to Jesus. Shelley and Brooke also reflect on the beauty of being “good trees” – rooted, nourished, and trusting God alone with the fruit their lives produce. This conversation is for anyone who feels stretched, misunderstood, weary, or unsure of what obedience looks like in this season. You'll walk away encouraged to stay planted, take heart, and trust God with the outcome! If you want more from Brooke, you can find her at @brookeligertwood on Instagram or www.brookeligertwood.com. Send us Fan MailIn this first episode of our Loud Longings series, we explore a different way of looking at longing. Instead of treating it as a problem to fix, we ask what if that ache is actually pointing us toward something deeper. We share a simple breath prayer—“Lord Jesus” on the inhale, “meet me in my longing” on the exhale—and reflect on Psalm 42, where the psalmist openly acknowledges a deep thirst for God. Together, we consider how spiritual longing is not something to fear, but a part of how we were created. We also talk about the connection between longing, emotional eating, compulsive behaviors, and other ways we try to numb discomfort. Rather than asking, “What's wrong with me?” we invite a more honest question: “What am I truly longing for right now?” Looking at Jesus' encounter with the Samaritan woman in John 4, we see how He meets thirsty people with compassion and offers Himself as the source of lasting satisfaction. We discuss common substitutes such as food, scrolling, busyness, achievement, control, and even ministry activity, and offer a simple practice for when cravings get loud: pause, notice, and pray, “Jesus, meet me here.”If you want a Christian podcast approach to cravings, shame resilience, and deeper intimacy with God, press play. Have you ever found yourself replaying someone else's words, assuming they were judging you? Or maybe you've caught yourself criticizing someone in your mind, convinced you're seeing the situation clearly. If so, you're not alone. This week on The Love Offering Podcast, I sat down with my friend Shannon Popkin to discuss her new book, Kinda Judgy: Finding Mercy for Myself and Others in Six Stories of the Bible. Together, we explored a topic that many of us struggle with but rarely talk about openly—judgment. What if the criticism we feel from others is often rooted in our own insecurities? What if the harsh standards we apply to others reveal places in our own hearts that need God's healing mercy? Through powerful stories like Jonah, the thief on the cross, and the woman caught in adultery, Shannon reminds us that while God is a righteous Judge, He is also abundantly merciful. His mercy changes how we see ourselves and how we see others. One of my favorite takeaways from our conversation was this: we often feel judged and become judgy in response. But Jesus shows us a different way. Though He was wrongly judged, He responded with compassion, forgiveness, and grace. In this episode, you'll discover: • Why judgment and insecurity are often connected• How contempt quietly damages our relationships• What Jonah's story reveals about our own hearts• How God's mercy transforms the way we treat others• Why the cross is the ultimate picture of love and compassion Friend, if you've ever struggled with being critical of yourself or others, this conversation will encourage you and point you back to the heart of God. Students risk losing up to 40% of their learning over summer break (Atteberry and McEachin). In 2020 two researched looked at 200 million test scores from 18 million students across all 50 states over an 8 year period (2008-2016).The take away: The Summer Slip is real, and it can be neutralized with just 15 minutes of reading and math each day. Parents, we don't have to run a boot camp, but we have the opportunity to keep learning engagement high. Let's make school as fun and accessible as possible for our children. Let's do it 15 minutes a day this summer and stop the Summer Slip.Show Notes: https://bit.ly/49wWoiF

Romans 12:19 reminds us that vengeance belongs to God. But that does not mean Christians are called to be passive. There is a difference between seeking justice and seeking revenge. We're discussing how to release anger, avoid bitterness, seek God's wisdom, and allow Him to lead the strategy when we have been wronged.
