Our first cast this episode of TBF is with Matt Hansen from the Central West chapter of OZfish Unlimited with great news on Burrendong and the Macquarie River. Unfortunately the biggest freshwater fishing gathering in NSW, the Burrendong Classic, has had to be postponed due to COVID-19. Monaro Acclimatisation Society spokesperson Steve Samuels joins us to talk about the feral horse problem in the Snowy Mountains where, he says, beautiful alpine streams at the top of Tantangara have been "trampled into oblivion and are gone forever". He believes something has to be done about the numbers of feral horses in the park or more native fish and trout habitat will be "irreparably" damaged.Stinker shares the story of the fisherman who drop kicked the frozen chicken and Andy Thomsen teaches us how to make fish crackling on The Big Fish.

The Big Fish and the angling community have lost a great man with the passing of our beloved Big Fish regular Snapper. Bryan did so much for fishing in the ACT and Snowy Mountains region and Steve Samuels from the Monaro Acclimatisation Society says local fisher people owe him a huge debt of gratitude. Our first cast this episode comes from the Whitsundays where 2 people have been bitten by sharks in the space of 2 days. Whitsunday Islands fishing guide Andy Thomsen shares his thoughts on the attacks and has been saddened by the wanton killing of protected Tiger Sharks in the aftermath.
