Understand what productizing your offer means and how you can apply it Find out how your ego can make or break your business and your sales flow Learn why you should narrow down your offers instead of trying to cater everyone's problems Resources/Links: Want to know more ways on how you can grow? Click here: linktr.ee/tristanwright Summary Do you want to stop being scared and start productizing your offers for a guaranteed continuous flow of income? You can't always be giving a custom solution to everyone's problems– it's just never going to work. You got to think of a solution that you can rinse and repeat anytime anywhere. Tristan Wright is the Chief Business Sherpa at Evolve to Grow and is the Creator of “The Business Evolution Framework”. He is a 7-figure business owner himself and his model has changed the lives of busy entrepreneurs across the globe, taking them from feeling like they are running on a business hamster wheel to being able to work by choice. Tristan shares with you a piece of his cake on how you can secure clients without stress and constant customization by taking action through productizing your offer. Check out these episode highlights: 01:29 - Tristan's ideal client: Well, ideal clients are B2B service-based business owners, typically those who have a creative streak. So, people that like to customize their offers, and be creative. 02:05 - The problem he helps solve: We're talking today about productizing your offer, but at the end of the day, my ultimate objective is to help business owners run profitable businesses without their daily inputs. 03:56 - The symptoms of the problem: Most of the time, they're probably going to be working after five or 6 pm. They're going to be going home having dinner and then after dinner, asking all their email questions from clients for custom bespoke things and clients following up saying, "Why are you doing this? Or why are we doing it this way? Let's change this." 04:49 - Clients' common mistakes before consulting Tristan: The biggest mistake is not taking action. It's being scared that if they change their business model into a productized offer, they'll lose clients. 05:40 - Tristan's Valuable Free Action (VFA): Don't try and be everything to everyone. Narrow down your offering, become the best in the world at one thing for one market, and let everyone know that that's what you are. 06:15 - Tristan's Valuable Free Resource (VFR): Want to know more ways on how you can grow? Click here: linktr.ee/tristanwright 07:01 - Q: What does the impact of ego have on your business? A: We need to park our ego just because we've done something our own way doesn't mean it's the best way. We need support from others. "I hear you, but I don't quite understand you." "If your auditory system works like a computer, your ears are the hardware, and your brain is the software. Even when the ears hear normally, errors in the software (the processing) can interfere with understanding or remembering what was heard. This is called Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) and often leaves sufferers feeling isolated and disconnected. Of the approximately 6% of the population struggling with APD, most don't even know it's a disorder. The good news is that with specialized audiologist help, dramatic improvement in auditory processing is possible.Dr Angela Loucks Alexander, Audiologist, has spent fifteen years specializing in diagnosing and treating Auditory Processing Disorder (APD), a hearing difficulty with less to do with the ears and more to do with the brain. Despite significantly affecting potential and well-being, many of those affected are unaware of the condition, let alone their treatment options. Angela is the host of Between Two Ears podcast and founder of the Auditory Processing Institute, where she trains audiologists and speech-language pathologists to provide APD services. It has been years since I have set ‘goals.' The thought of setting another income goal, or health goal, or business goal I find draining, repetitive and boring. Goals are often confused with targets. Nothing wrong with targets if they help you focus, so go for it if it works for you. What if instead we did this ONE new thing? This ONE new thing beautifully fulfils one our most important needs: our need for growth. This is our perpetual need. Without growth we die. Nothing stays still for very long. Everything in the universe without exception is expanding or shrinking, breathing out or breathing in, green and growing or ripe and rotting. The precursor to growth is uncertainty. Uncertainty is presented to us in various forms. It can be experienced in an array of flavours and colours. It can be experienced by embracing (instead of resisting) challenges presented to us. It can be invited into our lives as a form of adventure, or for some of us in the form of variety and the wide choices and experiences this brings. The richer our lives are in uncertainty, or challenge or adventure or variety the more we grow. The more we grow, the more we are fulfilled, the deeper the fulfilment the fuller we live. Life lived fuller does not mean faster, it means deeper. Now, what is the ONE THING which can massively impact 2023 and take us to places we don't even know exist? (Sounds more exciting than a weight goal or a money goal….) Before we get to that, we need to embrace something important. We need to embrace courage. The courage to be loyal to our values, the courage to love, the courage to be vulnerable, the courage to live life deep, the courage to step into your truth, the courage to be you. Wow…this sounds like a lot! Well, it may seem that way but if we do this ONE THING we automatically take care of all these various expressions of courage. Here's the ONE THING

Interview by Kris PetersSunshine Coast based metal outfit Dying Sun are seasoned enough musicians to understand the notion that sometimes you don't have to go like a bull at a gate to make an impact.Often it is more beneficial to step back, take stock, and assess the landscape before rushing in.Comprised of current and former members of bands like Misery, Laceration Mantra and Motorized, the musical pedigree spread throughout the band members is the perfect platform from which to launch a sustained and, more importantly, successful career. After recently releasing their second album Black Coven, Dying Sun also took to the road for the first time as a band, playing with PistonFist and Lucifungus across three dates covering the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Despite the sudden rush of activity vocalist Matt D stresses Dying Sun are still very much a work in progress, especially for the near future as Misery hit the road for an anniversary tour.Matt sat down with HEAVY to tell us more, starting with the early reception for Black Coven."We've got lots of good feedback so far," he smiled. "It's pretty early days, but we're happy with the feedback. We got some really good feedback from a couple of peeps about the sound of the album."Of course, if people are saying good things about the album then it has a lot to do with the musical component on the finished product, with Matt delving a little deeper into what Dying Sun were actually going for sonically."We didn't have any big plans for it," he measured, "apart from we wanted it to be better than the first album, of course, which is probably what every band says (laughs). I just wanted it to sound a little more cohesive, particularly moving between the songs and the dynamic of the album. We feel like we've got a pretty good dynamic range happening there amongst the songs, with different topics and different sounds."In the full interview, Matt talks more about Black Coven, how it differs musically to their debut album DoomdayCometh, the fantastic artwork, what each band member brings to Dying Sun based on their experience in other bands, the staggered release schedule of Black Coven and why they chose to do it that way, finding the balance in music and more.

For the full episode head over to the Brewery Pro Podcast. Recently on Radio Brews News we discussed the Sunshine Coast's beer-focused campaign, through which the regional tourism body is promoting Queensland's Sunshine Coast as a craft beer destination to encourage tourism to the region. It makes the cheeky claim to be Australia's Craft Beer Capital. The campaign has sparked plenty of discussion in beer circles about whether the craft beer capital claim is reasonable but the point is, it's sparked discussion about beer. It's also arguably the most significant pro-brewery campaign that has been run by any organisation in the country. It also includes its own podcast series, Pursuit of Hoppiness. And that is a great thing for the entire industry, especially as it would appear to have spawned an “us too” campaign from South East Queensland's other coast, the Gold Coast, which would appear to have put some resources into promoting its breweries since its beachy competitor's campaign began. This can only be good for the industry. As such a significant campaign, we wanted to find out what the tourism body saw of value in the brewing industry where others have overlooked it. We also wanted to hear of the insights into the campaign, and importantly, how other brewing regions can engage with their local tourism body to drive interest in their breweries. We reached out to Kellly Ryan, the Sunshine Coast's Head of Marketing for her insights into the campaign. Kelly is responsible for overseeing the organisation's promotion and advertising efforts to build awareness of the Sunshine Coast and lure more visitors to the destination. As you'll hear she has a wealth of tourism marketing knowledge, drawing on extensive experience with Canberra's major tourism body and major national attractions.  There's a lot to learn about beer tourism in this BreweryPro episode.

Overview Before turning to fiction, Ken MacQueen spent 15 years as Vancouver bureau chief for Maclean's, Canada's newsmagazine, winning multiple National Magazine Awards and nominations. He travelled the world writing features and breaking news for the magazine, and previously for two national news agencies. He has written extensively on crime, politics, disasters, both natural and man-made—and, being Canadian, on the shifting fortunes of Queen Elizabeth II and her clan. All of this is potential fodder for future fiction, though the Queen as action hero seems unlikely. MacQueen covered nine Olympic Games and drew the athletic prowess of Jake Ockham, his protagonist, from tracking elite rowers in training and on podiums in Athens, Beijing and London. Hero Haters, set in the Pacific Northwest and rural Pennsylvania, is his debut thriller. He and his wife divide their time between North Vancouver and British Columbia's Sunshine Coast. Ken also wanted to pass along the link for the writer's police academy. https://writerspoliceacademy.com His Book https://www.amazon.com/Hero-Haters-Ken-MacQueen-ebook/dp/B0B6T12613?crid=1FSSNMCC0HXNJ&keywords=hero+haters+ken+mcqueen&qid=1668109710&sprefix=hero+haters+ken+mcqueen%2Caps%2C93&sr=8-1-fkmr1&linkCode=li2&tag=discoveredwordsmiths-20&linkId=55dcadc6127b3688d4a32bc47e54a828&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_il Website https://kenmcqueen.com Favorites https://www.amazon.com/Black-Echo-Harry-Bosch-Novel/dp/1538744392?content-id=amzn1.sym.ade86e8d-7bdc-4da1-98f0-8d190b9cccc9%3Aamzn1.sym.ade86e8d-7bdc-4da1-98f0-8d190b9cccc9&crid=JNY2IWNJA3SO&cv_ct_cx=harry+bosch&keywords=harry+bosch&pd_rd_i=1538744392&pd_rd_r=add8a516-17fb-4ba0-81f9-9f319d0a9e20&pd_rd_w=jLISA&pd_rd_wg=s6jDT&pf_rd_p=ade86e8d-7bdc-4da1-98f0-8d190b9cccc9&pf_rd_r=PZTHZDY0FXATWNQDG0BP&qid=1668111136&sprefix=harry+bosch%2Caps%2C113&sr=1-2-11334d15-63a8-47c9-9cec-5dae8c8a1491&linkCode=li2&tag=discoveredwordsmiths-20&linkId=9dbaee66f3e9590cb95919380b53bb20&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_il YouTube https://youtu.be/TzR0t0QO49c Transcript Alright, so Hero Haters is the book and we'll talk about conferences for the second half, the author half. I'm looking out over Barard Inlet right now, watching some freighters go by. And what we like to do here is here and on the coastal part of. British Columbia as walk along the Pacific do some kayaking when we're not, when I'm not writing, and just enjoying the moderate temperatures of British Columbia after years of living in Ottawa where it was extreme Stephen: Got it. Yeah. I'm in Ohio, which has very frequently changing weather right below Lake Erie. Yes. And today it's very mild and nice, but we're supposed to get rain tonight. We'll see. Ken: So do you get the lake effect snow come winter, spring? Stephen: Not so much. I'm just a little south of that. Lucky you. Yeah. If I go north a little bit. But it's really cool in the winter sometimes when it gets, like the last couple years really cold, you go up to Lake Erie and you see all the frozen waves and the piers are all frozen over and it's really cool looking. It is. It looks pretty Ken: freaky actually. Yes. Otherworldly, Stephen: yes. Inspiration for some story . Yeah, exactly. All right. Ken, why,

In this programme we explore the realities of island diets. Ruth Alexander hears how diets are changing, and what this means for population health. Indigenous diets were limited to what grew in the native soil or could be raised or caught in the limited space available. Today imported, often processed foods are becoming increasingly popular. We start in the Faroe Islands, in the North Atlantic Ocean between Iceland and the United Kingdom. Traditionally the Faroese diet is protein heavy, fermented wind dried lamb is a staple and the poor soil makes growing a wide range of vegetables challenging. Reporter Tim Ecott travelled to the Faroe Islands for this programme to report on how diets there have changed. We then look South to the Pacific Islands, starting with the coral atoll nation of Kiribati. The coral ground makes it difficult to grow food to supplement the diet of seafood. Ruth speaks to dietitian and public health nutritionist Dr Libby Swanepoel from the Australian Centre for Pacific Islands Research based at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Libby makes the case for seaweed cultivation to supplement diets and incomes. In contrast the nation of Fiji in the Pacific Ocean has volcanic soils, and an array of fruit and vegetables can be grown. Despite this communities have increasingly turned to imported processed foods, contributing to a health crisis. Sashi Kiran, founder of FRIEND Fiji - the Foundation for Rural Integrated Enterprises and Development – talks about how this can be addressed. Presented by Ruth Alexander.
