This week's guest is Angie Fenton, a name that’s familiar to many Louisville TV viewers -- she’s frequently seen on WHAS 11, as a contributor to their morning news show. She seems to be everywhere -- emcee-ing a gala event, reporting on happenings all around the community. She’s the editor-in-chief of Extol Magazine, which she runs with her husband, Jason Applegate, and as of December (after our interview was recorded), she's also the editor-in-chief of The Voice-Tribune, a society newspaper.
Angie Fenton is a lot of things. Mother. Editor. TV Reporter. And now we can add Political Wife. Looks like her husband is running for office.
Angie Fenton was our first guest on the #502LeaderSeries show back in September of 2015. She was pregnant with her daughter Olive, she was growing a new magazine, and building the foundation of multiple businesses. Angie Fenton was, and is, a hustler. It was great to catch up with her again in her new office at The Voice-Tribune, where she is (again) the editor-in-chief. We talk about business, life, balance, and struggle. Check it out- there are some gems of information inside that just might help you get going in whatever project you're working on. Cheers! -JM
