Packers fans, buckle up for a raw, unfiltered dive into that gritty 27-18 win over the Bengals—feels like a blowout on paper, but damn, it was closer than it should've been. Host Ryan unleashes on social media whiners, celebrates Jordan Love's laser throws and Golden's breakout catches, while callers vent about stalled drives and refs ignoring blatant holds on Parsons. It's the kind of edgy post-game therapy session that reminds you why we love (and hate) this team. Callers break down halftime dominance turning into second-half nail-biters, with defense bending but not breaking against Flacco's annoyingly perfect passes. Golden emerges as a stud receiver, Jacobs finally rumbles, and the new kicker nails it under pressure—plus rants on situational brain farts like Love's slide. Refs get roasted for missing egregious holds; social media doomers called out for ignoring the double-digit W. Positive vibes on special teams improvements and excitement for upcoming "winnable" games like the Cardinals. This episode is brought to you by PrizePicks! Last night's game? Favoritism much Refs? Treating people with dignity Prosperity Gospel The SWAT app is no longer being updated ------------------ Mark 14:3-21 (ESV) Jesus Anointed at Bethany 3 And while he was at Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he was reclining at table, a woman came with an alabaster flask of ointment of pure nard, very costly, and she broke the flask and poured it over his head. 4 There were some who said to themselves indignantly, “Why was the ointment wasted like that? 5 For this ointment could have been sold for more than three hundred denarii and given to the poor.” And they scolded her. 6 But Jesus said, “Leave her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a beautiful thing to me. 7 For you always have the poor with you, and whenever you want, you can do good for them. But you will not always have me. 8 She has done what she could; she has anointed my body beforehand for burial. 9 And truly, I say to you, wherever the gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will be told in memory of her.” Judas to Betray Jesus 10 Then Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, went to the chief priests in order to betray him to them. 11 And when they heard it, they were glad and promised to give him money. And he sought an opportunity to betray him. The Passover with the Disciples 12 And on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they sacrificed the Passover lamb, his disciples said to him, “Where will you have us go and prepare for you to eat the Passover?” 13 And he sent two of his disciples and said to them, “Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him, 14 and wherever he enters, say to the master of the house, The Teacher says, Where is my guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?' 15 And he will show you a large upper room furnished and ready; there prepare for us.” 16 And the disciples set out and went to the city and found it just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover. 17 And when it was evening, he came with the twelve. 18 And as they were reclining at table and eating, Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me, one who is eating with me.” 19 They began to be sorrowful and to say to him one after another, “Is it I?” 20 He said to them, “It is one of the twelve, one who is dipping bread into the dish with me. 21 For the Son of Man goes as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born.” __________________ 5 Core Values of SWAT 1. God's Word 2. Prayer 3. Evangelism 4. Discipleship 5. Aidan from Birds vs Boys reacts to the Philadelphia Eagles' first loss of the season vs the Denver Broncos. Crazy part? This is the most confident I've felt in the offense all year. We saw pre-snap motion, REAL play-action, timely RPOs, quicker rhythm, and big shots to DeVonta and AJ… and yet—boom—brutal, momentum-killing penalties and head-scratching officiating swing the fourth quarter. In this video:Why the offensive approach is finally repeatableSpecific sequences that should carry into the short week vs the GiantsDefense: strong for three quarters, then two late TDs—what really happenedThe officiating sequences that altered drives (and why I still hate blaming refs)What Philly should not abandon on Thursday Night FootballIf you're new here, hit Subscribe and drop your take: Did the officials ruin this for the Eagles or did the passing game still need to improve even more?

On today's show Torres talks about a LOADED Week 4 of college football, as Florida and Clemson hit rock bottom. Is today the day Billy Napier is let go? And should Dabo look for other options? Plus, a thriller in Norman - but did the refs steal a win from Auburn? Indiana rolls in victory, Michigan wins and we talk about Arkansas meltdown vs. Memphis Florida and Clemson hit rock bottom (3:00): Torres opens the show by discussing crippling losses for Florida and Clemson. The Gators loss proves beyond a reasonable doubt - Billy Napier will NEVER be the guy at Florida and that the sooner the Gators move on the better. Also, Clemson is officially a disaster. Is it time for Dabo to look for a fresh start somewhere else (17:00)? Did the refs STEAL a win from Auburn + Michigan/Indiana win (31:00): From there, Torres reacts to the rest of an insane Week 4 slate. Oklahoma beat Auburn - but did the refs steal a win from the Tigers. Plus, Michigan gets a victory and Indiana destroys Illinois. Are the Hoosiers back in the playoff mix? And is Curt Cignetti actually the best coach in the sport? Arkansas implodes and it's time to clean house (58:00): Finally, Torres talks about the sad state of the Arkansas Razorbacks. Packers fans are buzzing after a commanding 27-18 victory over the Washington Commanders, where the Green Bay defense turned Jayden Daniels into a non-factor with just 17 scrambling yards. Callers lit up the lines with excitement over the pass rush frenzy and Jordan Love's sharp 292-yard, two-touchdown performance, but frustrations boiled over refs' missed calls and sloppy penalties. This After Dark episode captures the raw thrill of a team looking unstoppable early in the season. Dominant defense steals the show: Micah Parsons-like get-offs, Devonte Wyatt's pressure surge, and Keisean Nixon's five pass breakups highlight the havoc. Offense shines amid concerns: Tucker Kraft's 126-yard explosion and Love's deep accuracy, but Jayden Reed's injury and blitz-heavy pressure raise questions. Caller hot takes: From Super Bowl dreams to betting heartbreaks and special teams gripes, fans debate if this squad can sustain the fire. Refs and penalties rant: Missed fouls on holds and personal fouls leave a bad taste, with suggestions for better timeout tech. This episode is brought to you by PrizePicks! With the big game coming this Sunday it time to play another edition of saved or screwed. Determining if the officiating crew in Sunday's game vs the Chiefs is more likely to save or screw the Eagles in a game that expects to be closely contested.
Burnout hasn't gone away — it's just changed shape.Hybrid work blurred boundaries so badly that people are “always on.”AI was supposed to reduce workload, but now professionals feel like they're running to keep up with the machine.Layoffs and cost-cutting mean “do the job of two people” is the new normal. The numbers are brutal:66% of employees say they're burnt out.85% are experiencing physical symptoms.Burnout is costing businesses over half a trillion dollars a year. But here's the twist: burnout isn't just depletion. It's transformation. It's life tapping you on the shoulder saying: this way isn't working anymore. What it looks like right now, who it's hitting hardest, and how you can take back your energy, joy, and leadership this year.Refs:https://www.talentlms.com/research/quiet-cracking-workplace-surveyhttps://www.aihs.org.au/common/Uploaded%20files/Learning-and-Events/Webinar%20Presentation/2025/The%20State%20of%20Workplace%20Burnout%20%20Webinar%20Slides.pdfhttps://www.forbes.com/sites/lisabodell/2025/06/16/feed-the-right-wolf-how-leaders-are-fighting-burnout-in-2025/https://www.ajg.com/au/news-and-insights/2025-workforce-trends-report-workplace-wellbeing-index/https://mentalhealth-uk.org/burnout/Send us a text----------------------------------- Burnout Resources:Get 1-on-1 burnout recovery coaching at https:/mini.dexrandall.comFor even more TIPS see FACEBOOK: @coachdexrandallINSTAGRAM: @coachdexrandallLINKEDIN: @coachdexrandallX: @coachdexrandallSee https://linktr.ee/coachdexrandall for all links

Our first guest Malcolm was an arch sceptic on big cats being wild in Britain. Then one night driving home in 2011 he encountered a big black panther on the lane outside his property in Herefordshire. It rushed off, doing a long leap through a high gap in the hedge. Malcolm then asked around and found that other people in the area had also seen a panther around the same time.Malcolm is coincidentally about 3 miles away from Craig, a podcast guest from episodes 72 and 116. Craig joins us again for the second half, updating us on events in the area where he found the clawed carcass and set out trail cams. Craig has a recent trail cam photo to describe, captured in mid July 2025 - see copies on BCC website Refs & Links. Then the following week, at 7pm in the woods, he experienced a full-on hiss directed at him – a google search confirmed his view that it came from a big cat, most likely a puma. Craig and Rick discuss the reports of both black and brown big cats, described over many years in this corner of Herefordshire and seemingly keeping to themselves…Word of the week: GISS (General Impression of Shape & Size)9 August 2025

Dr. Maxwell Ramstead grills Guillaume Verdon (AKA “Beff Jezos”) who's the founder of Thermodynamic computing startup Extropic.Guillaume shares his unique path – from dreaming about space travel as a kid to becoming a physicist, then working on quantum computing at Google, to developing a radically new form of computing hardware for machine learning. He explains how he hit roadblocks with traditional physics and computing, leading him to start his company – building "thermodynamic computers." These are based on a new design for super-efficient chips that use the natural chaos of electrons (think noise and heat) to power AI tasks, which promises to speed up AND lower the costs of modern probabilistic techniques like sampling. He is driven by the pursuit of building computers that work more like your brain, which (by the way) runs on a banana and a glass of water! Guillaume talks about his alter ego, Beff Jezos, and the "Effective Accelerationism" (e/acc) movement that he initiated. Its objective is to speed up tech progress in order to “grow civilization” (as measured by energy use and innovation), rather than “slowing down out of fear”. Guillaume argues we need to embrace variance, exploration, and optimism to avoid getting stuck or outpaced by competitors like China. He and Maxwell discuss big ideas like merging humans with AI, decentralizing intelligence, and why boundless growth (with smart constraints) is “key to humanity's future”.REFS:1.
