Cohosts Sean Clark and Uncle Dave Griffin welcome the talented and versatile musical team from Georgia's Golden Isles, Dakota Allyn and Ashton Rowland of Hot Banana Coffee. The charismatic duo share their musical histories and inspirations, while performing their brand new original, “Hope”, along with a couple of covers, including a heartfelt rendition of Patsy Cline's “Crazy”. "Frank" has been a buddy of mine for more than 30 years. It's been lots of burgers & brewskies. And lots of Auld Lang Synes. But there's one thing we can't discuss, and I think the reason we can't talk politics is that he's afraid he won't be able to deal with what might come...in the near future. This podcast explores the reasons behind that. If you're experiencing that same problem, this podcast may help.
This week Paul and Mike discuss a new way to steal furniture, scamming restaurants, and getting Paul his weekly coffee fix. Many thanks to Auld Lang Signs! Twit us @PerfectCrimePod or visit our website, theperfectcrimepodcast.com. And send us a GD email about your favorite type of bread!

Ray’s back in town! This particular episode is so spicy that it defies description. We would just like to use this space to wish all of our listeners a happy end of 2018 and many Auld Lang Synes in the New Year. It’s hard to believe that we recorded over 500 episodes of Half-Cort and Mid-Raynge in 2018, and I’d like to thank you all for listening to every one of them.
Welcome to TheBurg podcast, a weekly roundup of news in and around Harrisburg. Dec. 31, 2015: In this "Year in Review" edition of the podcast, Larry and Paul take a long look back at a year of ups and downs in Harrisburg. They talk about developments and setbacks in Midtown, crime across the city and headline-grabbing stories of good community policing, and the political persona of Mayor Eric Papenfuse coming into focus through initiatives and battles throughout the year. They also upgrade everyone's favorite podcast feature by picking out their Most Harrisburg Thing This Year. And Paul gets a kudos from Larry for his city-as-fixer-upper metaphor. Special thanks to Paul Cooley, who wrote our theme music. Check out his podcast, the PRC Show, on SoundCloud or in the iTunes store. And an additional thanks to the folks at the Free Music Archive, who hooked us up with some sweet "Auld Lang Synes" from the public domain. You heard versions by the United States Marine Band and Amil Byleckie. You can now subscribe to TheBurg podcast in iTunes!
"Frank" and I have shared around 30 years worth of hamburgers and cold ones, bad jokes, and Auld Lang Synes. He was there to help me when my Lady Wonder Wench had that accident that almost cost her life. He's the kind of guy you want around for laughs, and also for when the sky is crashing down around your ears. But there's something we can't talk about any more, because every time we get into it, he gets angry, really angry. We can't talk about America any more.

Player One's Shiny New YearHappy New Year everyone! While other podcasts have settled in for a long winter's nap, we hopped in the studio yet again for one more episode before all the Auld Lang Synes were sung. In this episode, Phil and Dan become "series regulars," and join Greg and CJ to talk about such things as what we'd like to see happen in 2007 (though we tried to avoid predictions outright, we stray into that territory too). Here's a trend for '07--most of the discussion in this episode seemed to revolve around downloadable content. We like it, we hate it, we'd like to see Microsoft step in and referee, we'd like Nintendo and Sony to do more of it. But fear not, that's not all we talk about.Next up we talk about our Gaming Origins. You know, the story everyone has of how they got into gaming. We go from oldest to youngest and recount tales of Atari 2600s, NESes and Super NESes, calling around a snowfilled province to find the one remaining system and the games that cemented our undying love of gaming. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you probably have an "origin" story of your own. Please feel free to share it in the comments here.As a bonus, we also get into the story behind why we rib CJ so much about that Bubsy 3D thing and talk about other quotes of ours that've been immortalized on boxes and in ads.But of course first up we talk about what we've been playing. In this episode that's games like Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin (DS), Gears of War (360), Viva Pinata (360), Gran Turismo HD (PS3), Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii), Pokémon Ruby and more.As always, drop us a comment on the blog page or send us an e-mail comment to playeronepodcast@gmail.com. digg_url = 'http://www.digg.com/podcasts/Player_One_Podcast'; digg_bgcolor = '#FFCC99'; digg_skin = 'compact';
