Alex plays an interview with Bill Ballou of The Worcester Telegram-Gazette that he conducted on his radio show, "The Alex Reimer Show," this past Saturday. Alex and Bill talk about the disappointing Red Sox start, what to do with David Ortiz, and address the topic, "are the Red Sox boring?" Alex recaps the abysmal 3 game series against the Orioles from over the weekend. Alex mentions how when one thing went right, the other things went wrong, and how the total instability of the Red Sox is what's most disheartening, with different lineups everyday, Wakefield not looking comfortable in the bullpen, etc. The "post of the day" (www.thesportsstuff.com/boards) is handed out, and Alex further address what exactly David Ortiz's role is, especially with the need of a more defensive-minded catcher. In the "Around the League" segment, the AL East standings are gone over, and Alex also talks about some early surprises and stories, including the Padres' hot start and the Phillies' rather mediocre one.
