I spoke with Karla in late June from her temporary home in Tuba City, AZ on her day off from taking care of COVID patients in the Navajo Nation. Karla grew up in Brainerd MN and is based in Missoula, MT, though she is currently working in the Navajo Nation and resides in her RV in Tuba City, AZ. Karla has shared three stories at Tell Us Something. The one she’s asked me to share with you today she shared on February 17th, 2015 at the Top Hat Lounge in Missoula, MT.
