What a Creep: Not Fade Away Podcast Bonus Ep “The Who in Cincinnatti” The Travis Scott “Astroworld” Concert Tragedy (This episode was originally released in December 2019) In today's episode, we talk about the tragedy at Riverfront Coliseum in Cincinnati that took place on December 3, 1979. On that night 11 people were killed trying to enter the doors for a concert by The Who. At the time it was the worst concert tragedy in American history. “Festival Seating” was demonized and the term “stampede” was irresponsibly used to describe it and other incidents over the years. So what actually happened that night? Take a listen to this show! In this episode, I am helped by someone who was key to disseminating information the night of Monday, December 3, 1979, in Cincinnati, Paul Wertheimer, founder, and principal of Crowd Management Strategies. The information he gives us will be invaluable to truly understand what happened and why the same mistakes keep popping up around the world. The full list of those killed that day are as follows: Karen Morrison 15 Finneytown OH Stephan Preston 19 Finneytown OH Philip Snyder 20 Franklin OHWalter Adams Jr. 22 Trotwood OH Peter Bowes 18 Wyoming OH Connie Sue Burns 21 Miamisburg OH Jacqueline Eckerle 15 Finneytown OH David Heck 19 Highland Heights KY (Who had escaped the melee only to go back to save people and get crushed in the crowd.) Special episode of the Braless Podcast. Erin and Michelle have a conversation about the recent ban on transgender troops by President Donald Trump on Twitter this week. We discuss the different perspectives in support and against this policy. If you are still reading, please consider at least listening to the first 4 minutes of this podcast. If, after that, you want to skip this episode, we will understand. Please join us for our next episode, dropping Sunday, titled “The Compressing History of the Bra” with Tawny Platis of The Dirty Bits Podcast. Host, Erin Whitehead, invites Jean South of Hire Served to the podcast for a conversation about her time as an FBI Agent, and how it is EXACTLY like Criminal Minds, minus Shemar Moore… sadly. We also learn about her work connecting companies with veterans and prior law enforcement who are transitioning into the civilian workforce. If you tell Jean she can’t, will that motivate her to do it anyway? While Jean brushes up on her Russian with some light morning reading, is Erin just reading Twitter feeds? (Spoiler: Well, duh.) If you live in LA will you have to live in a van down by the river? Can Erin’s husband navigate YouTube without the help of a 13 year old? Has someone invented a snapchat filter to follow us around all day? Will conspiracy theorists ruin it for everyone? Does the FBI care who you are sexting? Can President Tom Kirkman, from Designated Survivor, be our President? Or Mike Rowe, from Dirty Jobs? What about the fruit flies in Erin’s kitchen? If you feel the need to murder someone, should you just divorce them instead? Does Erin’s husband know how to choose his words? Can the Braless Podcast solve all of the world’s problems? 10-4… over and out. To learn more about Hire Served you can visit their website www.hireserved.com and on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram all @HireServed. Host, Erin Whitehead, invites REAL LIVE comedian, A. Ali Flores to the podcast for a conversation that had her laughing so hard... she might have gotten gas! (Just in time for Cinco De Mayo, you ask?! 100% a coincidence, we promise.) What exactly makes a kid become a crotch biter? Is it a sign when your wife watches episodes of "Snapped" WITH a notebook in hand? What in the world is in our MySpace accounts? Can you fool drunk college students in a bar by pretending you are an alligator wrestler? (Spoiler alert... yes. Yes, you can!) How can you find A. Ali Flores if you want to hear more from him? Enjoying her redneck cocktail (and enjoying better sound quality now that she actually got her shit together and learned how to properly plug in a mic), Erin chats with Cassandra about where in the world we can wear the new Braless Podcast tee-shirts, and learns the difference between being a Puma, Cougar and a Jaguar!
