In one of the worst-offending industries for landfill and modern slavery, Kalopsia proves you can make products more ethically and minimise environmental impact.A batch manufacturer of textiles, apparel and accessories, Kalopsia is a social enterprise which started as an artistic collective and morphed into a textile producing community interest company. It makes exciting products (including for brands you will have heard of), supports the textile industry and the people in it, minimises waste and environmental impact. You're back with Decomposed Radio, and show number 075. As promised, we're rewinding again to Code Nightclub in early December 2019 for the outrageously good Climbing Works party. We've got quite a few of the sets recorded which is ace, so this time round we have my own set from the night, which closed out phase I of the party, and kicked off around 4.30am I think. I really can't stress enough what a privelege it is to play for a crowd like we get at this event, and looking out to a packed dancefloor full of happy, super up for it faces. You just know you can let loose a bit and lead people on a bit of a journey which they'll be more than happy to follow you on. I really enjoyed listening to the set back again whilst putting the show together, and remembering how up for it and properly locked into the music I was, confident that I could dish out some feisty acid techno, as well as some deep, tough spacey stuff, separated by what's become a bit of a traditional old skool breakdown slap bang in the middle. So let's waste no time and get stuck right in. This is GusN8r in the mix, recorded live at Code in Sheffield. Crank it right up!!

Happy Birthday to Decomposed Radio!! It's hard to believe that a year has passed already, since we started up a show and podcast with the aim of sharing some of the unique DJ talent that we're lucky enough to be surrounded by. Thanks to everyone who has listened, contributed to and supported us over the last 12 months. So far we've featured twenty six superb and varied mixes from some super talented DJ's across the UK and beyond, and we're not stopping now! For our anniversary show, we're rewinding back to where it all began! After the huge success of show #01 there was only one DJ that we could have asked to provide a mix for show #026, the one and only "DJ Galup" aka Sam Whittaker. Sam's mix from a year ago has had around 3,000 downloads across the different platforms on which we put the show out, so as such he's clearly a firm Decomposed Radio favourite! A super adept DJ and climber, over the last 10 years he's also the man behind the outrageous "Climbing Works" parties, which never fail to be an incredible annual night of house and techno here in Sheffield, so he's got a lot to answer for! After the outstanding mix that he put together for our very first show, it was hard to see how he could raise the bar, that said, we're very happy to say that he might just have outdone himself with the hour and a half of music that he's mixed together for us for show 26! Thanks again to everyone who's supported us over the last 12 months, please keep sharing the Decomposed Radio love to anyone you might think might like what we do, and here's to another year of house and techno from Decomposed Radio: It's not going off......it's gone off......

Welcome to an extra special show number 16 of Decomposed Radio, featuring another set recorded live on 9th December 2016 at CODE Sheffield, this time featuring one of the most legit guys in techno today, none other than Mark Broom. Always on point, Mark has an outrageous number of quality techno releases to his name, one pretty much every quality techno imprint around, even including "M-Plant!" with an approved remix for Robert Hood! His DJ sets feature a legendary blend of tough, funky, and classic techno, always combined with his amazing remixes of disco and house classics, with some serious "moments" throughout! We were lucky enough to have him headline at the amazing "Climbing Works" party, at the end of last year, and even luckier to record the mix, which Mark has kindly let us present to you, the hour featured on Decomposed Radio this time up is the second hour from his 2 hour set, between 3am and 5am, when things seriously ramped up and went off. So without wasting any more time, check out Decomposed Radio #016 with an outstanding hour of classy techno, from Mark Broom.
