Gary Ormsby affectionately known as Garbha (Divine Seed), is a Yoga Therapist, N.Y.S. Licensed Massage Therapist, Gong Master. He has been teaching Yoga, and meditation since 1977. Gary has taught in all of New York City's Juvenile Justice System facilities and Harlem Children Zone for over 10 years, along with senior centes within the urban community. Gary owned one of the 1st yoga centers in Harlem. He is also a Thai Massage Master and enjoys teaching and exposing the African American Community to this holistic healing modality not yet widely recognized. Gary is a firm believer in the body's amazing ability to heal its self, through diet, exercise, medicated oils and most importantly, he states, meditation. He teaches meditation and deep relaxation using the sound vibration of "The Gong" to help facilitate the entering of healing alpha states of consciousness, to promote and encourage physical homostatis and mental equanimity or self healing and mental clarity. Resolving deep seat mind/body maladies, conflicts and engender a senses of lasting inner peace.
