Tom Paladino is a scalar energy researcher based in Florida. Scalar energy is the fundamental life force found everywhere in the world, space and universe. It originates from the sun and stars. Chi, prana, OM, mana, life force, pyramid energy, or zero-point energy are synonymous terms for scalar energy. Tom began research with Scalar Energy during his undergraduate years after developing a deep admiration for the father of Scalar Energy research or knowledge, Nikola Tesla. He was also able to study the work of a man Hieronymus who continued research on Scalar Energy. Hieronymus' major contributions included unbinding the RNA/ DNA bonds of microbes plaguing the agricultural industry (rendering them harmless). The existence of such energy not found within the electromagnetic spectrum, fascinated Tom. Inspired by these findings, he pursued a course of independent study seeking to better understand and subsequently harness Scalar Energy, through the development of an instrument called “Scalar Light”. Tom theorized that all energy in the universe initiates as scalar energy; and that the sun of our solar system and the stars of the universe are the points of origin, “the storehouses,” for scalar energy. He further theorized that scalar energy is instructive energy, as the entire universe is instructed by this Divine Essence. Subsequently, all spiritual, cognitive, emotional, and physical action in the universe is initiated and maintained by scalar energy instructions. Scalar energy provides order in the universe. ".We'll look at how e-scooters,e-bikes, pedestrians who text while jaywalking and legally walking across the streets with a sense of entitlement, and all of the above mentioned who play the game of "chicken with car drivers. have changed the streetscape in New York and raised safety concerns.E-powered machines can fill the gaps in urban transportation systems for trips to places that are too far to walk to but are too close for the subway or bus, they take up little, if any, street space for parking; and they are fun to ride,Their popularity surged with the pandemic.,George Diaz of the Bronx bought an e-scooter last year to reduce the risk of being exposed to the coronavirus on his crowded bus commute.“It saves me money,” At least 17 people have been killed while riding electric mobility vehicles this year, according to city officials. Revel, which operates an electric moped share program in the city, shut it down for a month last year after three riders were killed.3 pedestrians have also died in e-mobility crashes this year, among them the actress Lisa Banes, who was knocked down by a hit-and-run scooter rider on the Upper West Side. And many pedestrians and cyclists complain about e-bike and e-scooter riders who speed, ride on sidewalks, run red lights, and go the wrong way on streets. The e-bikes, they don't mind which way they have to go, how they go, where they go,” When you're crossing the street, it's not just looking for a car. You have to look to see if any bike is coming. Most e-bikes and e-scooters did not become legal in New York City until last year, unlike cars, they are not registered or licensed or required to have insurance. Unlike drivers, e-riders caught speeding by automatic cameras are not sent summonses. by James Barron...
"Forty years ago, Games People Play revolutionized our understanding of what really goes on during our most basic social interactions. More than five million copies later, Dr. Eric Berne's classic is as astonishing - and revealing - as it was on the day it was first published. We play games all the time - sexual games, marital games, power games with our bosses, and competitive games with our friends, Detailing status contests like "Martini" ( I know a better way), to lethal couples combat like " It It Weren't For You" and Uproar" to flirtation favorites like "The Stocking Game" and Lets You and Him Fight" Dr. Berne exposes the secret plays and unconscious maneuvers the rule our intimate lives. Explosive when it first appeared, Games People Play is now widely recognized as the most original and influential popular psychology book of our time. It's as powerful and eye-opening as ever." As part of his100+ Steps Forward plan for New York City, Mayor Eric Adams is on a mission to tackle one of the most stubborn health problems in the country: chronic disease in the African American community. African Americans are heavier and sicker than any other group in the U.S., with nearly half of all Black adults suffering from some form of cardiovascular disease. After Adams woke up with severe vision loss one day in 2016,he learned that he was one of the nearly 5million Black people living with diabetes and, according to his doctor, he would have it for the rest of his life. A police officer for over two decades, A connoisseur of the fast-food dollar menu.Like so many Americans with stressful jobs, the last thing he wanted to think about was eating healthfully .Fast food was easy, cheap, and comfortable. His diet followed him from the squad car to the state senate, and then to Brooklyn Borough Hall, where it finally caught up with him. But Adams was not ready to become a statistic. There was a better option besides medication and shots of insulin:food. Within three months of adopting a plant-based diet,he lost35 pounds, lowered his cholesterol by30 points, restored his vision, and reversed his diabetes. Now he is on a mission to revolutionize the health of not just the borough of Brooklyn, but of African Americans across the country. Armed with the hard science and life stories of those who have transformed their bodies by changing their diet,Adams shares the key steps for a healthy active life.He shows us how to cut down on salt, get more fiber, and substitute beef, chicken, pork, and dairy with delicious plant-based alternatives. He explores the origins of soul food as deeply important to the Black community, but also one rooted in the horrors of slavery-and how it can be reimagined with healthy alternatives.

"...Why it is still important to wear a mask and get vacinated...How a whole food plant based "Live-it" or Diet...,along with exercise and having 8 hours of sleep can be your best line of defence -Who is most at risk? and what works to boost your immune system... "For a whole host of economic, political and historical reasons,Georges C. Benjamin, executive director of the American Public Health Association, says it's a threat that African Americans need to take particularly seriously “We get a lot of misinformation circulating through our communities,” Benjamin said.“We fundamentally don't trust some of the non-black institutions because they donot serve us well.We need to make sure our trusted institutions, clinicians of color, churches, community organizations, are better educated.”.The biggest challenge is the fact that African Americans, start out with health outcomes that are disproportionately poor when compared to white Americans. The highest risk,if you get this disease,is to someone 60 or older with chronic disease. With African Americans, you start with a population that is disproportionately sicker, and if it gets exposed, it will have a higher deathrate. Everyone obviously goes back to the Tuskegee experiment. The syphilis study where African American men were not treated for syphilis and they continued not to be treated even after we had treatment available.Ultimately the Public Health Service apologized,as well as President Clinton apologized on behalf of America. We also have experiences where people go into health centers and the word on the street is you go in, but you don't come out.The reason they don't come out is that people go into those places in a much later state of the disease...".
"After being canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 50th running of the New York City marathon made a triumphant return Sunday” Congratulate the winners of this years New York City Marathon Peres Jepchirchir of Kenya the women's race winner, finishing in 2:22:39, the third fastest time in race history. And Albert Korir of Kenya winner of the men's race in 2:08:22, which puts him among the 20 fastest finishers in race history. Also, congratulations to the first black director of the New York City marathon Brother Ted Metellus who was born in the Bronx and raised by parents who emigrated from Haiti..The Sunday of November7,2010,I ran my 14th New York City Marathon. This is a very special run in that I had joined 43,000 other runners including my late friend Damian Gurganious and his wife Nicole, They were 2008 contestants in "The Biggest Loosers Couple".Dora and I were blessed to have him visit us at our home. He was a very humble and generous Brother, who shared with us his battle with combating diabetes…he was instrumental in assisting Dora with reversing her diabetes, which included sending her a DVD with state of the art healing motalities .t that time, my last marathon was in 2002, that along with less training may result with this being my slowest race4-5 hours as my best time is 2:58:56. I ran it in 1989 when I was 45.Which placed me 23 minutes short of elite runner status. World champion Haile Gebrselassie experienced the excitement of Africans competing against each other for the status as the world's best marathon runners I ran in honor of mywife, Dora Gray Ph.D,who is reversing her diabetic condition and my late sister, Donice Seas-bey, who at that time had been in remission from diabetes. November is National Diabetes Awareness Month, many understand that people with diabetes.Especially those of African descent, are impacted at significantly higher rates if diagnosed with COVID-19. .”

"...As the meatless diet has grown in popularity over the years, a number of books have been written on the subject. Some of these explore the health reasons behind vegetarianism and point out how a vegetarian diet can help prevent heart attacks, strokes, cancer, diabetes and other diseases. Some books forcus on the ecological, world food and economic aspects of a meatless diet and show how to enjoy gourmet nutrition without having to spend a lot of money. Others describe how a plant kingdom is the primary source of vital nutrients and how vegetatian diets provide more than enough of the proteins, vitamins and minerals we need each day. Still other books consider many of the ethical, moral and philosophical reasons behind the vegetarian diet. Few works, however, have ever attempted to tackle the difficult subject of vegetarianism and the world religions. Food For The Spirit is the first book to do so with depth and clarity..."...Nathaniel Altman...

The Healing Drum By Yaya Diallo and Mitchell Hall..is a worldwide best selling book, which is noteworthy for its emphasis on the moral significance of music. In this time of unprecedented rapid change,The Healing Drum wisely suggests what music and musicians can do to help create a moral and spiritual world." " Yaya Diallo was raised in a culture that works, worships, lives, and breathes to the beat of the drum. An instrument for transmitting traditional knowledge among the Minianka, the drum is the focal point of Yaya's life story and his link-through the universl medium of music-with the Western world."-"Exploring the Minianka view of the human being and the cosmos relative to daily work, celebration, herbal medicine, dance, trance initiation and death, in the tradition of the Minianka, music is a remedy for both physical and psychological imbalances, harmonizing the forces of the visible and invisible worlds. Along with excerpts from the book we will discuss the message of The Healing Drum and how it can affect change in the African Diaspora.Yaya Diallo was born in 1946 in the village of Fienso, Mali, to a nomadic Fula father and a Minianka mother. Thanks to his mother, being from the illustrious Berthe family (hunters, chiefs, musicians.), young Yaya had the opportunity to hear some of the best musicians of the former canton Zangasso. Healer and sorcerer Nangape Kone became his protector and mentor. We also look forward to discussing the current Convid-19 pandemic with Yaya, who graduated from the University of Montreal in Chemistry in 1973. Following a brief career as a chemist, Yaya returned to traditional African music. He was a co-founder of the music and dance groups Djembe-Kan and Cleba and a member of the African Troubadours with the World Music Institute as well as a faculty member with the Creative Music Studio, Woodstock, NY, and the Omega Institute.

However, years passed with no musical involvement, and he had a family to raise. But, then he heard Eddie Jefferson,“the godfather of vocalese”.That was the seed that blossomed into where Steve is today. His other influences were Oscar Brown,Jr,Johnny Hartman, and Billy Eckstine. Steve’s foray into the world of jazz started his debut CD, “Steppin’ Out,”which garnered him considerable accolades. Welcoming Spirit Home is a book that anyone interested in birth, Children, or the fostering of non-violent, compassionate societies is likely to want to read. Start to finish. In one reading. Sonbofu Some brings to life the importance of an entire community's celebrating the significance of the processes of a baby's conception, a women's pregnancy, life in the womb, the mother and child's birth, and their bond and development as souls, in the context of their family and community-at-large. Sonbofu speaks with the natural ease of a woman born and raised in a well-functioning, bonded culture. She shares a great deal of the ancient wisdom of her Dagara trive of Burkina Faso, a tiny land-losked country in Western Africa. This is where Sobonfu lived until she was "chosen" as a wife for Malidoma Some, an older man from a nearby tribe who was already living and teaching in America. Finding herself in a strange culture, not knowing the language, Sonbonfu bore the shock of all immigrants, but especially because she had never before been outside her tribal village. In the subsequent years she learned fluent English and, like Malidoma, took her place as one of only a handful of Africans who have continued to live with one foot in the modern technological culture of the U.S. and the other in their native land. She regularly returns to her village for spiritual susrenance and familial ties. It is this unique blend of outside observer of Western culture and modern Westernized woman who works hard maintaining her deepest traditional values that makes Sobonfu's wisdom so special.

In the 1920s, immigrants from Trinidad and other Caribbean islands with a carnival tradition began celebrating Carnival in private spaces in Harlem. These celebrations took place during the traditional pre-Lenten period. In the mid-1940s, Trinidadian Jesse and Brother Palmer Lampkin other family members and friends organized a street festival held on Labor Day, on 7th Avenue in Harlem. The parade permit for Harlem was revoked in 1964 following a disturbance. Five years later, a committee headed by Carlos Lezama obtained permission to parade on Eastern Parkway. That committee became the West Indian-American Day Carnival Association, now a well-established organization. Lezama headed the organization through many years of growth, retiring at the age of 78 in 2001. His daughter, Yolanda Lezama-Clark, was subsequently elected President. Events are held every year from the Thursday before Labor Day through the weekend, culminating in the parade on Labor Day itself. The parade now proceeds from Utica Avenue along Eastern Parkway to Grand Army Plaza. Highlights include a steel band competition, a Dimanche Gras (Fat Sunday) extravaganza and a special Kiddie Carnival which runs from President Street to the grounds of the Brooklyn Museum of Art. We will discuss what has happened since the original founders first thought of the having this event and the subsequent negative changes that have taken place..such as the recent shootings and injuries that seem to be acepted as part of this yearly ritual.

Appreciation Through Re-education... " Without question, jazz music is a powerful vehicle for human expression. Everywhere we look or open our ears, we can discern the emotional, creative, and musical effects of this particular mode of human expression. Interestingly though, when we are discussing jazz music, we are also moving into the realm of controversy. What is the source, and why does this specific musical expression engender so much praise, or on the other hand is disdained by its critics? At the age of 72 and one who has been a vegetarian for over twenty five years,I am compelled to share this topic of discussion, with the hope of inspiring "Food for Thought" Baba Wesley Gray Join us as we review Food for The Spirit..By Steven Rosen "It would be wonderful if the world adopted vegetarianism, on religious grounds or any other. But this is not likely. I am a skeptic, it's true, but I am also realistic. In any event, what the people in general do will not affect me.I will continue to be a vegetarian even if the whole world started to eat meat. This is my protest against the conduct of the world. To be a vegetarian is to disagree - to disagree with the course of things today.Nuclear power, starvation, cruelty-we must make a statement against these things. Vegetarianism is my statement. And I think it's a strong one. Author Steven Rosen makes a similar statement in his book. And although I do no necessarily agree witn everthing he says, point for point,I do find his work fascinating and convincing. He correctly points our that various philosophers and religious leaders have tried to convince their following that animals are nothing more than machines, put on earth for our pleasure, with no purpose of their own. Mr.Rosen smashes this idea, however, and every reader who is predisposed to the vegetarian ideal will enjoy his logic and reason in doing this" -.Isaac Bashevis Singer
