As the split for the Super 8s edges that bit closer, Huddersfield welcomed Super League's second-placed side Wigan to the John Smith's Stadium with the Giants hoping for a second home win in a row & Warriors looking to keep the pressure on runaway leaders St. Helens. Huddersfield had the better of Wigan from the off as McIntosh bagged another brace and the home side's defence kept Wigan at bay. A frantic first half was enough for Simon Woolford's men, who controlled the second period, only needing the one four pointer before the cherry and whites managed a late consolation. The only concern for Giants may be an off night of kicking for Danny Brough but Huddersfield will be much more focused on their impressive form in the season's twilight that leaves them comfortable in the top eight, level on points with sixth-placed Catalans. Proper Sport's commentary team of Mick Gledhill and Garry Schofield brought you the action in this lively affair. Final score: Huddersfield Giants 20 - 12 Wigan Warriors
Happy 21st Birthday! My friends got me a strippa, and unfortunately it was a dude. Fortunately that dude was Lexxi Foxx from STEEL PANTHER. Great to have such an awesome guy on the show and it was a super fun chat. I didn't have much time to speak to Lexxi, so the interview is short but sweet; just like my peener. I didn't want you guys ripped off, so I asked friend of the show Mick Gledhill to come in so we could have a chin wag about Rock N Roll. Well, for a while anyway. Of course the conversation deteriorated into the usual shenanigans. At the end of the show is the song "In The Name Of...." from my solo project bloodredskies. It's a [...]
Welcome back two good friends of the show Mick Gledhill & Bruno Oliveira. I have these guys on the show a lot because they're two of my good mates & it's always a sh#tload of fun when we get together. We investigate coffee enemas & meet a man who prayed away the gay. As always, we bring you the issues that matter. Dibgy [Gledhill's doggy] makes several appearances in this episode; namely by dropping rancid farts [which were quite upsetting for Bruno]. There's a lot of comedy talk, tales of our police encounters and an assortment of random nonsense. Thanks so much for the support. The numbers keep growing from all over the world. Please, share the hell out of the podcast and blackmail your frien [...]
[Episode #15] We're back with a show favourite, my great buddy - the hilarious Mick Gledhill. He's made it to the Triple J RAW Comedy WA STATE FINAL for the 2nd year running. He had a 30 year military career, spent years as a sky diving instructor, he advocates for veteran's affairs groups AND donates the proceeds from the sale of his "Dogfather Comedy" shirts to animal charities. What a bloody legend! Plus, he's so funny that you'd wanna listen to him even if he was a doucher. Let us introduce you to a well adjusted young lady who is in love with the Eiffel Tower! Mick has a butt-tonne of stories from his years as a sky diving instructor (& as a part of [...]
Hey there kids. It's Douglas the dancing clown. It's episode #7 and we're back with comedians Mick Gledhill and Bruno Oliveira for some killer shit. We start the show off with a dude that lives as a dog, a man who may have missed out on a few hugs growing up. We spoke about racism in Australia and being a former soldier, Mick gives the down-low on some problems within the military. The world's getting soft and we don't like it - thoughts? How good is Steven Seagal! *COUGH* Bruno and Douglas both have the dead-eyed stare [...]
WASSUP!! Welcome to Episode #02 of the Hyper Manic Noize Podcast with the "Dogfather Of Comedy" Mick Gledhill. Mick is a fucking amazing comedian & such an interesting bloke. If every podcast I do manages to be half this funny, I'll be a millionaire before Christmas.
