SHL colour analyst Mike Zanier says that Canucks prospect Nils Hoglander is still a few years away from being ready to play in the NHL. Zanier also settled the long debate on how Swedes pronounce Elias Pettersson's name.

Swedish hockey insider Mike Zanier says there are rumblings Elias Pettersson will spend another season in Sweden, where he can again play heavy minutes and work on improving his strength.

Mike Zanier, from SHL broadcasts, says Elias Pettersson has taken his game to another level in the SHL Final. Mike says Pettersson seems to grow in confidence as the games get harder, and he wouldn't be surprised if Pettersson takes it up another step at the World Championships

Mike Zanier, doing colour commentary in Sweden, says Elias Pettersson has quickly adapted to tougher playoff hockey in Sweden. Mike also Jonathan Dahlen is "a real hockey nerd" who loves the game and has a passion to get better, and expects Dahlen to adapt quickly to AHL hockey with Utica

Mike Zanier, who does colour commentary on SHL games, says Elias Pettersson's patience and vision with the puck remind him, just a bit, of a certain all-time great. Mike says the more he sees of Pettersson, the more he likes him...and Pettersson's defensive game is very underrated, too.
