Wasn't term and money so must have been asst. coaches. Talked about the training staff that were let go. This doesn't surprise anyone. Talked about Kuzmenko. The player is looking at years down the road. Just because he can only sign a one year deal now, doesn't mean they don't have an eye on the future. Talked about Brock Boeser. Rob Williams of the Daily Hive joined Matt and Blake for his regular Friday hit to close out the show. Talked about the return of Boudreau. Talked about having street parties for big games. Vancouver Whitecaps head coach, Vanni Sartini, joined Matt and Blake after a victory over a CPL team in Valour. Happy they did their job and have now qualified for the quarter final. They have stopped this bad tradition of losing to a lower level team. Was pleased with the first half but second half became sleepy. That's why the chances dried up. A game of two faces. Likes that the last two games have been clean sheets. Talked about Teibert. The soul of the group. Thinks that he has been picked on by the fans too much. He leads the team on the pitch with his intensity. Talked about Chiellini. Has met him a lot of times but not recently. Everything is possible. Would absolutely love to have the captain of the Italian national team. Will say no for now as they don't have the rights. If the rights holders don't have good conversations then they will see what happens. Says it would be nice to have another Italian on the squad so it's easy to communicate. Talked about Baldisimo. Says he had a very bad family situation but all the stress overwhelmed him on the pitch. Is proud of him. It wasn't an injury, was related to his mental condition. Says the better the national team does in Canada, the better it is for everyone who works in soccer in Canada. They can feed each other with the excitement for soccer. Scott Rintoul joined for his regular Thursday spot! Talked about the return of Boudreau and if and when it will happen. Says it's not done until it's done. Doesn't think the Canucks should tank for an opportunity for Connor Bedard. Would love to see it here. Where the core players are at here, that would be a long shot to have them finish that low. Talked about Canada Soccer and the upcoming matches at BC Place. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Instilled at a young age, to work hard. Talked about some really good teams at MS that were ranked #1. Very balanced team. Talked about going from school to the World Championships. Said it was pretty cool to be there with all the fans. Talked about going pro in a lockout year. Had a really good team in Rochester. Talked about years in BUF and a season where he played 76 games. Talked about all the outdoor events he has played in. Was a little bit trippy to be playing in the football stadium in his hometown. Was cool to be a part of so many big moments at the centre of the hockey world. Talked about 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Was a highlight but also bittersweet. If anyone was going to score, might as well have been Sid. Talked a little bit about connecting with with him for an interesting relationship over the year. Has had good hockey experiences with him, competing and training together. Talked about why he decided to sign with the Canucks. It was a very veteran group, his first year. Former Vancouver Canuck, Cory Schneider, joined Matt and Blake for a special Easter weekend special show. Talked about finally getting in with the Islanders. Had a rough start leading into covid. Things snowballed from there. Was feeling good about his game in the American League before he got called up in Jersey. Talked about signing with the Isles. It was a familiar option for him with Lou there. Going on a deep playoff run with the team reinvigorated him. Says he wasn't about playing in the AHL. A lot of people look down at it but he hadn't played in a year and a half. He just wanted to play games and prove to himself that he could still play. Talked about what he heard from other guys who had contemplated retirement. Was as nervous for his last start as he was when he broke into the league. Talked about how great it is for his family to see him play in the NHL again. Win or lose he is proud of himself to be back when people thought he wasn't going to play again. Not touting himself as an underdog. Cory talked about his living situation. Commuted from Jersey to Long Island all of last year. Talked about the accent and not having a BOS accent. Says the biggest factor is that his parents aren't originally from there. Talked about why he chose to go to Boston College. Education was very important to him. Hockey was a luxury for him. He needed to have good grades to be able to play. Cory talked about some of the players he played with who don't fit the natural hockey body style. Cory does not want to talk about his Beanpot record… would rather win a Frozen Four. Talked about breaking into Manitoba with the Moose. He felt ready for pro after three years of college. Would have loved to play a fourth year but saw the money that he didn't want to turn down. The team gave him the max, which caught him off-guard. Knew nothing about Winnipeg, even as an educated guy. Talked about Scott Arniel. Talked about the time he was called out by Arnie. Told him he wasn't ready for pro, from what he'd seen. Had kind of left him alone to that point. After that meeting, he started to play the best he had ever played. Says the reason he was still in the A was because he was a first round pick, otherwise would have been sent to the ECHL. Says they talk more as piers now, rather than a player-coach relationship. You can take those moment and it can go either way. Says it led him to the path he went on. Talked about how he felt after Lu signed a 12 year deal. Wasn't a fan of it at the start but all worked out. Talked about his relationship with Luongo. Very easy with Lu. Tough competitor. Says that Roberto quickly made it clear that he wouldn't be hard on him. Got to learn from two of the best goalies to ever play. Try's not to rehash what could have been. If you told him when he drafted that the career he had was what he would have, he would have said hell ya. Don't feel sorry for him, he is fine. Don't be sad for him. Be sad for what is going on in the world. Has never gotten to really know Bo Horvat, though he knows him well. The first couple years, the trade was working for both sides. Things change. No point in comparing himself to him. Says that Bo probably doesn't give a damn about the old guy in Jersey… Talked about being in the middle of the fascination that was who was going to start on any given night. Applauds the media in Vancouver for taking that story and making the most of it. Told Matt and Blake they are welcome… Found it funny because people kind of pick sides even though we all wanted the Canucks to win. Says that it was probably way harder on Roberto than him. Talked about what's next for him. Wants to think about what is best for his family. At what point does he say if he needs to grind it out for another year for his sake. Or is it time to put the family first. Not sure he wants to hang on to hang on. He isn't arrogant enough to think teams are lining up to sign him. Talked more about life after hockey. Says he wants to do media like Kevin and bullshit along like he has. He is comfortable with his strengths and connections to do whatever he wants to do. Blessed to be in a financial position that he doesn't have to work. Coaching seems like a very hard living. Likes the management side but doesn't know what he would consider in that route. Not very interested in stopping playing and going back to a team where he is away from his family. Can't keep up with Lu and his 15 fantasy lineups. Can't think the game like Hank and Danny. Sucks to miss daughters dance and son's t-ball game. As you get older your priorities change. Will one day consider it heavily. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The host of Hockey Night in Canada, David Amber joined Blake and Jeff to talk about the playoff race. Not before we got into a little reality tv talk. Says that last night for the Canucks was good to get the win but would have been better in regulation. We've seen crazier things in sports then this Canucks team making the playoffs. They need other teams to falter. Didn't think we'd be here in October and November. Talked about Vegas. Says something doesn't feel right about the group. They aren't the Vegas of old, per say… Maybe giving up on MAF after Lehner didn't look good. Wonders what the dressing room is like. Talked about the Alberta teams. Talked about the Hart Trophy race. Talked about a MIN v STL series. It would be an all-out brawl. Really likes that MIN and vs the Blues it would be a great series. Talked about how much Canadian hockey success means to the network. Talked about the optimal matchup for the Leafs. Either Tampa or BOS, who are most likely, are both compelling. The funny this is that they'll likely have home ice advantage but come in as underdogs because of their playoff history. Darren Dreger of the Ray and Dregs Podcast and NHL Insider, joined Blake and Jeff. Talked about some of the college free agents that are being swept up to end the season. Talked about Vegas and the job they've done. Talked about Owen Power and his debut. Dregs says it's so strange that good teams have their kryptonite. Obvious that Leafs have more fire power but they were sleepy last night. Team looks like it's fumbling around trying to get AM to 60 goals. Talked about where he thinks Matthews will finish the season in goals. Our friend, Farhan Lalji, happened to be in the neighbourhood and jumped on to close the show. Talked about the Canucks. John talked about Crosby and how he'll be one of the best to ever play. Talked about the actual Mount Rushmore. John thinks that we will hear more about Boudreau when the season is over. Get the games done and we'll hear more about it in the month of May. Thinks that this is only a distraction for the media. This is how Rutherford and Allvin conduct their business. Talked about the connection between Rutherford and Paul Maurice. There is a relationship there. Paul needed a break from hockey and the team needed a break from him. They stopped listening. Our Canucks reporter, Jeff Paterson joined us amidst a Canucks heater. Talked about the upcoming schedule of the teams around them and what needs to happen. Canucks still have games against all the teams that are around them but those teams don't have any games against each other. Tied Allvin superstar comments and his 4 point performance. Not saying that it is a direct result but if he had that relayed to him, he should want to go out and prove him wrong. Talked about Bo Horvat. Doesn't think he will retire a Canuck but is simply playing the odds. Talked about Bruce Boudreau and if he will be back. Talked about the bevy of sports this weekend. Excited for MLB opening day. The Jays have him eager for it. Masters is so special. Our Canucks reporter, JPat joined us. Naturally started talking about how Tiger did in his first round at the Masters. Not a perfect round but expectations were pretty low to start. To be within striking distance of the lead is pretty impressive. Talked about the resurgence of EP40. Thinks he needed 40 games after the layoff and injury last year. Doesn't want to compare him to Miller but noted that JT has a better production rate in the same amount of time. It was remarkably complete effort by Pettersson. For Jeff, it was the playmaking and the complete 200 foot game. Things that we haven't seen overall from start to finish. You hope that he can hit next season running with this lead up of 40 games. He will be without the contract distractions. Doesn't think the Petey took Allvin's comments personally. Talked about the special teams and turnaround in-season. JPat has never seen anything like it in his career with this club. Talked about Spencer Martin after reports of a one-way contract. Think's it's a good move to bring him up. When opportunity knocked, he was there. Nobody will forget the 50 saves vs EDM, even in a losing effort. You've hear this management talk about cap space. Talked about Bo Horvat. Logical side of the brain says he doesn't retire a Canuck. We don't truly know what this management group thinks of Bo. Not trying to run him out of town but will just say no at this point. There will be another uniform worn by Bo when it's all said and done. Talked about Brad Richardson. There was 8 years between game winning goals for him. Talked about Evander Kane and what he has done for the Oilers. Talked about Mike Bossy. JPat in his regular spot. Says the Canucks don't have superstars. He is in a golden era of dmen. Jeff listed off a number of very good young players that he will always be in the conversation with. Allvin was absolutely spot on. There is a long way to go before they can put anyone in that category. JT Miller is having an incredible season but it is not gaining the attention of anyone around the league. She is in Canada because of the shot he gave her. Talked about the chance she thinks Canada has in Men's world cup. Says that John can do anything. Two of the teams are incredible but there is nothing this team can't do. They are a threat in the counter attack, they get shutouts. He defends with a clean sheet mindset. When you look at the forwards they have, they can get anything done. The longer the game goes, the more pressure on them. Talked about the athleticism. Talked about the rapid decline of his health and who knew about it, after it seemed so sudden. He is a very complex character and to try to paint a portrait of such a complex individual is a challenge. Saw some dizzying highs and some very low, lows. Ian talked about all the star players who came through OTT under Melnyk. Says Eugene could turn on a dime. There were times he was very open with him and there were times where he was completely shut out. Ian wasn't alone in that. Melnyk alienated a lot of people in a lot of different regions of the city. Says the two things he deserves credit for are stepping up and buying the team in 03, after players didn't cheques to cash. The first 4 years are the greatest years of the team. Our Wednesday insider, Darren Dreger joined us on Tuesday to wrap up the trade deadline. Talked about the lack of star-power moving on deadline day. Talked about the DeBrusk situation. Obviously Sweeney didn't get what he was looking for. Player is hoping he can have a strong finish to the season. Talked about the business the Canucks need to get to. Doesn't know why VAN would truly entertain an idea of moving JT Miller unless they get an offer they like. Talked about the winners and losers of the trade market. Talked about the riff he started between Dubas and Davidson.  JPat joined us ahead of a road trip for the Canucks. Talked about the new guys who made the practice debut with the team today. It was Dermott slotting on the left side with Hunt moving over to the right. BB says he only ever knew Hunt as a right side guy. Otherwise there wasn't a whole lot going on. Talked about EP40 and the best way to deal with his wrist. Says there is nothing to the eye as far as tells that he isn't walking at 100%. Curious about where Dermott slides into the lineup and how the PK will look. Our regular Tuesday guest, Patrick Johnston, joined Matt and Blake for his thoughts on the trade deadline. Talked about Hamonic. Was a role player. Mostly not being leaned on for big minutes. Doesn't surprise PJ that there are some people that are happy that he is no longer in the room. PJ talked about Brock Boeser and the difficulty that it will take to sign him. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Jeff Paterson joined us from the arena, right off the top, for his initial thoughts of the job that the Canucks did. Says the return on Motte was low for what this market had been talking about. There was some expectation that there would be some more fireworks along the way. But it is what it is. The heavy lifting is being pushed to the off season. Talked about the return for Motte. Talked about Brad Richardson. The GM of the Canucks, Patrik Allvin, addressed the media after the trade deadline passed. PA talked about the trade of Tyler Motte and how they came to get a 4th rounder in 2023 for him. PA didn't really want to answer too much when it came to Boeser and Garland and if they were on the block at all. He says "no comment" on if they asked Halak to move his NMC. Our NHL Insider, John Shannon joined Matt and Blake in his regular Monday slot. Said he enjoyed taking a step back and not having to have all of his devices going at one time. Talked about Dermott. Says he likes the deal for the Canucks. He could be a future quality player. Never a top pairing but a smart guy who can play the game. The question for him was if he is in or out of the lineup. Never what side he was playing. John wouldn't lose any sleep about losing Tyler Motte. Agents will tell you there are lots of guys who can do what he does all summer long. Talked about losing Hamonic. Was surprised how well he has been playing as of late. It probably upped his stock price. Talked about what the off-season could look like for this team. By the end of the season they will know and execute the plan. They'll know what to do and how to do it. Talked about the Dubas vs Davidson spat that played out on the podium. Says that Dubas will have to sit down with Jack Campbell now and tell him exactly what played out. Talked about the Wild and their cap situation.  Jeff Paterson rejoined the show after all the deadline dealings finished. Told us that Richardson will wear 13 and Dermott with wear 24. Talked about what he took from the Allvin presser. He is understated, Jeff says, after he envoked the "no comment" more than he would have thought. Allvin recognizes they didn't check off a lot from their checklist. Talked about how the Motte dealings probably played out. Doesn't think it got close to an extention. Thinks that Halak could get the start against COL as a bit of an "oh you want to play"... Demko needs a rest. If it gets to 10 in COL... Talked more about Motte and how he worked his way into an everyday player in the lineup.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Our Friday insider, Rick Dhaliwal, joined us ahead of a back to back weekend and trade deadline. Talked about his fighting with Thomas Drance. Talked about JT Miller's agent getting into it on Canucks twitter. Talked about Canucks on the block like Garland and Schenn. Weighed into the NHL and who else could be on the move. Says this week has been quiet but it's starting to pick up and will see a lot of activity on the weekend.  JPat joined us in his regular slot to break down the game against the Red Wings and look ahead to the weekend that will be for this club. Was an entertaining game with much to talk about, even after a 1-0 game. Not ready to call the loss a death blow. What it does is again, removes another margin of error. They do have to get better over the final 20 games than as good as they've been under Boudreau. Need to take their game to a higher level. Highlighted the PK as an overarching part of their game for if they come up short. Says their home games have also been a place where they needed to be better. Talked about the Boeser miss in the 2nd. You can like some of the players and the person but that doesn't mean they have been good enough. Highlighted Boeser and Garland. Would have expected they should be at 55 combined but are at 31. Set up the weekend, starting with a visit from Calgary. JPat answered the poll questions from today.  Rob Williams of the Daily Hive joined in his regular slot to end the show on a Friday. Talked about the trade deadline and who could be on the move. Talked about Garland. Talked about Canucks firing their organist. Not officially fired but there hasn't been any organ playing the last 4 games. Sounds like a directive from above. Talked about all the event that are coming up in the city. Highlighted Nat Bailey with more games after moving up a few leagues. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Our Thursday regular, Vancouver Sportscaster, Scott Rintoul joined Matt and Blake in his regular slot. Talked about the Canucks winning games despite peak Demko. Talked about who he sees getting moved at the deadline, league wide. Talked about who the Seahawks could be targeting. Don't see them going the Mayfield route.  JPat joined us in his regular spot. Tells us that it's possible to go to bed in a playoff spot. It's absolutely crazy to think of when you think about where they were. You are required to scoreboard watch on a nightly basis. JPat doesn't see a way that Motte with be here by noon on Monday. Talked about Thatcher Demko and his usage. We don't fully know where his breaking point is, if you want to use that term. Talked about the run of form lately for the Red Wings. It's not good… Talked about agent twitter with Miller's agent chiming in.  Former Canucks AGM and Daily Face Off Contributor, Chris Gear joined Matt and Blake to talk about the upcoming trade deadline and what it looks like on the inside of an organization. Says it's weird to be focused on 32 teams, rather than just one. Talked about a few of the deals that have already happened. Talked about the Canucks. Says they have some choices to make with Motte. He is a bit of Swiss army knife. Talked about Boeser. They could reverse salary arbitrate if they want. Lots of options. Current management are very capable. Players take teams to arbitration all the time. There is nothing wrong with it even though it doesn't happen often but Chris thinks it's a viable option. Talked about Vegas. Talked about Edmonton. Goaltending has been a little better. They made a trade for Kane earlier so they may not want to tinker too much. If you have McDavid and Draisaitl, you need to make the playoffs. So Holland might be feeling it a little bit. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Talked about the potential of a Canucks and Leafs trade. Talked about the Vegas Golden Knights. Talked about who he thinks will be the biggest piece to move at the deadline. Says it's not a shocker but should be Giroux. Florida feels like the best fit. Hertl looks like he'll be resigning in SJS. Jeff Paterson joined us after a big Canucks win vs the Devils. Talked about how they got right back into the middle of things, playoff race wise. Talked about our poll question and who most deserves a contract extension. Certainly Lammikko deserves a need and raise in pay. Hands down it's Bruce, to answer the question. Talked about Scott Walker being back with the team. Was in the box last night, not sure when he will be back behind the bench after taking a puck to the head in a game. Talked about the defensive core. It's a bit of a cast of misfits but they have got way more mileage on this group. It hasn't slowed them down since the coach took over. Talked about the Canucks race for MVP, between Miller and Demko. Says that Thatcher wasn't even welcome on the ice at practice today. Talked about the incredible run of form the Botchford Project winners. Of the 6, 5 requested skaters and all 5 have scored on the day of. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Patrick Johnston of the Province joined Matt and Blake. Talked about Tyler Myers and the interest around the league. Says he was a reasonable partner with OEL but has regressed lately. A lot of things happen in many directions when he is on the ice. Sometimes they are good and sometimes they are bad. If he is on the third pair, that's fine. PJ has noticed that Bruce doesn't talk about him as much as he used too. Where he goes is whoever is most likely to pay that salary. OEL will be a lot harder to move because of the cap hit and they will have to take on some of that salary. Talked about Boeser. Our Canucks reporter, Jeff Paterson joined Matt and Blake in his usual spot. Started off talking about Tyler Myers and him actually having a full no-move. This changes things. Moving him would accomplish cap relief in one swing. Says that mistakes he makes are always amplified because of his size. Talked about when we could see EP40 back in the lineup. JPat answered our poll question as to who gets third place in the Pacific. Talked about Nic Petan making his Canucks debut. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Says there are no leaks coming out of this organization. There is something to be made of the Boeser talk. Hasn't heard much on Garland other than the obvious with his contract. Talked about how he is hearing more on Tyler Myers. The one name in the last 5 or 6 days that has surfaced more than Garland. Talked about three-team trades and what brings them about. Talked about Landeskog out till further notice and if it is at all tactical to keep from cap circumvention. Says that this is the one year COL has to win it. They will look a whole lot different next season. Talked about what EDM needs. They need a LD veteran. Talked about the Heritage Classic. Thinks they still have a place. Good crowds. They aren't national events. They are for the two teams that are playing. Super home games.    Our Canucks reporter, Jeff Paterson joined us after a busy weekend for the team. Talked about missing Elias Pettersson. Talked about what JT Miller might have said to rally the troops on Friday. JPat puts the slow starts on the players. Nothing Bruce can do when the puck drops. Talked about the leadership roll that Miller is playing and if he is at all stepping on the toes of Bo Horvat. Suggested that Bruce is also playing into this, as well. Talked about how long the Canucks should consider resigning Miller to. Noted the importance of him turning 29 today. Our Canucks insider, Rick Dhaliwal, of The Team joined Matt and Blake in his regular Friday slot. Thinks that the plan for Rutherford is to clear some cap space. They can't go into July with no room. Not a ton of pressure on this team with UFA's. Motte is the only one. If the trade deadline comes and they are only a point or two out, it'll be hard to move someone. Says that Motte is part of the best 4th line in hockey. He is in line for a raise. Rick doesn't see him accepting less than 2 million. Would be surprised if the Canucks and Pens didn't make a trade. Talked about if Allvin would have been frozen out of discussions while he was on his way out of PIT. Talked about Jaro Halak. Talked about potentially moving Myers. Clearly looking like Miller won't be moved. Seems like both sides would like to give it the old college try and get a deal done in the summer.  Our Canucks Reporter, Jeff Paterson joined us in his regular spot. Talked about who he thinks the better player is when it comes to Ovi and Jagr. Talked about how exciting the next few days will be for the team. Talked about Canuck players that could be up for awards this year. Even if they don't win, at least they were in the conversation. Doesn't see enough runway for JT Miller to make it into Hart consideration. Talked about moving out big contracts that don't belong to members of the core. The problem is guys like Myers play and play a lot. Talked about the 30 goal scorer, Brock Boeser that everyone believes he can be. This new management group has to be happy with the way he has played since the coaching change.  Rob Williams of the Daily Hive joined Matt and Blake for his regular Friday social hit. Started off by chatting about Rogers Arena moving to a maskless policy. As close to normal as we've felt. Noted that it was pretty much 100% compliance in the concourse. This will be the first reintroduction into a maskless society. Talked about when we could see some of these special jerseys for sale or on the ice for the game. Scott Rintoul joined Matt and Blake in his usual Thursday. Answered the poll question and if the season has been salvaged, despite the team potentially not making the playoffs. Talked about what he thinks we will see at the game tomorrow when Ovi gets here. Thinks there will be more of a positive support for Ukraine, rather than negative energy for Russia. Could also see him move past Jagr for 3rd all-time in goals. That will bring a different energy. Said that Boeser got the big night he needed. Talked about Allvin saying the phone hasn't rung as much as he said it will. Talked about Wilson to Denver. Said he set the table for it last year. If you didn't think him getting moved was a possibility, you were kidding yourself. Surprised they didn't get an A player back for him. A lot of draft capital but he was the best player in the team's history. This is a litmus test for getting it done in the draft. Addressed rumours of perhaps Brady to San Fran. Not discounting it completely. Our Canucks reporter, Jeff Paterson joined us after a late affair with MTL. Doesn't know how Habs won 7 of 8 coming in after the way they looked last night. Questioned Marty St. Louis and his tactics with pulling the goalie. Talked about Boeser's game. Talked about the scoring from the back end. This is the 12th time this season that they have reached 5 goals. 10 of those 12 have come under Boudreau. 7 of them have come since the all-star break. Can't say the season has been salvaged. They went all in on the moves last year for playoffs and they aren't there yet. The team hasn't lost back to back games since the middle of January. Talked about the reception Ovi will get. Says that this is a different scenario for Rutherford. He usually plugs holes. It's not that they don't want to qualify for the playoffs but the needs of the Canucks go deeper than that. Everyone deeply wants to keep it competitive. They are less in buyer mode but patient-seller mode. Dregs knows that teams are calling on Motte but he also knows how valued he is in this organization. Talked about a deal between PIT and VAN. Talked about the future of Bruce Boudreau as a coach in Vancouver.  Our Canucks reporter, Jeff Paterson joined us in his regular slot. With the exception of the game in Jersey, the others were thrillers. Talked about what Miller and Bruce could have been chatting about on the bench. Thinks there is a trust factor there with player and coach. His one to one people skills are quite evident. That's probably all it was. Two guys, there, who like hockey. That's what they could have been talking about. Talked about Jake Virtanen. He has a court date scheduled for tomorrow. Talked about the specialty jerseys that continue to be home runs.  Jeff Paterson joined us and right away pointed out the interesting schedule right now that has the Canucks with a few days off. However, looking forward to the Habs in town tomorrow. Talked about the majority of this home-stand being against out of conference opponents. Looking forward to getting back to normal, hopefully next year. Talked about what JT and Bruce could have been talking about. Talked more about JT Miller. Agreed that there is a bit of Kesler in him. Not always in a good mood but that is being human. Talked about Quinn Hughes saying this is the best team he has been on. JPat was a bit surprised because there have been some good stretches. Talked about the Habs and the troubles they are having getting offence from the d-core. They are last in the league, by a lot. Talked about the specialty jerseys.  Our Seahawks insider, Gregg Bell joined us on the day Russell Wilson got traded. Started off with a mea culpa after 2 years of saying this would never happen. Talked about Drew Lock. They have the resources to go out and get a better one than him. Could see a guy like Pete Carroll picking up DeShaun Watson but the moral and legal issues that would come with that, Gregg can't see it happening. Thinks that Kenny Pickett will be the first QB to go, hand size be damned. Gregg is still trying to wrap his head around a 70 year old coach going through a rebuild. Hawks now have 35 millions more in cap than they did yesterday. Thinks that they will go out and sign Metcalf now. Talked about Noah Fant and Shelby Harris. Talked about the Broncos that Seattle didn't get. Thinks that someone would have back up a bigger Brinks truck. Talked about how the 12's are feeling. Says they are not happy.
