Coleman & Tim talk about the PlayStation Meeting and more before being joined by Nicoll Hunt from I Fight Bears. The post BRB UK 209: PlayStation 4 No? appeared first on BigRedBarrel.
Hi-de-Hi dear listener, you doing well? It's BRB UK one again with Coleman & Tim to take the lead on reporting about all of those pesky video games. But wait, there's more… Sony's PlayStation Meeting has been and gone so it looks like that's going to need some breaking down too. If that wasn't enough, I Fight Bears' Nicoll Hunt has returned to the show to talk about Fist of Awesome, 8-Bit Waterslide and his newest games, Maximum Car. Here's what you can expect to hear about this week: Everything from the PlayStation Meeting like the PlayStation 4 Slim, PlayStation 4 Pro & more. New features coming to Xbox One's Preview Program. Nintendo announces its second mobile title with Super Mario Run. Titanfall 2 absent from EA & Origin Access. Tim plays the colourful Hue. Coleman continues with Worms W.M.D & Abzû.
This week is a little different as we have a few team members that will not be coming back to the show and another that's in the middle of flying from New Zealand to the UK, so will cut Chris some slack. But I've managed to grab 2 great interview/chats that we did on the OUG Talks Podcast.First up is Nicoll Hunt from I Fight Bears about his new game Maximum Cars and then I chat with Don Wilkins and his new game (That's just about to go into early access on Steam) Stellar Tactics. As always please check out our website OneUpGaming.co.uk and OUGTech.co.uk

As a week that's going to be chock-full of news looms, it seems that the gaming world is having a week off. But, undeterred by the abject lack of stuff to talk about, Dan and Tim are joined by Dave, officially everyone's favourite Texan, to chew the fat and generally waffle on about the week that was. This week, we burble about: Xbox Infinity rumours The (presumably) fake PS4 reveal video Borderlands 2's bandit class Nimble Quest (iOS/Android) Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on The Move (3DS eShop) Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate (3DS) Tim interviews Nicoll Hunt, creator of the upcoming Kickstarter success Fist of Awesome We appreciate you chaps and chapettes taking time out of your week to listen to our show. These days, publishers and journalists love to talk about how big a business games are. Just a single big title can bring in billions of pounds and keep thousands of employed, for example, while even indie developers can succeed admirably. The less talked-about side effect of all this though is that when games do fail, they fail hard. Our guest this episode knows this all too well. In addition to working on the usual spate of cancelled games, Nicoll Hunt also worked on one of the biggest gaming flops ever, APB. Now, Nicoll discusses what that collapse looked like from the inside and why Realtime Worlds went out of business.
After a year and a half, we finally get our stuff together and produce something actually worth listening to. We interview Nicoll Hunt, producer of upcoming iOS and Android game Fists of Awesome to find out what it's like developing his indie game and working on the Ouya. On top of that, we have the usual rambling nonsense in what we've been playing and the news, while in our community interaction section we find out which football manager you shouldn't pick a fight with.
