Betsy's attempts to break Kate go nowhere this week, even when the book is being discussed is the most detail-heavy title of this podcast to date. Now Kate starts off this episode saying that she does NOT want to talk about the presidential race. Indeed, this was recorded on Thursday, and you all know how different the world was then. Quote Kate, she just wanted to do a book about "cute cats and slugs". And for the first time ever, that is a request Betsy can accommodate. The end result is still a bit of a deep dive. Just not an extensive one. For the full Show Notes please visit: http://blogs.slj.com/afuse8production/2020/11/09/fuse-8-n-kate-animalia-by-graeme-base/

Suffice to say, Kate knows what top companies are looking for in marketing leaders (and she knows the marketing leaders who can get the job done). In this episode, Kate and Tricia talk about everything a CMO is (and is not), plus why now is the time for CMOs to rally their companies around brand and experience.Like this episode? Marketing Your E-Commerce Products on Instagram (Without Being Spammy) A lot of entrepreneurs find it quite challenging to grow their e-commerce business on Instagram. This is why I really wanted to highlight today’s podcast guest because she is doing a beautiful job in marketing her e-commerce products on the Gram without being spammy. Today’s guest is, Kate Patch, a Member of The Social Method Society, a mum of two, and the chaos coordinator and chief boss lady behind Heritage Blankets, an e-commerce business. She aspires to be more present and to take life as it comes whilst embracing the wild chaos and seasons motherhood brings. Often you will find Kate designing new baby blanket collections, crushing on floral prints and loving all things pretty. During this episode, Kate is going to share how she has grown her e-commerce business on Instagram and what the deep relationships and friendships that she's made within the Social Method Society has made possible for her as a young mother in business. Key Takeaways: >> [0:30] Thank you so, so much for tuning into the Mums With Hustle Podcast each and every week. It is amazing to have such a vast community of women who are ambitious and heart centered. >> [1:15] I have been reading some recent reviews and they absolutely light me up. Today's guest is Kate Patch, a member of The Social Method Society and a mum of two, and the chaos coordinator and chief boss lady behind Heritage Blankets. She aspires to be more present and to take life as it comes whilst embracing the wild chaos and seasons motherhood brings. Often you will find Kate designing new baby blanket collections, crushing on floral prints and loving all things pretty. >> [6:58] Kate has always been an entrepreneur at heart, and when she started her business as a bit of a side hustle, she decided to invest in her growth and her business. >> [9:52] A lot of entrepreneurs find it quite challenging to grow their e-commerce business on Instagram. So how has Kate been approaching Instagram without seeming spammy? How is Kate showing up on Instagram? Kate didn’t realise how to use Instagram properly, so she invested in my flagship course Hashtag Hustle. Now Kate uses Instagram as a connection point where she’s only trying to grow a community rather than sell to them. Stop thinking about how to get people to engage with you and start thinking about how you can engage with them. >> [14:40] Kate recently had a personal revelation that she shared so vulnerably inside of the Social Method Society. And I have asked her prior to this episode, if she’s open to sharing that revelation here on the podcast because it hit home for a lot of her Society Sisters. From sharing this revelation, Kate discovered she wasn’t alone and it was important for the other women to learn that they aren't alone either!! When we talk openly about our experience - even the less fun parts and the messy realities... it lifts any shame and makes way for growth! >> [16:10] Kate had to realise where she was wasting time and how she could prioritise the most important tasks. She wasn’t able to step away from her business to also spend quality time with her family. There was a disconnection between how much time she was spending on her business and how much time she was spending on her phone. Now, Kate puts her phone away when she’s working.
Today our rockstar client Kate shares exactly what she did to create amazing results in her business as a relationship coach. Kate overcame a ton of challenges and diligently worked on her old funnel, her pricing, her limiting mindset, and her marketing, which resulted in her going from burnt-out and defeated to earning more in four days than she did the entire previous year! After all of her hard work following the system and implementing the suggestions from our team, Kate refers to what happened as a “seismic shift.” Now Kate can focus on growing her business to help women find the love they deserve and get out of relationships that are no longer healthy for them. This is just the tip of the iceberg for Kate, so listen in and see what happens when you show up coachable, committed and resourceful. In this episode we talk about: Previously the way Kate got her clients was hustling at networking events. This was time-consuming and required her to be out every night. Then she took an online course on doing online ads and webinars and that helped, but she didn’t feel that it gave her the total support and structure that she needed. One of the biggest lessons Kate learned was to put her need to be liked and her ego aside and just focus on how she could SERVE and better her client's lives. Kate closed two high-ticket sales on New Year’s Eve which earned her enough to join COD. Working on her limiting beliefs and stories was one of the most powerful challenges Kate worked on to see a shift in her world both internally and with her clients. Kate is now turning away clients, which is something she never thought she could do. She is attracting more of the RIGHT client and is now able to outsource some of the work to make sure she is available to serve her clients at the highest level. Speaking of Partnership: Personal Stories of the Power and Payoffs of Partnership
Kate Bull is a Bold Self Love Coach and Creator of Bold Self Love TV She helps people to deeply love all of who they are and courageously shift their internal conditioning and blocks so they can create a space to step into living a full and epic life, in the way they truly want. Guiding Principle, Quote or Mantra Nobody can give me what I can’t give to myself. You are you’re own guru. When You Tripped Up Kate was in a relationship for about 6 months and for the first time she was thinking that she could see a future with this guy. She was thinking that she could either have the relationship or her business and she was leaning toward the relationship. Then she received a call from a women she did not know who said she was also in a relationship with the man Kate was. Her world was turned upside down. What she learned is people come and go in life, and if you don’t have a strong relationship with yourself then these departures will rock your world. Proudest moment in partnership Kate met up with Henare O’Brien ( speakingofpartnership.com/35 (https://speakingofpartnership.com/35) ) when he was creating a community program called Connecting Kids. At the time she was feeling really lost and alone in her life. Henare saw within her the potential to be a leader and asked her to co-lead on the project with him. Kate stepped into the role and he helped her see that she had the same qualities she saw in him. All of the sudden she stepped into doing things she never thought she could do. Now Kate helps people see their own potential through partnering with someone who they look up to or are inspired by. And help them recognize that the reason they are inspired is because that is the qualities they have within themselves. Partnering with a leader to bring out the leader in her was definitely one of her proudest moments. What is the best partnership / relationship advice you have ever received? Love yourself first. This allows her to be with people and feel like it’s a growth experience rather than using someone else to fill her tank. If looking for a mentor partnership, look for people who direct you back to you.
