Saurabh Kikani starred in a one-man show, Baccalaureate, in early 2020. The show is about Saurabh's brief time at Oxford, figuring out love and life.He also produced the independent film, Miss India America, which starred Hannah Simone and Tia Sircar. The film was directed by Ravi Kapoor.
I originally met Saurabh at a show we did together in Hollywood, 2 months later we were apart of the same solo performance festival for an Asian American comedy production called Crazy Woke Asian which show cases Asian American Comedians. We immediately bonded for our obsession for hip hop and MFDOOM and had the same premises for bits without stealing from one another so I dmed him if he liked whiskey and one week latewe are on my podcast shooting the shit. He is a Lawyer who graduated from Ucla who resided in New York for 7 1/2 years and currently gets contracted to fly around the world and to protect people from voter fraud aka electing Donald Trump again. He sits down with me over a bottle of Jack an insightful talk about hip hop, comedy, politics, culture and coming from immigrant parents. You can follow him on instagram @sk1comed and twitter @skikani

This week, Jay ( (https://twitter.com/skikani) takes a perfectly good franchise and mucks it up with racism, an awful love interest, and a bevy of other things that Steven Spielberg came up with while in the dark depths of divorce. Support this podcast

After hearing from the Super Duper Movie Producer Megha Kadakia last week, it was only right to hear from the other part of this amazing partnership. Megha's husband Saurabh Kikani joins us this week and helped us create maybe our funniest episode ever. Akaash did a spit take during recording, I was in tears I was laughing so hard and Saurabh was just killing it. All because we started talking about how dating an Indian woman was a pain in the ass (fear not women listeners, it was all from love.). We also talked about how he grew up in completely white towns, his ties to South Asian culture, how he inherited a social misfit mentality from his father, and how he was a complete doofus in the way he pursued Megha. As if that wasn't enough, Saurabh clues us in to how he came to be on the board of the International Hip Hop Museum! You won't wanna miss this amazing episode so press play NOW!
