Fanatik came across a tweet where a guy asked a girl out in the DM's and she said she'd do it if he got 3,000 retweets, whats wrong with this generation? (27:02). They discuss why Zambian Hip Hop artist Bobby East asking his South African peer Casper Nyovest for a feature on Twitter was wrong, this starts with them trying to figure out where Lil Wayne stands in the culture right now (47:01). The guys bring up a tweet that made rounds on social media that said their friend Sandi Chimpala donated blood after she found out someone needed it. Apparently Fanatik doesn't know what blood group he belongs to (1:03:23). Zambian opaque beer 'Chibuku Shake Shake' was voted the 20th most admired brand on the African continent and so His Worship, the Mayor of Lusaka Miles Sampa decided he will drink it everyday. The guys talk about the need to make the brand cool and a suggestion that came up was to have cocktails made out of it. They even call popular Chef, Katala to give his thoughts (1:07:19). How important is trust in a relationship? This question is asked after Fanatik tells 2 stories of men putting trackers in their wives cars to know their whereabouts (1:18:47). They trade hilarious experiences "Other people" had at lodges with emphasis on soap and top it off with a debate on the different levels of prostitution (34:29). American rapper Kodak Black caught flack for saying he'd want to hook up with Lauren London after her Boyfriend Nipsey Hussle passed away. The question raised here is, if there is a way for you know what people think of you after you pass away, would you utilize it? (1:06:06). Zambian political party NDC won the Roan Parliamentary by-elections by a considerable margin, is the PF losing its ground and what lessons can be learnt from former Zambian President Rupiah Banda losing general elections in 2012? The guys then give their take on Zambia getting funding from donors cut off because of alleged corruption. (40:38). Zambian Hip-Hop artist Tiye-P features on this week’s episode of the podcast. He is easily one of the most creative acts in his field and that can be heard in the music he puts out, that particular aspect trickles down to the what he presents as artwork for the singles he releases, the latest being very controversial. He took the Last Supper painting by Leonardo da Vinci and added a dancer on a pole to promote his single ‘Party Harder’ that features Reverb, Slapdee & Jay Rox, he explained why he did that. He announced that the only website that is allowed to put out his music is mdundo.com, he talked about why he arrived at making that decision. His forthcoming album called the RED Album is one of the most anticipated in Zambia and he revealed some very important aspects of it that you won’t find anywhere else but here. Tiye-P also touched on the time he was on the streets, being part of a scheme to rob people, he gave an account of how his friends would pick pockets while he was the watch. The rapper talked about how there are many rappers that try to sound like him and pointed out a particular case that really caught his attention and he is planning on engaging that person so they could work together. During the course of 2016, he was caught up in a brief spat with fellow rapper Muzo, he explained how the beef started and why son’d him on social media real bad. Tiye-P gave interesting insight on how rappers handle groupies, you definitely have to listen to that.
