People are obsessed with the brand-new horror film Obsession. Directed by YouTuber-turned-filmmaker Curry Barker and starring Michael Johnston and Inde Navarrette, the movie tells the story of a young man who uses a mystical object known as a “One Wish Willow” to make his longtime crush fall in love with him, only to discover that some wishes come with terrifying consequences. The fictional One Wish Willow, from the mind of Curry Barker, has blurred the line between fantasy and reality. As part of the film's marketing campaign, replica One Wish Willows were sold online and quickly sold out, with many people jokingly, and in some cases seemingly seriously, hoping to use them to get their wishes granted. While some may be tongue-in-cheek, we live in a culture where manifesting, spell-casting, witchcraft, and other forms of modern magic have become increasingly mainstream. Millions openly seek supernatural power, guidance, and fulfillment outside of God. In this episode, we'll examine the growing fascination with magic and manifestation, and we'll show how celebrities such as Robert Downey Jr., Vanessa Hudgens, Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly, and others have openly discussed their involvement with witchcraft, ritual practices, spell work, manifestation, and other occult beliefs. We'll compare these practices with what Scripture teaches and expose the spiritual dangers hidden behind the culture's obsession with getting whatever it desires. Welcome back to the Daily Metal Breakdown. In today's episode, we break down a serious new civil lawsuit hitting Tool, Puscifer, and A Perfect Circle frontman Maynard James Keenan in Arizona, where a former management partner alleges a retaliatory corporate freeze-out over their craft gin venture. Plus, legendary bass icon Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy, Quiet Riot, Whitesnake, DIO) drops a massive curveball by announcing independent solo material heavily inspired by the pristine engineering of the late-1970s Yacht Rock movement. Finally, we look at Machine Gun Kelly powering through a grueling two-hour set after a violent, failed after-party roof jump left him with a severe back injury. What You'll Hear in This Episode: Boardroom Battles: The full operational breakdown of the civil complaint filed against Maynard James Keenan in Maricopa County over Potions LLC and Thirteen Moons Gin. Whistleblower Retaliation Allegations: Why plaintiff Dave Sanclemente claims he was locked out of the company books just one month after reporting alleged misconduct at Keenan's outside business operations. Rudy Sarzo Goes Independent: The legendary timekeeper details his new studio tracking approach, bypassing record labels to honor his early Miami roots with clean, bass-forward arrangements. Thursday, June 11, 2026Josh is back in studio with Brock for another full morning of best-friend chaos, and the trending thread is all about the best and worst summer jobs people have ever had. Josh shares that working at Kwik Trip was one of his easier jobs, while his worst summer job was helping with drywall and insulation for his uncle's construction company—complete with itchy pink insulation that would not come off no matter how many showers he took.Listeners chime in with everything from cutting grass while allergic to pollen, working restaurant dish pits, doing construction in Norway, cleaning up awful maintenance jobs, working as a dockhand at a marina, caddying on the LPGA Tour, and even teaching juggling at summer camp. Brock also shares that his worst job was working at McDonald's for a month just to pay off a speeding ticket. The show gets into plenty of “What the Heck” stories, including police in Washington using new translation tech to communicate across 50 languages, FIFA banning vuvuzelas from the World Cup, and two guys in Los Angeles filming themselves hitting golf balls into traffic and buildings downtown like complete idiots.Brock and Josh also test how old they are with classic commercial jingles from Folgers, Band-Aid, Oscar Mayer, and Alka-Seltzer, then roll through random facts about moonwalking astronauts, the worst-rated beers in the world, laughter burning calories, Wyoming's tallest building, and the very strange sound effects used for the raptors in Jurassic Park.In the 7 AM Challenge, Josh plays a “what do these have in common?” game and manages to figure out clues involving wagons, weeds, pranks, flags, gardens, bowling alleys, and the oldest jewelry store in the United States. Later, the guys talk about Taylor Swift performing at the Toy Story 5 premiere with Randy Newman, her rumored bridesmaids, and Tom Hanks joking about colonoscopy prep competitions with Martin Short and Steve Martin. The episode also includes a good news story about a Canadian woman helping save her neighbor's life with CPR after his 12-year-old son came to her door for help. Brock and Josh then talk basketball, sore legs, backwards beach days, phrases people say wrong, celebrity gossip, Matt Damon becoming “Nomad” for charity, Supergirl's pierced ears, Machine Gun Kelly's tattoo regret, tiny towns, World Cup events in Northwest Arkansas, and things professionals should never say.The show wraps with Josh finishing out another morning in studio, plans for the lake, Suno songs, breakup-song talk, Olivia Rodrigo comparisons, and one last push for everyone to go buy some furniture at Sam's.

Machine Gun Kelly starred in a movie? Hmm. Wait, he also co-directed? Uh. WAIT, HE ALSO CO-WROTE IT?! Lord. That's right, the guys chat about Good Mourning, which has to be at the tippy-top of the list of worst premises of all-time for a movie. Machine Gun Kelly and his phone contacts made a movie and it sucks. From mgk's terrible audition reel scene, the idea of Tom Arnold playing the director of a Batman movie, the true story that this is based on and the insanely uncomfortable blooper reel, it's... all here. Alcatraz prison in California, built on a small, rocky island in the Bay of San Francisco, operated from the time of the US Civil War in the 1860s until it was closed in 1963. The island's remote location made it the perfect site for a prison, but this location also made it expensive to maintain, and the cost of maintenance finally led to its closure. During the years it operated, Alcatraz housed many infamous prisoners including Al Capone and Machine Gun Kelly, but the one prisoner whose nickname is synonymous with the prison is The Birdman of Alcatraz. Why am I telling you about Alcatraz and its prisoners? Because this episode is about Robert Stroud, better known as the Birdman of Alcatraz. You may not associate Stroud with Alaska, but he was originally incarcerated for a murder he committed in Juneau. Robert Stroud spent 54 years in prison, and he was in solitary confinement for 42 of those years. He is one of Alaska's most famous criminals. Sources: Bovsun, Mara. Legend says Machine Gun Kelly surrendered while shouting "Don't shoot, G-Men!"—a phrase modern historians believe was a total FBI fabrication. This episode investigates the psychology of narrative framing. We look at how "fictionalized truth" is used by law enforcement to induce compliance in suspects and support from taxpayers. We'll discuss the forensic implications of fabricated "eyewitness" accounts in institutional history and how these myths create a psychological "shorthand" for authority that persists in the modern era.

This week on Page 7, Jackie and MJ are joined by Holden McNeely, who's filled with (justified) hatred for the Star Wars prequels, Machine Gun Kelly has his aim set on nu metal as he drops a song with Fred Durst, and "Michael" makes some creative choices that leave out quite a large portion of his life. The Onion and Tim Heidecker are takin' Info Wars from Alex Jones and he's crashing out hard, Keegan-Michael Key's wife may have caused a massive implosion in his career, and they're actually gonna release the "Coyote vs ACME" movie! Then it's time for a list of celebrities who canceled their weddings at the veeery last minute, the blindz, and then a Jackie's Snackies starting at 1:11:14.057 that's a BETRAYAL ON ALL LEVELS, and then a savory golden MJ's Minute Munchies at 1:18:09.733 until 1:27:30.244, PLUS SO MUCH MOOORE!!! Welcome back to The Rizzuto Show—your favorite comedy podcast where the topics don't matter and the chaos is guaranteed. This episode kicks off with Moon dropping knowledge bombs in “Fact Man” that nobody asked for but somehow we all needed—like the origin of Mountain Dew and why it sounds like something your uncle definitely brewed in a shed. From there, things take a turn into surprisingly heartfelt territory as Lern shares stories about the late Dave Mason… including a real-life celebrity sighting at Whole Foods that involved clam chowder, mild stalking, and zero regrets. But don't worry—we don't stay emotional for long. This comedy podcast quickly pivots into absolute nonsense with a breakdown of the new Machine Gun Kelly and Fred Durst track that has the studio split between nostalgia and “what did I just hear?” There's also talk of Morgan Wallen donating big money (redemption arc?), Joe Buck hosting sports Jeopardy (sure, why not), and one of the strangest almost-marriages involving Aubrey Plaza and Michael Cera that honestly feels fake—but isn't.We also get into wild stories from Hollywood, including Rihanna absolutely leveling Michael Cera on set (yes, for real), and a genuinely inspiring update on Elizabeth Smart that somehow leads into a discussion about bodybuilding competitions… which quickly becomes a terrible idea we're all considering anyway. And because no episode is complete without a completely unnecessary argument, we wrap things up debating the greatest action movies of all time—where feelings get hurt, opinions get loud, and nobody agrees on anything. If you're into a comedy podcast that mixes celebrity gossip, weird news, random facts, and a group of people who absolutely should not be trusted with microphones—this episode delivers.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Interview Date: July 14th, 2025Episode Summary:Eden Shabtai shares how a kid from a tiny Israeli kibbutz—obsessed with MTV and training in ballet and modern—willed her way into New York's scene and eventually L.A.'s major stages. She opens up about the unglamorous decade of artist development, underpaid gigs, and nonstop outreach that built the foundation for her “overnight” break assisting on Chris Brown's Loyal, leading to major award shows and TV. A six-month backpacking trip through India reshaped her idea of success, while the O-1 visa process taught ruthless persistence. Eden also speaks candidly about receiving an aggressive breast-cancer diagnosis while five months pregnant, undergoing chemo with cold-cap treatments, and protecting her peace by avoiding toxic workrooms.Creatively, Eden explains why she builds choreography live in the studio—feeding off dancers and music—and why energy, individuality, and attitude matter more than stacked résumés. Listeners will gain insight into using social media strategically, differences between NYC training and L.A. work volume, how to stand out in auditions (presence, styling, quick adjustments), and the mindset that sustains a career: humility, resilience, and community.Shownotes:(0:00) – Welcome and guest introduction(8:20) – Early roots: ballet, modern, MTV influence(13:53) – India trip reframes success and happiness(15:24) – Visa grind: persistence, evidence, good lawyer(18:53) – Moving to L.A.: training vs. booking realities(21:08) – Breakthrough: assisting on “Loyal”(26:44) – Favorite projects: BET 2014, Fleur East(29:31) – Cancer while pregnant: resilience and boundaries(42:05) – Creative process: energy-first choreography(51:19) – What makes dancers stand outBiography:Originally from a kibbutz in northern Israel, Eden began training in ballet and modern at age 7. With no formal hip-hop classes available at the time, she learned by watching MTV. Determined to pursue dance professionally, she left home at 16 to study at a specialized dance school. After serving in the IDF, she spent six transformative months traveling India before moving to New York City to chase her dream. In NYC, Eden trained at Broadway Dance Center and quickly became a sought-after teacher for over 150 young students while choreographing for up-and-coming artists. Realizing her long-term goals required a move west, she relocated to Los Angeles in 2010.Since then, Eden has worked across NBC, ABC, BET, FOX, CBS, VH1, CW, and MTV. Her credits include the VMAs, Grammys, Billboard Awards, Dancing with the Stars, iHeart Radio Awards, BET Awards, Soul Train Awards, X Factor, The Ellen Show, James Corden, American Idol, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, and more. She has choreographed campaigns for Hasbro, Office Max, Office Depot, HEB, and Clark's.Eden has worked with artists including Chris Brown, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Pitbull, Ava Max, Jason Derulo, Enrique Iglesias, Jamie Foxx, Ne-Yo, Lil Wayne, Marc Anthony, Flo-Rida, Brandy, Omarion, Miguel, Pia Mia, Little Mix, Sevyn Streeter, No Doubt, Snoop Dogg, Kehlani, Janelle Monáe, Fleur East, Priyanka Chopra, Machine Gun Kelly, Tinashe, WizKid, Serayah, DJ Snake, Hardwell, YungBlud, Jack & Jack, and many more.In 2017 Eden served as a Judge/Mentor on a new Israeli dance competition series, where she became the winning mentor. Today she works as a choreographer, artistic director, artist developer, and consultant—living by her belief that with hard work, mental strength, and determination, anything is possible.Connect:Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/theedengarden/Website – https://edenshabtai.com/
