A DOLL! A DOLL! MONSTER PARTY WANTS A DOLL! JAMES GONIS, SHAWN SHERIDAN, LARRY STROTHE, and MATT WEINHOLD, gather virtually together to get weirded out over some very creepy toys. They're way more than just innocent playthings, they're... DEADLY DOLLS! Surprisingly, we've never actually devoted an entire episode on dolls until now, but what we came up with is sure to make you cry, "Mommy!" Aside from covering the bigger names in the doll horror genre like Chucky, Annabelle, the Zuni Fetish Doll, and Talkie Tina, we also explore the various villainous ventriloquist dolls from films like The Great Gabbo, Dead of Night, Devil Doll, Magic, and TV shows like The Twilight Zone, Batman The Animated Series, and Goosebumps. If that were not enough, MONSTER PARTY salutes the lesser-known scary doll films like Dolly Dearest, Black Devil Doll from Hell, Asylum, Pin, Deep Red, and many more! We also explore the horror that accompanied the some of the more bizarre real toy dolls that were marketed to children. And if you think we left out voodoo dolls, stick a pin in yourself to save us the trouble. THIS EPISODE FEATURES JUST THE MONSTER PARTY GANG AND IS AN EXAMPLE OF THE TYPE OF WHITE-KNUCKLE EXCITEMENT YOU GET WHEN FOUR NERDS TALK ABOUT DOLLIES!
Welcome back fellow horror hounds! Dave and Tom are back after a relaxing summer sipping drinks by the Poltergeist pool. For our inaugural episode the gang bring serious average dick energy with the movie Fear No Evil (1981). Next up is the classic haunted house film Burnt Offerings (1976), directed by TV-movie-of-the-week legend Dan Curtis (cue the Zuni Fetish Doll). Burnt Offerings is a star studded affair with Karen Black, Bette Davis, Burgess Meredith and the notorious drunkard and Hammer Horror star Oliver Reed. Finally rounding out the episode is a continuation of the Necronomicon mythology, Evil Dead Rise (2023). Also! We got 88 cents! Tom brings the episode to a full stop by going on a rant about sloppy head (the wetter, the better). Dave is still talking about Chaos! Tom wants to make you a shirt! Androgynous Satan spawn! Tom reads off the punani box! Dave hates ASMR! Plus a million undertones of Gay! Enjoy! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/tohellwiththispodcast/support

Terrifying things come in small packages! Welcome one and all to our new off-week format, where we make a meal out of one story from a horror anthology - we call it Kill By Kill: Bite Size! This week, we bring home the standout segment from 1972's TRILOGY OF TERROR entitled Amelia - but you know it better for its antagonist, the Zuni Fetish Doll!! Along the way, we talk about creating distance between yourself and a clingy Mom, Richard Matheson: Man of Many Ideas, explore all the insane wallpaper choices, consider Karen Black's subtle acting choices, test market depression figurines, connect the dots between this segment and other 70s and 80s horror classics, and delve into the activities of this apartment's many mice!! Our newest episode is in the can and ready to ripped into by the Zuni Fetish Doll. That's right, we're discussing Trilogy of Terror, and the rare Karen Black TVM The Strange Possession of Mrs. Oliver. Enjoy!
