Freak Week day 3 is here, and todays episode is all about the Michigan Dogman. He’s a 7 foot tall, yellow eyed canine creature, with the body of a human and a screaming howl. He first appeared in Michigan folklore in the late 1800s. Since then, more claims from around the country and the globe have popped up, but are they all related or is the Dogman exclusively a Michigan resident?

Welcome to Freak Week! This week we are giving you 5 spooky episodes back to back in celebration of Halloween! Up first: Campfire Chronicles. We asked you to send us your creepy, weird, and all around abnormal stories, and wow did ya'll deliver! We share some of them on this episode, and wish we could share them all! We will make this a periodic thing as long as the stories keep coming, so send us your strange and unusual campfire tales!

On Christmas Eve of 1945, Jennie and George Sodder were asleep along with 9 of their children when a fire startled them awake. Their home was burned to the ground within 45 minutes, allowing only Jennie, George, and 4 of their children to escape. The remaining 5 children, between the ages of 5-14, did not make it out, nor were any of their remains found in the rubble. The children were dismissed to have been burned to cremation in the fire, although the Sodders almost immediately began to question the odd occurrences that surrounded the days and hours leading up to the fire. The children are still unaccounted for to date, but what led to the fire and lack of answers? Was it George's mysterious childhood in Italy prior to immigrating to the US, his public outspoken political reputation, a bad deal with a local banker, mafia troubles, or were they simply targeted by some unknown dark individuals? Bob Lazar came out as a whistleblower in the late 1980's with claims that he was hired to reverse engineer an alien spacecraft at a secret testing site called S-4, located just south of Area 51. He says that the specific craft he studied was fueled by non-Earthly antigravity matter called Element 115. Attempted shootings, more marriages, more mysterious deaths, missing children, and a heart wrenching conclusion... all in the name of this doomsday fuckery. What has unraveled from there is so unbelievably wild, from doomsday cults, to multiple suspicious deaths close to Lori, cover ups, plus countless lies and contradicting stories that followed her for years. Details are still coming to light even today that just continue to make our heads spin trying to understand what exactly happened to JJ and Tylee. Here is a special previously recorded episode that was archived, and thanks to quarantine we are bringing it out! If you haven't heard of the Dyatlov Pass Incident, you are in for a major head spinning unsolved mystery. In 1959, the frozen bodies of 9 hikers were found after they had gone missing weeks earlier after setting off on an expedition in the northern Urals of the Soviet Union. Their campsite, which they were found near, was on a mountain called Kholat Syakhl, which translates to "Dead Mountain" in the indigenous Mansi language. Investigators were completely baffled by what they found, and to this day the gruesome state of their bodies, strange injuries, and the circumstances surrounding the incident have not been able to be explained. Welcome back! For some reason this episode has taken us a couple of weeks to put together. Our equipment was being funky, the program we use was being funky, WE were being funky. Something must have been out to try to stop us, but alas, here it is - Shadow People. The dark figure you see from the corner of your eye that disappears when you turn to look at it. Something that is described as lying somewhere between the spirit world and the physical. This wild story (train wreck) of exotic pet trade, animal abuse, polygamy, cults, an epic feud, revenge, and alleged murder for hire has sent us down the rabbit hole(s). One story line this series only touched upon has stirred up enough buzz to call for the reopening of a cold case of a man named Don Lewis, who went missing under mysterious circumstances in 1997. At the time of his disappearance, Don happened to be married to one of the most infamous people in this series - Carole Baskin. And while the series definitely hints at the clouded suspicion hanging over Carole, we were still left with way more questions than answers, so we decided to dive in to this. Bryce Laspisa was last seen on August 30, 2013, after displaying odd behavior in the days leading up to his disappearance. His car was found overturned off an embankment near Castaic Lake, CA, and blood hounds could only track him to a truck stop nearby. 25 year old Kevin Bacon left his house on Christmas Eve to meet with some one he met on a dating app, only to be found murdered in the home of that person days later. This case touched us not only as parents, but as human beings with compassion who cannot comprehend how one person can do something like this to another.
