Co-Host Sanya Bari (https://mountaintoppodcast.com/sanya) My first time guest Sanya Bari is a relationship therapist and emotional clarity expert...which given she's from New Jersey means she's in high demand. She asked a dangerous question: What keeps men from thriving? To get the show rolling, Sanya riffs away on what her findings were. So what is the difference between merely surviving and thriving? What is the real "drug" that keeps us from being our best selves? (Hint: It's not booze or ganja.) What about being "locked in" to a project or goal? Is that a good or a bad thing? If you "survive" effectively enough, others may actually give you accolades for it. But what's the danger behind that mindset? Why does Sanya believe that most guys really don't even realize when they're slipping into "survival mode"? And how to we recover from that and get ourselves back? How do we handle seeing everyone else's "highlight reels" on Facebook knowing that we're NOT okay? How do the mixed messages we as men get about emotions and logic affect us...especially in our relationships with women? What is the habit nearly everyone in Western culture has gotten into nowadays that represents the exact opposite of thriving...yet people seem to like it that way? Next, the surprising truth about how failure to thrive may indeed be passed on generationally. How do you break that cycle? When it comes to relationships with women, how do we keep entering into relationships with women that exhaust us and hold us back rather than helping us thrive? Be a "Big Four" man who gets women: https://mountaintoppodcast.com === HELP US SEND THE MESSAGE TO GREAT MEN EVERYWHERE === This show is built on the "Big Four": Confidence, Masculinity, Liking Women, and Good Character. What keeps a CISO up at night? Hint: It's probably not what you think. While the headlines scream about "genius hackers", the real battle in 2026 is being fought over resilience, identity, and the psychological warfare of AI-driven scams. In this episode of InfosecTrain Tech Talk: Real World Decoded, we sit down with seasoned risk professional Nizamuddin Khaja to peel back the curtain on the modern security leadership mindset. We move past the technical jargon to explore why cybersecurity is a "decision-making problem" rather than a "technology problem".Key Discussion Points:The Resilience Shift: Why the question is no longer "Will we be hacked?" but "How fast can we recover?"The Invisible Boundary: Managing the nightmare of vendor and supply chain risks in a borderless digital world.Human Psychology vs. Intelligence: Why even the smartest employees fall for phishing and how hackers exploit "urgency".The 24-Hour War Room: A CISO's step-by-step checklist for the first 24 hours of a major airline or bank breach. The Rise of the "Deepfake" Scam: How voice cloning and $25M impersonation frauds are changing the threat landscape.A Passwordless Future: Is the era of the "Secret Question" finally over?.

Have you ever wondered what actually goes on behind the velvet ropes of Hollywood and the massive arenas of the sports world? In this episode, Frank sits down with Maddy Myer, a seasoned publicist and the host of the brand new podcast, Maddy Mania. Maddy pulls back the curtain on the high-stakes world of public relations, revealing that it takes far more than just walking red carpets to manage a celebrity's image. From navigating sudden PR crises to adapting to the influencer era, Maddy shares her insider knowledge and career journey. Plus, we dive into her new podcasting venture, which perfectly blends deep fan "spirals" with expert industry analysis, covering everything from K-Pop and wrestling to classic TV shows. Timestamps & Topics 00:00:00 – Introduction: Welcoming Maddy Myer and the launch of Maddy Mania. 00:00:28 – What does a Hollywood publicist actually do? (Hint: It's not just red carpets). 00:01:35 – Career Pivot: How Maddy transitioned from nursing to Public Relations. 00:02:57 – Behind the Scenes: Handling crises, time management, and staying adaptable. 00:03:50 – The PR Shift: How social media and influencer collabs are taking over traditional press. 00:04:55 – Sports vs. Entertainment: Exploring the massive overlap in fandom culture. 00:07:18 – Industry Advice: How to land a job in PR (internships and writing are key!). 00:08:40 – Hollywood's take on PR: Why Maddy loves Apple TV's The Studio. 00:10:41 – The birth of Maddy Mania: Balancing professional goals with pure fan obsession. 00:14:52 – The power of Comic-Con and the importance of exclusivity in modern press runs. 00:20:47 – Dream Guests: Why Ariana Grande and CM Punk are at the top of Maddy's list. 00:21:54 – Rapid Fire Questions: Blackpink dominance, Gossip Girl comfort watches, and viral wrestling theme songs. Key Takeaways PR is Crisis Management: A publicist's true value lies in their adaptability. What seems like a minor hiccup can easily turn into a major crisis, requiring constant schedule juggling and rapid problem-solving. Social Media is the New Press: Traditional media (like radio and print) is taking a backseat to content creation, influencer collaborations, and digital brand building. Fandoms are Universal: Whether you are pitching a sports client or an entertainment star, the passion of the fanbase is the driving force behind a successful campaign. Start Early and Write Often: For those aspiring to enter the PR field, getting diverse internship experience and heavily refining your writing skills are the most critical steps to success. Embrace Your Inner Fan: Maddy Mania proves that you can be a respected industry professional while still unabashedly "spiraling" over your favorite childhood shows, K-pop groups, or wrestlers. Memorable Quotes "You are basically their image makers. You are who's in charge of making sure they look good on camera and off camera... and making sure that their brand and their image stays in a positive light." > "I feel like something that you think could be small could become like a major crisis... being a publicist, you have to be adaptable and flexible, for sure." "Exclusivity is everything in the modern publicist realm. And so Comic-Con is a really good, high-profile event to kind of announce those kinds of things." From the wheel to the iPhone, every generation has declared "we live in amazing times." And they were right. But here's what most sellers miss: the advantage was never the technology itself. It was recognizing when the game changed. In this Coaches Corner, Brian introduces a concept that reframes everything: constraint migration. The bottleneck that defined your business last year? It's already been solved. The grind that made you successful? It's now holding you back. Brian and Robin Joy unpack why "sourcing is solved," what the new constraint actually is, and a quote from futurist Alvin Toffler that explains why some sellers will thrive while others get left behind. Hint: it has nothing to do with reading and writing. If you're working harder but not getting further, this episode tells you exactly why. And what to do instead. Have you ever gone out to eat and tried your best to order something lighter or presumably healthier, only to find out it was a caloric nightmare? Or maybe you've just never noticed. In this episode, I've given some examples of restaurant menu items that might appear to be a great option but are a lot higher in calories than expected. This isn't meant to be demoralizing or depressing, but a good awareness if you eat at restaurants often.I've also looked at the calories and macros of quite possibly the most destructive menu item to ever hit a U.S. based chain restaurant. This weekly show is now part of the "Happy Hour with John Gaskins" daily podcast, which you can find at SiouxFallsLive.com, MidwestSportsPlus.com, and most podcast platforms like the one you find here! So, if you enjoy the topics Matt & John cover, you'll get those topics, plus relevant local guests, every Monday through Thursday on Happy Hour... so we highly recommend you check that out! What is the silver bullet? This is a question outside observers may ask when teams like the Jackrabbits and the Coyotes produce a late-season turnaround. Both have gone from funks — the Jacks' four-game slide after a 7-0 start and more the Yotes' haven't-figured-it-out-yet malaise at 5-4 — to heaters that make them look like dangerous playoff teams. In South Dakota State's case, the return of quarterback Chase Mason is an easy answer, given how flawless, electric, and inspired the Jacks looked in their 41-3 first round playoff win over New Hampshire. But SDSU had already turned the corner the week before in the dramatic win at North Dakota. So, what is the other silver bullet at SDSU? Hint: It lies in both the head coach and offensive coordinator. In Wednesday's "John-o-logue," Happy Hour John Gaskins plucked insight from Dan Jackson and others (like John Stiegelmeier) to pinpoint the turning points. At USD, there isn't one player or aspect that sticks out as a cure-all in their four-game win streak, which included three consecutive wins over Top 25 teams just to reach the playoffs. But there was a broad, overarching concept employed by head coach Travis Johansen that yielded powerful results. It wasn't an obvious or dramatic silver bullet, but Johansen reveals it in his weekly one-on-one 30 minute chat with Gaskins. After a close first half against Drake, the Yotes pulled away 38-17 in the first round of the playoffs as quarterback Aidan Bouman had his best game of the season. Was there a big turnaround moment for Bouman? How has Larenzo Fenner broken out into an at-times impossible-to-cover receiver? How did Mikey Munn become an All-MVFC first teammer? Johansen answers these questions and gives a glimpse into why Mercer has the nation's second-best passing yardage attack, and what kind of challenges the Bears defense will present to USD's now-humming offense.Meanwhile, Wednesday marked (Early) National Letter of Intent Signing Day for high school athletes all across the country. It is always a day for college football teams to pump up their incoming recruiting class.Gaskins chatted with two Sioux Falls standouts about their paths to CFB — Sioux Falls Washington receiver Jhace Woods (South Dakota State) and Sioux Falls Jefferson tight end Eddie Whiting (Michigan State). How did the schools they signed with first start a relationship? What led them to choosing their school, and which other schools tried to pluck them away?In both players' cases, the schools they chose went through coaching changes — Woods earlier in his process when Jacks coach Jimmy Rogers left for Washington State, and Whiting just days before signing day when MSU fired Jonathan Smith and within 24 hours hired Pat Fitzgerald. So, what kept the Sioux Falls ballers loyal to their original choice?

Josh Hammer explains again why Secretary of War Pete Hegseth is not a "war criminal," as the Left has ludicrously been suggesting. Why are leftists pushing this lie so hard? Hint: It has nothing to do with Hegseth himself or his actions, and everything to do with undermining President Trump's agenda every which way they possibly can. Josh also tackles the latest silly controversy over President Trump's harsh words on Somali immigrants, unpacks yesterday's Tennessee special election and crucial First Amendment case argued at the Supreme Court, and discusses last night's inspiring PragerU gala at Mar-a-Lago. If America seeks to turn around its various social maladies, there is perhaps nothing more important than inspiring young men and women and filling them with hope and gratitude.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Episode SummaryForget the old ways of game development. The Roblox platform isn't a sandbox—it's a brutal, high-frequency, algorithmic battleground. In this deep dive, we break down why traditional "AAA" development strategies are being crushed by low-fidelity, quick-to-market viral hits. We analyze the metrics that Roblox's discovery algorithm actually cares about (it's not just downloads), the new pressure on developers, and the commercial gold rush driving this new age of digital product. If you're building software, an app, or a game, this is a masterclass in platform leverage and virality.Key Takeaways for the Tech Professional The Algorithm as a Gatekeeper: Understand the core metrics that determine success on Roblox (Retention, Monetization, and Engagement) and how they reflect the priorities of any major platform (Apple App Store, Google Play, YouTube). The Two-Tiered Development Strategy: Contrasting the high-budget, polished approach with the fast, data-driven methodology of viral developers—and why the latter often wins. Minimal Viable Fun (MVF) > Minimum Viable Product (MVP): How the "low-poly, high-concept" trend proves that speed and novelty often beat engineering polish when facing a discovery-focused algorithm. Monetization as a Discovery Signal: Why high-ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) games are disproportionately rewarded by the algorithm and what that means for your product's design.Chapter Markers (Jump to the insights you need) 01:30 The 'Gold Rush' Archetype: Why Roblox is the Wild West of modern game dev. 05:45 The Core Algorithm: What Roblox's discovery engine actually measures. (Hint: It's all about the money flow). 12:10 Case Study: Viral Low-Fi vs. AAA Polish—The data behind the death of the polished demo. 18:05 Designing for the Metrics: The blueprint for building a game that the algorithm will push. 24:45 Takeaways for SaaS/App Developers: Applying the Roblox virality playbook to enterprise and consumer products.

This week we take a step back to the golden age of the slasher movie, 1982, for a look at a movie that misses the mark by a significant margin and yet it still remains strangely compelling. Starring Bill Paxton in one of his earliest roles, Mortuary attempts to cash in on the slasher boom but can't quite figure out what it is about Halloween and Friday the 13th that makes them so successful. Hint: It's their simplicity. Mortuary can't help but complicate matters with numerous inexplicable subplots that remain unresolved all the way to the end of the movie: Why is there a satanic cult? We'll never know. Young Christie is haunted by a memory of her father's murder that she can't quite square with the known facts. Was he murdered or did he drown and why doesn't anyone believe her when she says she witnessed his murder? Meanwhile, a dude in a black cloak is stalking the night, killing randos while trying to get close to Christie. It's plainly obvious from the jump who the killer is since he's only wearing makeup and not a mask. There's a weird, unpleasant tone of necrophilia running throughout the movie and just about everyone sucks but hey! Christopher and Linda Day George are on the set together and that has to count for something. Honestly, Bryan's not sure why he put this one on the list.Join the Bring Me The Axe Discord: https://discord.gg/snkxuxzJSupport Bring Me The Axe! on Patreon:https://patreon.com/bringmetheaxepodBuy Bring Me The Axe merch here:https://www.bonfire.com/store/bring-me-the-axe-podcast/
When America's Catholic bishops do a commercial to promote how unabated global migration is Christlike, run for the hills. The grift that is ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION is one the deep state does not want to give up. Canada's 43% immigrant birth rate sounds alarm bells around the world and puts the USA on notice. This is a free preview of a paid episode. To hear more, visit www.politix.fmDonald Trump's Epstein coverup has faltered. Jeffrey Epstein's estate has produced tens of thousands of emails implicating scads of U.S. elites, Trump foremost among them, but including famed economist Larry Summers and other prominent Democrats. Meanwhile, Congress has now voted overwhelmingly to compel the Justice Department to release its Epstein case files. In this episode, Matt and Brian discuss:* What do the recent disclosures actually reveal?* What the fuck Larry Summers?! And, also, ew!* Should erstwhile Summers allies throw him under the bus, even though he's announced his withdrawal from public life? Then, for paid subscribers, what now? Will Trump sign the Epstein disclosure bill without delay? If so, how will he endeavor to obstruct disclosure once it becomes law? Is the evidence in the case file safe from tampering or destruction? And why has this issue, rather than tariffs or health care or even war in Venezuela, the one that has blown the coalition wide open? (Hint: It has something to do with all the antisemites in MAGA). All that, plus the full Politix archive are available to paid subscribers—just upgrade your subscription and pipe full episodes directly to your favorite podcast app via your own private feed.Further reading:* Brian argues Dems should lean into Epstein politics at least as hard as party strategists want them to lean into “affordability.” * Matt argues moderation shouldn't be synonymous with throwing a winning hand—possibly relevant to forthcoming Epstein politics.* Emily Catalano on Epstein truthers coming full circle.

How Discipline, Speaking Life, and the Rule of 10 Create Explosive Growth in Faith-Based Leadership and Team CultureIf you've ever wondered why your business isn't growing, what if the real issue isn't your systems—it's your people? In this powerful episode, I share a heartfelt conversation I had with my Pops (he's wise, honest—and yes, blunt)—and how he boiled our biggest business meltdown down to one simple truth: “Build the people and then allow the people to build the business.”Drawing on the transformative lessons from Proverbs 13, we dive into:Why discipline over convenience is a non-negotiable. How speaking life early and often changes a culture (private > public). The power of the “Rule of 10” — serve one person incredibly well, then leverage the ripple. Why overcomplicating leadership is the growth killer; simplicity and clarity are the rocket fuel.Applying biblical wisdom to your team, your mission, and your leadership identity.
