So we did a part 1 + 2, so stay tuned for next week!)And while some things we discuss are funny, small + even, shall we say, a bit ridiculous just so we can entertain you…many of them are no joke, y'all.Serious stuff like:✅ Affordable (sometimes even FREE) healthcare, especially as we get older (ahem)✅ Personal safety - how do you go from the 7th safest country in the world to 132nd?✅ Flying to the UK to visit family in 2.5 hours and less than 100 euros round trip✅ 99% calm nervous system on most daysAnd some fun ones like:

It doesn't matter how good your food is if your restaurant is in the wrong place. That was the primary takeaway from a recent episode of The Restaurant Operator podcast, where I interviewed Ebere Anokute, head of retail research for CBRE, during the ICSC real estate conference in Las Vegas. We dove into the shifting dynamics of restaurant real estate, modern data trends, and the intangible elements that make a brick-and-mortar location successful. Here is a sneak peek at what you're missing if you haven't tuned in yet:The 20-year crunch: Retail availability has hit historic lows, creating the tightest market seen in two decades. Anokute explains how this supply constraint hands significant leverage to landlords — and what it means for your next lease negotiation. The power of 'co-tenancy': While data analytics drive modern site selection, human behavior and retail synergy remain the biggest indicators of long-term success. Discover why being close to your direct competitors might actually be the best thing for your brand.Debunking the hybrid office myth: Despite early fears that remote work would kill urban restaurant traffic, CBRE data tells a completely different story about where consumers are spending their dining dollars.AI vs. reality: Artificial intelligence is top of mind for everyone, but how is it actually being used in site selection and restaurant operations today? Hint: It's not what you think. To get the full breakdown on navigating today's hyper-competitive real estate market, tune in to the complete conversation on The Restaurant Operator podcast.

Are you growing spiritually, or just showing up on Sundays? In this powerful message, "Maturing in the Kingdom: The Power of Delighting in God's Word," we dive deep into what it actually takes to achieve true spiritual maturity. Hint: It doesn't happen by osmosis or just sitting in a church pew! Real growth happens when we intentionally delight in and honor Scripture. If you are ready to move past "Sunday excitement" and become a mature Christian who impacts every single room you enter, this sermon is for you. ✨ In this video, you'll discover: Why God is moved by His Word spoken in faith—not by our complaints or circumstances. How true prosperity and wholeness start from the inside out by renewing your mind. How to train yourself to respond to life's chaotic moments with a powerful "The Scriptures say..." instead of being ruled by your feelings or cultural opinions. It's time to move from spiritual milk to solid food. Let's stop letting our emotions run the show and start letting the Word of God transform our thinking patterns!

Three coaching calls in one week. Three different sellers. Same problem - they were all passing on ASINs because of what Keepa wasn't showing them. In this episode, Brian and Robin Joy unpack the blind spots hiding in plain sight on every Keepa chart: the "dead" listing that's actually just chronically out of stock, the buy box price that changes depending on which region you're standing in, and the sales that happen at prices Keepa never even logs. The old signals, rank drops, offer counts, the national buy box, trained an entire generation of resellers to read the chart one way. Amazon changed the building. Keepa is still one window. This episode is about learning to walk around to the other side. Ten years ago, Iroro Tanshi found something incredible in a cave in Nigeria: a colony of short-tailed roundleaf bats, a species that hadn't been seen there in almost 50 years. We learn how her discovery helped kickstart a conservation movement in West Africa to protect rare species of bats from threats like poaching and wildfires. Then, North America has lost billions of birds since 1970, but some species are actually bucking this concerning trend and returning to places where humans hadn't seen them in decades. Ornithologist Scott Weidensaul shares some global success stories of bird recovery. And, Mark Kurlansky has been fishing for as long as he can remember, and writing about it almost as long. He tells us about his essay collection on why people fish. Let's be honest — Most of us aren't actually moving forward. We're just running away from things that happened years ago, hoping that if we go fast enough, the past won't catch up. We've all heard the advice to "just let it go" or "give it to God," but if it were that easy, why are we still so exhausted? Why does that one mistake from a decade ago still have the power to ruin your Tuesday morning? In this episode of The Leader's Cut, Preston Morrison and Tim Ross are getting back into the gritty reality of what it actually takes to find your "Missing Peace." This isn't a conversation about surface-level "happiness"—it's a deep dive into the parts of your soul you've been trying to ignore. If you feel like you're just surviving your life instead of living it, it's time for a reality check. The Holy Spirit wants to do more than just comfort you; He wants to cut away the trauma that has been making your decisions for you. We're talking about the stuff nobody wants to talk about, including: * The Inner Critic's Real Identity: Who is that voice in your head that's constantly bothered by your mistakes? (Hint: It's not God, and it's not just "you.") * Emotional Indigestion: Why the things you refuse to process are currently defining your future. * The Biology of Peace: How to move the peace of Jesus from a "concept" in your head to a "regulation" in your actual nervous system. * Why You're Not "Here": The real reason you find it impossible to be present with the people you love. * The Trap of Self-Awareness: Why knowing you have a problem isn't the same thing as letting Him cut it out. You can keep running, or you can stop and finally metabolize what's been chasing you. It's time to stop letting start walking in the peace you were actually designed for. This is where true healing begins.

Ever wondered why some businesses seem to pull in the perfect clients with almost no effort, while others stay stuck, spinning their wheels? In today's episode, I'm sharing the three must-know insights about your ideal client that could be the missing ingredient in your business. If you've ever felt like your message isn't quite landing, or you're attracting clients that drain your energy instead of lighting you up, stay with me—this chat could be a game-changer. I've been where you are—juggling work, motherhood, and the dream of growing a business that allows you time and freedom. Over the years, I've seen a pattern: the most successful female entrepreneurs aren't just experts in what they do—they're utterly clear on exactly who they're here to help. In this episode, I'm unpacking the three powerful questions most people overlook, but which make all the difference when you want to really connect with your audience. Here's a taste of what I'll be asking—and why you'll want to tune in: Why is it so important to know what your dream clients themselves think their real problem is? (Hint: It's usually not what you think.) What do your clients truly want—beyond vague goals like “more clients” or “success”? I'll show you how to get specific and why that matters. How can you spot the difference between what your clients know they need help with, and the things they don't even realise yet? This is where your messaging really starts to connect. What simple tool have I used, and how can you quickly build a human, relatable client profile that makes writing content a breeze? If you're tired of guessing what to say, or you've tried all the posting and still feel invisible, this episode is for you. Let's make marketing feel simple (and effective) again. There is a question I'm asked often: How do you actually build a strong family? It sounds simple, but when you're living it day to day, it can feel anything but. In my conversation with Sally Clarkson, we step back and talk about what really shapes a family over time. Hint: It's not the quick fixes, the pressure from culture, but the decisions we made, long before we knew how they would turn out. We talk about: Why keeping God at the center changes everything How to resist cultural expectations that pull your family off course The importance of defining who you are as a family And why small, consistent choices matter more than big moments One of the things Sally said that you need to remember: every family has its own puzzle. That means you don't have to copy someone else's model, but you do need to be intentional about building your own. If you've been feeling pulled in too many directions or wondering if what you're doing is really making a difference, this conversation will help you step back, refocus, and remember what matters most. Because a strong family isn't built all at once. It's shaped over time, by the decisions you keep making. You don't want to miss this episode. If you've ever run out of your best-selling products faster than you can restock them, wondered what ROI you should actually be targeting, or watched your buy box disappear and immediately reached for the repricer - this episode is for you. Brian and Robin unpack one of the most misunderstood realities in Amazon selling: three questions that look completely different on the surface are actually the same question wearing different masks. And the answer to all three is almost always the same word. Price. In this episode you'll learn: Why running out of stock is a pricing problem, not a sourcing problem What ROI floor you should be targeting, and why it connects directly to your velocity What actually causes a buy box to disappear (hint: it's not your price) Why panic pricing hands your profit directly to the seller who held their number How to read a suppressed buy box for what it actually is - a delivery signal, not a pricing signal Brian drops the line that ties it all together: "Price is the lever. It controls your velocity, your ROI, your exposure to panic, and whether you hold or fold when the buy box disappears." And they close with a Warren Buffett quote that hits differently when you're watching your repricer make decisions it doesn't have the information to make. This one is worth a second listen. Today on the podcast, I am chatting about such an important topic: inclusivity and accessibility within branding. I'm joined by my friend and fellow designer Melin Edomwonyi to dig into what this actually looks like in practice which is a lot deeper than I realised. We cover so many different aspects of inclusivity and accessibility, from the colours we choose to how we format our emails. I feel like some of these topics could be a whole episode by themselves! The biggest reminder from this conversation is that we are never going to get this stuff perfect 100% of the time. It'a about curiosity and a willingness to learn and make improvements bit by bit and Melin shares some SUPER practical tips you can implement straight away to make your brand more accessible. This episode is sponsored by SilverStag Type Foundry. If you're a designer looking for a typeface that really elevates your brand, SilverStag is a brilliant place to start. It's a one-person type studio creating carefully crafted fonts with multiple weights, alternates, and ligatures; all designed to help brands stand out. Head to lizmosley.net/SLTF and use the code LIZxSLTF for 20% off. Key Takeaways: Inclusivity is more than just imagery: While showing a diverse range of people in your photography is important, inclusive branding also covers typography, colour contrast, accessibility, and your tone of voice. The problem with the "Beige Aesthetic": We discuss the trend of "aesthetic" design (often beige, low contrast, tiny text) and how, while it might look "luxury", it often excludes people with visual impairments and makes your content hard to consume. Don't make your audience work for it: If your text is hard to read (e.g. centre-aligned body copy), people will simply switch off. Accessibility isn't just a legal or moral requirement; it's smart business. If people can't read your offer, they can't buy it. Context matters for content: We chat about the accessibility of long-form captions on platforms like Instagram versus platforms designed for reading like Substack or LinkedIn. Providing a summary (TL;DR) is a great way to be inclusive of different neurotypes and time constraints. Designing for the "drunk user": Melin shares a fascinating UX perspective—if your website is usable by someone who is distracted, tired, or even "under the influence", it is likely accessible to everyone. Episode Highlights: 03:30 – What does inclusive branding actually mean? (Hint: It's not just about photos). 10:00 – The frustration with the "Instagram Aesthetic" and why form should not win over function. 14:00 – A plea to stop centre-aligning your newsletter body copy! 17:00 – Accessibility in copywriting: Why wall-of-text captions can be a barrier for neurodivergent audiences. 25:00 – Testing your website for different scenarios (including the "drunk test"). 27:00 – Tools and resources to help you check your colour contrast. About The Guest: Melin Edomwonyi is a designer and the Co-founder and UX Director of Seedable Studio, a digital agency that validates, designs, and builds digital products. With over 20 years of experience, she is passionate about building inclusive and sustainable products and helping founders bring brilliant ideas to life. Co-Host Sanya Bari (https://mountaintoppodcast.com/sanya) My first time guest Sanya Bari is a relationship therapist and emotional clarity expert...which given she's from New Jersey means she's in high demand. She asked a dangerous question: What keeps men from thriving? To get the show rolling, Sanya riffs away on what her findings were. So what is the difference between merely surviving and thriving? What is the real "drug" that keeps us from being our best selves? (Hint: It's not booze or ganja.) What about being "locked in" to a project or goal? Is that a good or a bad thing? If you "survive" effectively enough, others may actually give you accolades for it. But what's the danger behind that mindset? Why does Sanya believe that most guys really don't even realize when they're slipping into "survival mode"? And how to we recover from that and get ourselves back? How do we handle seeing everyone else's "highlight reels" on Facebook knowing that we're NOT okay? How do the mixed messages we as men get about emotions and logic affect us...especially in our relationships with women? What is the habit nearly everyone in Western culture has gotten into nowadays that represents the exact opposite of thriving...yet people seem to like it that way? Next, the surprising truth about how failure to thrive may indeed be passed on generationally. How do you break that cycle? When it comes to relationships with women, how do we keep entering into relationships with women that exhaust us and hold us back rather than helping us thrive? Be a "Big Four" man who gets women: https://mountaintoppodcast.com === HELP US SEND THE MESSAGE TO GREAT MEN EVERYWHERE === This show is built on the "Big Four": Confidence, Masculinity, Liking Women, and Good Character. It's that time of year again … Time for the Academy Awards… So let's hear from … President Trump "The Kennedy Center has everything. Look at the Academy Awards, it gets lousy ratings now, it's all woke. All they do is talk about how much they hate Trump. But nobody likes that. They don't watch anymore. That used to have 45 million people watching. Remember The Apprentice first season. The Apprentice had 42 million people, the Academy Awards had 41 million people. We were the second show to the Super Bowl. But since then, the Academy Awards have gone down to -- I think they've gone down to numbers that are like a regular show." That was President Trump last August. The Academy Awards may be like a regular show – but the latest episode of C-SPAN's "Extreme Mortman" is no regular podcast. Because we award the first ever ExMo! Maddy pulls back the curtain on the high-stakes world of public relations, revealing that it takes far more than just walking red carpets to manage a celebrity's image. From navigating sudden PR crises to adapting to the influencer era, Maddy shares her insider knowledge and career journey. Plus, we dive into her new podcasting venture, which perfectly blends deep fan "spirals" with expert industry analysis, covering everything from K-Pop and wrestling to classic TV shows. Timestamps & Topics 00:00:00 – Introduction: Welcoming Maddy Myer and the launch of Maddy Mania. 00:00:28 – What does a Hollywood publicist actually do? (Hint: It's not just red carpets). 00:01:35 – Career Pivot: How Maddy transitioned from nursing to Public Relations. 00:02:57 – Behind the Scenes: Handling crises, time management, and staying adaptable. 00:03:50 – The PR Shift: How social media and influencer collabs are taking over traditional press. 00:04:55 – Sports vs. Entertainment: Exploring the massive overlap in fandom culture. 00:07:18 – Industry Advice: How to land a job in PR (internships and writing are key!). 00:08:40 – Hollywood's take on PR: Why Maddy loves Apple TV's The Studio. 00:10:41 – The birth of Maddy Mania: Balancing professional goals with pure fan obsession. 00:14:52 – The power of Comic-Con and the importance of exclusivity in modern press runs. 00:20:47 – Dream Guests: Why Ariana Grande and CM Punk are at the top of Maddy's list. 00:21:54 – Rapid Fire Questions: Blackpink dominance, Gossip Girl comfort watches, and viral wrestling theme songs. Key Takeaways PR is Crisis Management: A publicist's true value lies in their adaptability. What seems like a minor hiccup can easily turn into a major crisis, requiring constant schedule juggling and rapid problem-solving. Social Media is the New Press: Traditional media (like radio and print) is taking a backseat to content creation, influencer collaborations, and digital brand building. Fandoms are Universal: Whether you are pitching a sports client or an entertainment star, the passion of the fanbase is the driving force behind a successful campaign. Start Early and Write Often: For those aspiring to enter the PR field, getting diverse internship experience and heavily refining your writing skills are the most critical steps to success. Embrace Your Inner Fan: Maddy Mania proves that you can be a respected industry professional while still unabashedly "spiraling" over your favorite childhood shows, K-pop groups, or wrestlers. Memorable Quotes "You are basically their image makers. You are who's in charge of making sure they look good on camera and off camera... and making sure that their brand and their image stays in a positive light." > "I feel like something that you think could be small could become like a major crisis... being a publicist, you have to be adaptable and flexible, for sure." "Exclusivity is everything in the modern publicist realm. And so Comic-Con is a really good, high-profile event to kind of announce those kinds of things." From the wheel to the iPhone, every generation has declared "we live in amazing times." And they were right. But here's what most sellers miss: the advantage was never the technology itself. It was recognizing when the game changed. In this Coaches Corner, Brian introduces a concept that reframes everything: constraint migration. The bottleneck that defined your business last year? It's already been solved. The grind that made you successful? It's now holding you back. Brian and Robin Joy unpack why "sourcing is solved," what the new constraint actually is, and a quote from futurist Alvin Toffler that explains why some sellers will thrive while others get left behind. Hint: it has nothing to do with reading and writing. If you're working harder but not getting further, this episode tells you exactly why. And what to do instead. But Maria has finally said buh-bye to that and shares what's helping the pendulum finally swing the other way. Hint, Hint: It didn't come from just one thing, rather six!
