Click to Subscribe: https://bit.ly/Youtube-Subscribe-SoapDirt General Hospital spoilers bring a stunning turn of events as actress Kate Mansi has announced her departure from the role of Kristina Corinthos-Davis, a development that may pave the way for Lexi Ainsworth's return. Mansi's decision to not renew her contract after a three-year run has sparked speculation that Ainsworth, a fan favorite, may reprise her role. Mansi revealed her decision was influenced by the desire to focus on new projects, including a series she's producing with her husband Matt McInnis. General Hospital spoilers reveal Mansi expressed gratitude towards the show's team, including showrunner Frank Valentini, and described her time on GH as "meaningful and unforgettable". She also hinted at new adventures for her character, Kristina, which could imply a romantic twist with her ex-girlfriend Blaze. Current GH spoilers suggest that Kristina may receive big news this week, possibly tied to Blaze's return. GH spoilers indicate that with Mansi's departure, fans are curious about the future of Kristina. Showrunner Valentini has left the door open for Mansi's return, but it seems that for now, Kristina may be written out of the show. A potential storyline could see Kristina leaving Port Charles to join Blaze on tour or getting caught in the crossfire of Sonny and Sidwell's feud. Spoilers for General Hospital in the coming weeks will reveal how Kristina's storyline will be wrapped up, but fans are holding out hope for a potential recast and the return of Lexi Ainsworth. Ainsworth, who was widely popular in her portrayal of Kristina, could be a welcome sight for fans who were disappointed with her abrupt exit to make room for Mansi. Mansi Goel and Allison Melody had just met. They were on their way to what they thought was a beagle rescue training session when the call came in: “It's happening now.” In a shocking turn, they were suddenly headed straight into the historic Ridglan Farms rescue, where more than a thousand people showed up to stand for beagles who had spent their lives inside a breeding facility. In this episode of Food Heals, Allison Melody sits down with animal rescuer, executive coach, and fellow Ridglan Farms rescuer Mansi Goel to talk about what really happened that day, how quickly everything changed, and why neither of them will ever forget it. What started as a trip to Wisconsin to help rescue beagles turned into hours of fear, heartbreak, courage, pepper spray, rubber bullets, and the kind of devotion that only comes from people who refuse to look away. Mansi shares what it felt like to arrive at Ridglan Farms, see the first hay bale rolled into the trench, make the choice to stay, and realize she was capable of more than she ever imagined. She also opens up about why she did not walk away feeling traumatized, but empowered. For Mansi, this was the moment she discovered what it meant to put her whole being on the line for animals. This conversation goes beyond one rescue. It's about the moment ordinary people become rescuers. The moment outrage becomes action. The moment fear gives way to purpose. And the question so many of us are asking now: If we would never allow this to happen to beagles, why do we allow it to happen to any animal? Allison and Mansi also talk about the emotional days after the rescue, when they learned the beagles were finally coming out, and the videos began showing them touching grass, receiving care, and being given names for the first time. For Mansi, that moment was sacred. These beagles had been treated like products. Naming them was not just a formality. It was a recognition of who they had always been: living beings, individuals, fellow earthlings. They also explore the connection between animal rescue, healing, compassion, and the systems that keep suffering hidden from public view. This is an episode about rescue, resilience, and the day thousands of people refused to walk away. In a remote Egyptian village, a young doctor arrives to open a long-abandoned clinic. Recently released from prison for political dissent, he's been exiled from Cairo to this dusty outpost. As he immerses himself among the myriad ailments of the impoverished villagers, from scorpion stings and boils to the debilitating effects of bilharzia, he is drawn to a young nurse who becomes a trusted companion and provides an emotional refuge from his traumatic past. Farah represents everything the city doctor thinks he wants and offers a chance to rebuild his life. But are her ambitions really in line with his? And if this is love, is redemption certain to follow? In this absorbing novel The Country Doctor's Tale (Syracuse UP, 2026), Qandil weaves together forbidden love, political corruption, and the clash between tradition and desire. The doctor's world expands to include al-Jazya, the queen of a marginalized tribe who sees through his pretensions, and a menacing district chief of police reminding him that no one escapes the reach of authority. Qandil's novel evokes the beauties and cruelties of life in a small community on the edge of the Nile as our doctor's journey takes him through the muddy lanes of the village, the verdant fields of maize, and finally a grim quest in the haunting landscape of the White Desert—all the while struggling with an imperfect moral compass. A conversation with the translator R. Neil Hewison Award-winning Egyptian novelist Mohamed Mansi Qandil worked as a physician before becoming an author and literary critic. He is the author of several short-story collections and novels, including A Cloudy Day on the Western Shore. R. In this week's episode, we'll be talking about the nine hikers that died during a hiking/ski expedition in the Ural Mountains of Russia, the area now known as Dyatlov Pass. The hikers set up camp on the slopes of Kholat Syakhi, which is a Mansi name translating to "Dead Mountain." Something caused them to leave their tent in a panic and scatter about in subzero temperatures. They left most of their supplies in the tent and were not dressed properly to survive the bitter cold.Six died from what was determined to be hypothermia, while the other three died from violent injuries. The Russian officials claimed it was weather related, while others believed it was a military cover up or a Menk (Yeti) that attacked and killed them. Listen to the official autopsy reports and come to your own conclusion. From the fast pace of Silicon Valley to the gentle rhythm of creative living, Mansi Bhatia's journey is one of choosing presence over productivity. She calls herself The Ripple Maker—and for good reason.A writer, artist, and teacher, Mansi spent two decades in journalism, nonprofits, and education before finding her way to a slower, more intentional life. What began as a creative outlet during the isolating days of motherhood—when she was caring for a child with life-threatening allergies—slowly grew into The RIPPLE Practice™, a six-step approach to creating authentic connection through small, imperfect acts of generosity. Her upcoming book, Little Tokens, Big Ripples (Schiffer Craft, Fall 2026), is a reminder that creativity isn't about talent—it's about listening to the quiet whispers of the heart and having the courage to follow them.Mansi now lives in California with her family, practicing what she teaches: presence first, everything else second. She's building a global community around the simple but powerful idea that small acts of kindness can create ripples far beyond what we can see.Learn more or connect with Mansi:Website: http://littletokensbigripples.com/Gatherings: littletokensbigripples.com/rsvpCommunity: circle.littletokensbigripples.comDownload the Free Ripple Practice™ Workbook: https://littletokensbigripples.com/the-ripple-practiceBig thank you to our sponsor: Jet Creative: A women-owned marketing firm committed to community and empowerment.
