Bluffing the Monster - Dogman Wrecks Summer CampIn the summer of 1987, during a Catholic Youth Organization retreat in the mountains, Youth Ministers along with a group of youths and adults, experienced an unsettling incident. While walking across a large field at night after preparing breakfast, they encountered what they initially thought was a dog. However, the creature stood on two legs, revealing itself as a large, off-white, humanoid figure that silenced the surroundings. Terrified, the Minister brandished a pocket knife, and when he approached, the creature retreated into the woods and vanished. Cajuns Hunting BigfootAs a kid infatuated with Bigfoot, I worked summers for my dad's painting business, where I met a crew member from Louisiana who shared a chilling tale. His uncle, a seasoned big game hunter, ventured into a notorious Louisiana swamp to hunt a Sasquatch, only to be found days later, nearly dead, aged, and paralyzed, claiming he'd become the hunted. Undeterred, the nephew and his friends entered the same swamp for revenge and deer hunting, but their first night turned chaotic when an eerie silence, a foul odor, and a towering creature with glowing eyes invaded their camp, sparking panic, gunfire, and a frantic escape. His great-grandmother passed away and her spirit visited him one night, sitting on the foot of his bed. She looked at him and said I love you, said goodbye and disappeared. He wanted to believe it was just a dream but could smell her scent in his room. George attended a haunted high School. In his early twenties he had a near death experience from pneumonia. He saw his own body in the bed and a lady that had died in that hospital room stood there talking to him. He saw the Angel of death as he opened a portal of bright light. The spirit that was talking to him, told him "it's not your time". He laid back down and woke up to alarms going off and nurses busting into hospital room.George also had encounters in the Bermuda Triangle, a UFO in the middle of the ocean, and many other events. George has always been interested in paranormal, cryptid creatures and Bigfoot and has done a lot of research thought his lifetime.George wrote "Legends, Myth, Monsters, and Ghost" because he wanted to share the stories he's heard and researched from all over the US with the world. He wants people to know that there is so much out in the world, then in that little bubble we all live in. When we were young, the older people would pass these stories down and we would go out and try to see if they where real. He hopes that sharing these stories, will give everyone an adventure to go on. The pathway we were on was only short, no more than 100m and it led out into the open onto football pitches and playing fields. As we were coming down the path towards the open grassland and rounded the slight bend we saw there was a large dark creature which was standing facing us, with its back to the football pitches. It was standing up on two legs and I can't honestly remember many of its features, but I remember thinking it looked like it was a dog that was standing up on its hind legs. In episode 745: Dogman, Crawlers, and the Not-Deer; Chris from West Virginia shares a series of chilling encounters that began with a timber-colored creature walking on two legs outside his home—and escalated into a five-hour standoff of growls, scraping claws, and paralyzing fear. After that night, the activity didn't stop. While camping in the woods, Chris witnessed a massive, shadowy figure crawling like a spider toward his tent and heard unplaceable howls and gunshots echo through the forest. Then came something worse: a deer that wasn't a deer, its gaze too knowing, its movements too wrong—and when it turned to walk away, it simply vanished. A Creature Named Ole RedIn 1997, a ten-year-old spending the summer with their grandmother in Florida had a startling encounter on the way to their grandfather's house in Geneva. While driving, they spotted a seven-foot-tall, bipedal creature with orange-reddish hair resembling an orangutan crossing the road. The creature paused to stare at them before continuing on.
