Ela começou a nadar com apenas dois anos, competiu pela primeira vez aos sete e, ainda adolescente, ingressou no Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, onde se firmou como fundista. Passou depois por alguns outros clubes, destacando-se nas provas de 800m e 1.500m. Em 2005, foi incentivada por seu técnico, que mais tarde se tornaria seu marido, a estrear na Travessia dos Fortes. Venceu não apenas o medo de nadar no mar, mas também a competição, inaugurando o que seria uma nova oportunidade de permanecer na natação e testar seu potencial nas maratonas aquáticas. A partir dali, o potencial se transformou em resultados. Em 2006, conquistou duas pratas no Campeonato Mundial de Águas Abertas. No Pan do Rio de Janeiro, em 2007, levou a prata nos 10 km; em 2008, estreou nos Jogos Olímpicos de Pequim, terminando em sétimo lugar; e, em 2009, viveu uma temporada histórica ao vencer nove das onze etapas do circuito mundial, conquistando a Copa do Mundo de Maratonas Aquáticas. No mesmo ano, garantiu o bronze no Mundial de Esportes Aquáticos, tornando-se a primeira nadadora brasileira a conquistar uma medalha na história da competição. Em 2011, nos Jogos Pan-Americanos, levou a prata e, no Mundial de 2013, alcançou o ápice com ouro nos 10 km, prata nos 5 km e bronze na prova por equipes. Em 2016, nos Jogos do Rio, conquistou o bronze na prova dos 10 km da maratona aquática, tornando-se a primeira brasileira a ganhar uma medalha olímpica na natação. Encerrou a carreira em 2017, ano do lançamento de sua biografia, e logo depois iniciou uma nova fase: junto com o marido, criou uma assessoria de natação em águas abertas e uma travessia que leva seu nome. Em 2021, fundou seu Instituto e, desde 2020, trabalha na agência VEGA Sports. Contudo, sua conquista mais festejada veio em 2021, com o nascimento de Lucca. When tonight's first guest was 8 or 9 years old, a Sasquatch she calls “The Gorilla Man” started paying visits to her family's farm, in Larue County, Kentucky. Their property is in a very remote area that's a solid 20-minute drive from stores or any moderately populated areas. The first time she saw the Gorilla Man, she was in bed one night when all of a sudden, she saw that something was looking in her window at her. What she was looking at seemed to be about 8-feet tall, with a wide head, and very human-looking eyes. After staring, in awe, at the figure for some time, she jumped up and ran to her mother. A couple of years past, after that experience, before she saw the Gorilla Man again but see him again she did. Her encounters with him have continued to happen until present day.Craig Ancell has had 3 Bigfoot sightings and they all happened in Southeast Missouri. His first sighting happened between 1993 and 1995, at a place just outside of Scott City, Missouri, called “The Caves.” He was in high school, at the time, and had gone to The Caves with 3 other friends. He and his buddies were planning to hang out there, drink beer, and have a great time. As fate would have it, not long after they had arrived at the Caves, Craig's friends had left to go get another friend who wanted to join them, when Craig suddenly realized he still wasn't alone. Bigfoot Called Out His NameA newly trained deputy begins his first solo patrol on New Year's Day in 1980. What starts as a quiet shift turns tragic when he responds to a call about two missing children near Morgan Creek. He follows their footprints to a hole in the ice, where a rescue team later recovers their bodies—siblings, ages 11 and 9, who drowned. Twenty years later, on another snowy New Year's night, the now-veteran deputy hears a dispatch report about two wet children walking near the same bridge. Another officer searches but finds no children—only footprints that mysteriously end near an old, abandoned farmhouse that once belonged to the drowned children's family. Believing the sighting to be supernatural, the deputy concludes the caller likely encountered the ghosts of the long-lost siblings. December is here, the sleet is falling, and we're kicking off the final stretch of the year with a whole lot happening behind the scenes.This week, Greg and I dive into Thanksgiving recaps, starting with a massive shout-out to Marty, our UPS driver who surprised the whole crew with the most unbelievable keto barbecue spread. Brisket, ribs, pulled pork — all dialed in, Savage-certified, and absolutely melt-in-your-mouth. Watching Marty dive into keto, lose weight, and get fired up about the lifestyle is exactly the kind of ripple effect I always hoped this business would have.Speaking of meat, I somehow managed to stumble into field-dressing a deer in my running shorts minutes before a business call. Only here, folks. The deer had been hit and was suffering, so Clancy and I stepped in, processed it, and now we've got a freezer full of venison. Not how I planned to spend my Wednesday morning, but sometimes life hands you a responsibility… and 40 pounds of protein.Back at the homestead, Thanksgiving brought deep-fried turkey cooked in grass-finished tallow  - next-level stuff. Total game-changer for the family. But pigs? Different story. We got back from the holiday only to discover our new pigs had intestinal worms, despite being told they were clean. Definitely frustrating when you're doing everything as naturally and intentionally as possible. Luckily, we've got a regenerative protocol lined up — diatomaceous earth, pumpkin seeds, garlic, apple cider vinegar — to get everything back on track without resorting to pharmaceuticals.We also recap our Black Friday/Cyber Monday launch. We didn't discount the bricks — margins don't allow it — but we did hook folks up with a killer value: free high-end cooler bags and access to the Savage System when they stocked up. Don Niesen has lived in Central Wisconsin for about 25 years now. He describes Central Wisconsin as being a totally different world from where he grew up in Racine, Wisconsin. After moving to Central Wisconsin, he's had multiple encounters with various types of wildlife, but none of those encounters moved the needle for Don nearly as much as an encounter he had while he was driving to his parent's house, one evening. As he was driving down a rural section of highway, heading to their house, he was on the lookout for deer. Deer-related car crashes are a big problem in that area. All of a sudden, up ahead, he could see a large, black figure, on the side of the road, pulling at something in the ditch. At first, Don thought it was a bear. Then, it did something no bear could do and at that moment, Don's jaw dropped. Integrou a equipe de ciclismo da universidade, participou de provas de triathlon e de mountain bike XC, até encontrar sua verdadeira paixão: o downhill. Na modalidade, competiu nos EUA, Canadá e Europa. Enquanto levava as trilhas a sério, dava os primeiros passos na sua carreira no marketing esportivo e trabalhou para marcas famosas como Reef e Oakley. De volta ao Brasil, passou pela Pepsico e Billabong antes de ingressar para o time da Red Bull, onde prospectou e gerenciou mais de 50 atletas de elite, como Henrique Avancini, Neymar, Pedro Scooby e Carlos Burle. Após quatro anos, deixou a empresa para se dedicar à distribuição das bicicletas Santa Cruz no Brasil. Fez a transição do downhill para o enduro e passou a competir tanto na América Latina quanto no Enduro World Series. Em 2018, decidiu retornar aos EUA para fazer um mestrado em Ciências Estatísticas, estabelecendo residência na Califórnia. Lecionou marketing na Universidade da Califórnia e atuou no PayPal antes de expandir seu negócio no mercado de ciclismo, acrescentando a importação das bicicletas da Factor e Yeti para o Brasil, inaugurando duas lojas no país e uma em Los Angeles, consolidando assim sua paixão, experiência e know-how.
