First Sasquatch CapturedA veterinarian specializing in large animals graduates from the University of Kentucky and opens a private practice in 1995 before joining Tennessee's Elk Reintroduction Program in 2000. There, he monitors radio-collared elk in the North Cumberland Wildlife Area, aiding in anti-poaching efforts and tracking migrations. On September 19, 2017, an erratic signal from a dominant bull elk's collar leads him, a game warden named Rick, and park ranger Brian into the woods to investigate. Tracking blood trails and fleeting signals, they stumble upon carnage from the elk's leg and pursue what seems like a poacher. Instead, an elderly Native American medicine man, the Ayunini, emerges offering the collar, explaining that the Tsul'Kalu—a reclusive, hairy, ape-like creature allied with his people—took the elk to feed its newborn mate. When Rick arrests the man, a massive, nine-foot-tall beast with black eyes, flattened nose, and muscular build roars from the shadows. The vet fires two tranquilizer darts, allowing them to collect samples before the creature staggers away. The medicine man vanishes, leaving behind only discarded handcuffs and fog. Government agents in black SUVs soon confiscate their phones, packs, and evidence, enforcing a cover story of feral dogs killing the elk and threatening their jobs. Digital backups mysteriously vanish, prompting the vet to resign and reopen his practice. He reflects on the secrecy surrounding two Sasquatch tribes—the peaceful, human-avoiding Tsul'Kalu and the predatory Judaculla—questioning the government's motives while vowing to seek answers independently.Join my Supporters Club for $4.99 per month for exclusive stories:https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/what-if-it-s-true-podcast--5445587/support
Tonight's guest, Beth Duncan, is a Sasquatch eyewitness who became a Sasquatch investigator, due to her interest in learning all that she can about them. One of the many things Beth has going for her, as an investigator, is the fact that a Sasquatch clan lives on and around the 100-acre farm, in Southern West Virginia, where she lives. Her farm is where she had the sighting and not only is she going to share the details of that sighting on tonight's show, she's also going to share several other experiences she's had, over the years, on her property. The first one happened when she was a little girl. Mark Sanchez went from “stabbed in a robbery” to facing felony charges in one of the wildest stories we've seen in years. Meanwhile, Mac Jones had maybe the strangest NFL weekend ever: from allegedly seeing a dead body to eating 11 bananas during the game, and somehow still getting the win.
"Are we living in the junk drawer of time?" Sandy and Tricia kick off this episode with a hilarious and oddly profound question that sets the tone for a morning full of laughs, nostalgia, and unexpected insights. From quirky birthday shoutouts (Chevy Chase is 82!) to a heartfelt tribute to the legendary Dick Van Dyke, who's still dancing at 99, this episode blends humor with admiration. Tricia shares a touching story about Coldplay's tribute to Van Dyke, including a poolside moment with his 74-year-old son that will leave you smiling. The couple dives into a list of things people just don't get the appeal of—like loud bars, celebrity worship, and trendy water bottles—offering their own takes with signature wit. Sandy's confession about his broken finger and Tricia's loyalty to her Yeti tumbler are just a few of the personal gems that make this episode feel like a chat with old friends. You'll also learn:Why the F-22 fighter jet has only three air-to-air kills (and why that's actually a good thing)How Luke Combs just dethroned Garth Brooks as the highest-selling country artist of all timeWhat a “trilemma” and “quadrilemma” are—and why you'll want to use them in your next rant
Eddie Donnellan is a surfer, father, and the founder of the MeWater Foundation, which celebrates its 10-year anniversary this year. Calling in from his home near Ocean Beach in San Francisco, Eddie shares how skating a curb growing up with a stranger led to a single 15-minute conversation that changed the trajectory of his life and led him to a lifelong connection with surfing and the ocean. Eddie reflects on his own upbringing, his mother's resilience as an immigrant and educator, and how those lessons shaped his work in children's mental health and his passion for creating opportunities for underserved youth. He explains how MeWater uses surfing and time in nature as a conduit for healing, confidence, and community, and why sharing a child's very first wave can be the most powerful moment of all. The conversation touches on the challenges and triumphs of running a nonprofit, partnerships with brands like YETI and Patagonia, and why integrity matters when it comes to working with supporters. Eddie also shares what's next for MeWater, from college scholarships to taking kids on tropical trips that expand their world, as well as personal reflections on fatherhood, setting boundaries, and the lessons he's learned from the kids who inspire him. Tonight's guest, Debbie Robinson, had the Sasquatch-related experiences she's going to talk about on tonight's show while she was staying at a remote cabin, in the Hocking Hills, of Ohio. Before she went to the cabin, to celebrate her birthday, her family and friends knew Debbie had always wanted to go to the Hocking Hills and rent a cabin. She had heard so much about the beautiful scenery in the Hocking Hills and all the caves there so, for the longest time, she wanted to go take it all in. To celebrate her birthday in 2020, which was and is on October 31st, her family booked a cabin there that they all could go stay in, Halloween weekend that year, to celebrate Debbie's birthday that year. While it's true that the Hocking Hills are known to have beautiful scenery, caves, and a lot of other great things to offer, they're also known to have a healthy population of Sasquatch living in them. Unfortunately, that's a lesson Debbie, her children, and 6 other people, were about to learn, the hard way.If you've had a Sasquatch sighting and would like to be a guest on the show, please go to BigfootEyewitness.com and let me know. Tonight's guest, Chris, had his first Bigfoot-related experience in 1989. As you'll hear, if you listen to tonight's show, many more were to follow. When Chris had his first experience with a Sasquatch, he was 19 years old, at the time, and had already spent a lot of time in the woods. The night he had his first encounter, he had decided to solo camp on a powerline section, not far from his girlfriend's house. After turning in for the night, he was laying in his tent when he started to hear branches breaking about 100 yards away. As he laid in his tent, listening to the commotion, he could tell that whatever it was, was approaching his camp. Making matters even more intense was the fact Chris could hear that, whatever it was, it was walking bipedally. Things were about to get much more intense! We hope you'll tune into tonight's show, so you can listen to Chris recount the multitude of experiences he's had with Sasquatch over the years. If you do, you'll understand why he suffers from PTSD, due to his experiences with them.If you've had a Bigfoot sighting and would like to be a guest, on the show, please go to https://MyBigfootSighting.com and let us know. This week on Better Buildings for Humans, host Joe Menchefski welcomes architect Toby Witte of Wittehaus—creator of healthy, high-performance luxury homes in the Carolinas. From his roots in Germany to building dream homes in North Carolina, Toby shares how sustainability and soul can go hand-in-hand. They explore why “less is more” isn't just a design mantra, how solar panels are becoming a no-brainer, and why the best homes are built like Yeti coolers. You'll hear how simple choices like south-facing windows and carbon-capture concrete are redefining modern living—and why homes should lift your soul. Plus, discover why Toby believes future buyers won't touch a house that isn't energy efficient. If you've ever dreamed of a net-zero home that feels like a daily vacation, this is your episode.More About Toby WitteToby Witte is an award-winning architect and founder of Wittehaus, known for designing soulful, high-performance homes that blend modern aesthetics with sustainable living.
#WDRadio WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 28, 2025: Giant footprints at 20,000 feet, ancient Tibetan warnings, and mysterious disappearances in the mountains—the Yeti isn't just a legend. There are centuries of encounters from the Himalayas to Siberia, including evidence that made even skeptics into believers, with connections to unexplained phenomena that challenges everything we thought we knew about the Abominable Snowman.==========HOUR ONE: Is it possible that in 1927 we picked up signals from an artificial satellite sent to our planet by an extraterrestrial intelligence? Some believe the evidence is overwhelming. (Mystery of the Alien Satellite) *** When a great famine struck Europe in 1314, mothers abandoned their children and in some cases, even ate them. Could this be the gruesome beginnings of the story we know as Hansel and Gretel? (The Grimm Reality Behind Hansel and Gretel) *** But first… I doubt there's a single person over the age of twelve living in the modernized world that hasn't at least heard of Bigfoot. A large portion of them have probably heard it's other name – Sasquatch – as well. But far fewer are familiar with his even more reclusive Siberian cousin: the Russian Bigfoot that's we've come to know as the Yeti, or more fondly… the Abominable Snowman. We'll begin with that story! (Why They Call This Snowman Abominable)==========HOUR TWO: Ever heard of Shadrack Ireland? No, it's not a place – it's a person, actually. A preacher – and one of the most bizarre religious leaders ever to walk the soil of New England. And as strange as his religious practices and teachings were – his death was just as crazy. (The Perfect Man) *** Lisa woke up to find her boyfriend staring at her. When she asked him what was wrong, he replied, “I'm going to kill you and drink your blood.” Is it possible that the film, “Interview With The Vampire” made Daniel Sterlin turn into a real-life bloodthirsty monster? (Interview With The Wannabee Vampire) *** Gerald Foos built a secret passageway in his motel – not to smuggle drugs or store weapons, but so he could spy on his motel guests having sex. And it gets even creepier than that. (Peeping Tom Motel) *** A family loses two children by apparent poisoning… and then the mother's death two months later under the same mysterious circumstances. Obviously there was a murderer living amongst the family, or somewhere in the town. Wasn't there? (The Mystery of the Garrett Family's Tragic Deaths)==========SUDDEN DEATH OVERTIME: In 1938, stories of a "killer ghost" began to be told in eastern Kentucky. Even though no one ever saw this malevolent apparition, it was said to have caused five very similar and unexplained deaths. Bigfoot Attack Then Five Months in a ComaJonathan awoke from a 19-month coma with fragmented memories, aware only of his identity, family, and a vague sense of a catastrophic event. Trapped in darkness, unable to move or see, he struggled to piece together his past, haunted by fleeting sensations of fear and being thrown through the air. As he regained consciousness, he heard voices, including his wife Madison's, and slowly began to recognize his surroundings and family, who had aged significantly. Learning he had been comatose for over five years due to brain trauma, Jonathan grappled with the loss of time, his job, and their homes, as well as the amputation of his leg, while his family filled him in on their new life in North Carolina. As Jonathan's recovery progressed through therapy, he pieced together more of his life as a former CFO and Harvard graduate, but the cause of his injuries remained elusive until a visit from his brother-in-law, Jeremy, triggered memories of a hiking trip on the Appalachian Trail. Alone after Jeremy left due to a family emergency, Jonathan was stalked and attacked by an unknown entity that tore apart his tent and threw him against a tree, causing his injuries. A Bigfoot documentary later triggered a full recollection of the terrifying encounter with a non-human creature. Now, in the safety of his new home, Jonathan is haunted by the clear memory of that night, realizing his long recovery is only the beginning of coping with the trauma.Join my Supporters Club for $4.99 per month for exclusive stories:https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/what-if-it-s-true-podcast--5445587/support

Tonight's guest, Gene Brock, is a Sasquatch investigator who has a college degree in Anthropology and Archaeology. Gene chose to major in Anthropology and minor in Archaeology because of an experience he had, when he was a kid, involving two Sasquatch. You see, Gene was deer hunting, at the time, with his dad when the encounter happened. Some people would have been frightened out of the woods, for good, after experiencing what happened to Gene that day, but Gene still goes into the woods. A lot of the time, when he's in the woods, he's seeking out encounters with Sasquatch. Gene has a lot of interesting things to share. Tonight's guest, Michael Bastin, lives about 25 miles from where he saw a group of Sasquatch when he was a kid. That's a day he'll never forget, for a lot of reasons. One of the biggest reasons why he'll never forget what happened that day, at a place called Fort Ancient, in Southern Ohio, is due to the fact that one of the Sasquatch he saw was at least 15 feet tall! Not long after seeing the group of Sasquatch, Mike was running, as fast as he could, trying to get the heck out of the area with one of the Sasquatch hot on his heels. What happened that day? Why did Mike run, the way he did? We hope you'll tune in and find out.If you've had a Sasquatch sighting and would like to be a guest on the show, please go to BigfootEyewitness.com and let me know. In the 266th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave are prepping for a weekend trip with the Upon a Star Team to Cancun... but before that, there is magic to be discussed. First, Jenn is getting ready for a day in Epcot with #KylaKylaKyla, Quasi Producer Heather (aka The Moana Mom) and several other Upon a STARS, while Dave is proud to announce the totals from the recent WDW Park Run Challenge The Candlelight Processional line up has been announced, and they run through that... the Halloween Party is completely sold out... and the incredible Disney Cruise Line promotion that ends on Sept 25th (today, as we publish and release!) Finally, the go along with our ideas for Epcot - when we were Epcot CEOs (episode 262) - we now tackle Animal Kingdom... if we were in charge of the park, knowing we cannot go crazy with new lands or big new rides, what would we do? Our ideas include what to do with Rafiki's Planet Watch... looking at Finding Nemo: the Musical... updating Pandora... fixing Kali River Rapids... more characters... and of course, addressing the issue with The Yeti. And... hippos. We need more hippos. And then we do dream a little bigger - what if we could do one big project?
Bigfoot Caves Are A Bad Place to Set Up CampIn the mid-1990s, a Utah State University student, an outdoor enthusiast, discovered a hidden cave in Cache Valley's mountains while hiking. Skeptical of Sasquatch stories despite extensive wilderness experience, he found an artificially excavated chamber behind a boulder, containing signs of past use. After a rattlesnake encounter and a hailstorm, he returned to find the cave sealed by another boulder. Feeling watched, he spotted large footprints and encountered a tall, hairy, humanoid figure who silently gestured for him to leave. Unlike typical Bigfoot descriptions, this intelligent being lacked glowing eyes or a foul smell. The experience made him a believer, though he's unsure if he'll return to the cave.Join my Supporters Club for $4.99 per month for exclusive stories:https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/what-if-it-s-true-podcast--5445587/support

Tonight's guest, Kelly Butterfly, started experiences with Sasquatch when she was in her childhood. She just didn't realize that they were responsible for some of the experiences she had, back then. It wasn't until 18 years ago, in the Ozarks, that she had her first Sasquatch experience where she realized she was interacting with one. Her journey with them didn't really take of until 2012, however. We hope you'll tune in and listen to her talk about her experiences with them, especially George, who is Kelly's Sasquatch guide. If you'd like to contact Kelly, one way to do that would be via Facebook…https://www.facebook.com/KellyRainbowButterfly/Another way to contact Kelly or learn about her would be via one of her two websites…https://sasquatchmessage.comhttps://www.sasquatchfamilyreunion.com/#/If you'd like to purchase your own copy of the Sasquatch Message to Humanity books Kelly mentioned on tonight's show, please visit…https://www.amazon.com/Sasquatch-Message-Humanity-Conversations-Kamooh-ebook/dp/B086Z5X2R6 (Book 1)https://www.amazon.com/Sasquatch-Message-Humanity-Book-Interdimensional-ebook/dp/B088B6D8C3?ref_=saga_dp_bnx_dsk_dp (Book 2)https://www.amazon.com/Sasquatch-Message-Humanity-Book-Ambassadors-ebook/dp/B087C7PJR6/ref=pd_lpo_d_sccl_2/140-1510958-8706123?pd_rd_w=DQWs3&content-id=amzn1.sym.4c8c52db-06f8-4e42-8e56-912796f2ea6c&pf_rd_p=4c8c52db-06f8-4e42-8e56-912796f2ea6c&pf_rd_r=XTMQCPPZNYCG1NWRDVVG&pd_rd_wg=amdN5&pd_rd_r=79e8b692-1d1c-4471-9a6a-7bd5ec5c79b0&pd_rd_i=B087C7PJR6&psc=1 (Book 3)If you've had a Bigfoot sighting and would like to be a guest, on the show, please go to https://MyBigfootSighting.com and let us know. Tonight's guest, Tristan Yolton, is a Sasquatch investigator who is based in Washington State. That's where he was born and raised. Tristan has been investigating the Sasquatch phenomenon for 10 years now, but he doesn't think he's had a confirmation sighting, as he puts it. I'd beg to differ. You see, Tristan has had two experiences where he's seen subjects, in the woods, that he couldn't conclusively identify. When he had his first experience, he saw a tall, dark figure that he could hear thumping the ground, as it took steps. The second time he had an experience, he saw a creature under circumstances that, in my opinion, prove it couldn't have been anything but a large, long-haired Sasquatch. We hope you'll listen to Tristan share the details of both experiences, so you can make up your own mind about whether he's seen a Sasquatch or not. I'm convinced he has. Will you be?If you'd like to listen to the recordings Tristan mentioned on tonight's show, here's a link to a show where Tristan played them…https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMxbOvk_2BY&t=1509sIf you've had a Sasquatch sighting and would like to be a guest on the show, please go to BigfootEyewitness.com and let me know.
