Listen to Tyler and Justin discuss and disect everything and anything that they can think of. We are certainly not experts, and very rarely give any solutions, but we love the discussion. Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
In this Stone Cold Sober Episode we discuss some silliness and some seriousness. We ponder what if certain events from history went a different direction? We are looking at getting some merchandise available, so if you'd like to help us move that direction, please show us any support you can, whether it's a quarter and episode or a quick message with suggestions to improve or something for us to discuss. Thanks for listening, we want all of our listeners to know that we appreciated them sincerely, including Ty's mom. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
In this Stone Cold Sober episode Ty and Justin discuss the Civil War that almost erupted in Washington D.C., how we got here, who is to blame, and what we can do to prevent it from happening again going forward. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
In this Booze-Fueled Banter Episode, Justin, Ty, and the Rocket Scientist Jesse discuss what is going on in this country right now, who is gearing up for a fight, and who do they think they will be fighting against and for what. Amid the political unrest that is going on, it's easy to get caught up in the excitement of a historic event and not take a moment to consider what this fight is all about and who you'd be shooting at. But we don't only pick the low-hanging fruit on this tree, we also delve into the depths of the philosophy behind politics and seek out some specific solutions to what is going on. At the end of the day, all that is really happening is a few butt-hurt people are violently upset that they didn't win this election. That's still no excuse to try and overthrow democracy and deny giving help to the needy. Stop being racist! Stop begrudging a little socialistic welfare to the poor, and let's try to become the kind of country that we can be proud of, because we are ALL still citizens of the same country with equal rights. And if you hate socialism, you'd better not cash your stimulus checks. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
In this (believe it or not) Stone-Cold-Sober episode Justin and Ty discuss the 2nd Impeachment of Donald Trump and what that means for the country. They also discuss how to prevent a Civil War, and restructure the government (like the constitution encourages us to do as needed) to prevent a dictatorship ever forming to overthrow this country. Sorry to all you patriots who stormed the capitol, but you were storming OUR building, it belongs to ALL of us, as does this country. Justin and Ty have a couple of ideas for how to make it more fair and equal, and in short, a more perfect union. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
This Booze-Fueled Banter episode features Justin, Ty, and Jesse the Rocket Scientist discussing the history of the Whig Party in the mid-1800's, it's re-appearance in the early 2000's, and the reinvention of the Wig Party we'd like to see which is mostly about the one thing that can bring this country back together: Powdered Wigs and Merkins! If you can think of who would be the best future candidate to unite the country and counter the polarization of our political system, please let us know! Justin is dying to find them, slap a merkin on them and make them the first presidential candidate for the Wig Party! Don't know what a merkin is? You will by the end of this episode that ran on way too long. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
In this Booze-Fueled Banter Justin, Ty, and the Rocket Scientist Jesse discuss a few of the current happenings in the world, then delve into Traditions. They discuss what they are, where they come from, why they are here, much like a parent explaining to a child about their unwanted great uncle. Jesse joins Ty in the brotherhood of the minivan, a brotherhood steeped in traditions that we will just make up and attach significance to, because that's what most traditions are. But not all traditions are bad, some are worth creating. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
In this Stone-Cold-Sober episode Justin and Ty discuss the latest progress with the Covid situation, and go through the first amendment and specifically address who the rights belong to, and what is and is not protected under the first amendment. You can say whatever you want to the government, but some things come with consequences, but you can't say whatever you want wherever you want. The government doesn't include private property or privately owned businesses. And don't worry, Biden the Catholic isn't going to shut down your churches or even make you go to church. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
Join Justin, Ty, and Jesse again for another Booze-Fueled Banter episode about professional wrestling that gets derailed midway into a discussion about serial killers. Enjoy the ride! We sure did! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
In this Stone-Cold-Sober episode, Justin and Ty get thoughtful about who the rest of the heroes of the essential workforce are (besides truck drivers) that have kept us going through the Covid Crisis. They discuss the space race, advances in technology and medicine, and what lessons have been kept from days of yore. Finally they finish it out with a little more tribute to Professional Wrestlers that were discussed in our last episode. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
Okay, so up front you should know that this Booze-Fueled-Banter episode is all over the place. Best wishes to Jesse's lovely wife who contracted Covid recently, and Jesse better get his shit together or he'll be getting more hate mail and on-air castigations in time to come. But what can he expect when he's being an asshole? We intended to focus on serial killers, but too much has been going on for us to keep focused. You'll learn the fundamental differences between serial killers, mass murderers, contract killers, and spree killers, along with some of the warning signs that have been common between several serial killers. So if your kid is torturing and killing dogs, maybe give that kid a little more positive attention and a little less abuse. Ty accidentally killed a horse, his truck, and almost himself this morning on his way home from a dairy he tests at. And we finish the episode with discussing the plausibility of time travel and how it is connected to Einstein's theory of relativity. We really are all over the place, but what do you expect when we're burning through the fuel of booze?! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
In this Stone Cold Sober Episode, it might not actually feel all that sober as Justin and Ty discuss drugs and alcohol. The meat of this episode is discussing minimum wage. You'll be surprised to learn the origins of minimum wages, and how wages have been determined over the years. Are there downsides to having a set minimum wage? We dig into it as we discover that the resurrection of the middle class may be directly tied to raising the minimum wage. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
This episode played out like Mr. Toad's Wild Ride if Mr. Toad was driving an Electric Car. Justin, Ty, and Jesse the Rocket Scientist soak up some suds while discussing their favorite movies and television shows, and then discuss the history and future of cars, what will happen to internal combustion technology if electric vehicles take over, and Jesse gives us a good lesson in Nuclear Power. Enjoy this Booze-Fueled Banter. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
In this Stone-Cold-Sober episode Ty and Justin discuss the S-word. We like society, we like socializing, we like using social media, but there is a great fear of socialism in this country until we want socialism... just call it anything else! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
Our Second Episode Justin and Ty discuss the theory that Covid is over, which should be great news to all the people still dying daily. Ty decides to form his own religion based on the fact that nobody actually knows what lies beyond the boundaries of the universe, and since it's so big, no one will ever disprove him until he's already gotten your money and your women, just like every other man who started a religion. And speaking of religion, Ty expresses a little of his dissatisfaction with the religious mission he served. Finally they discuss the monarchy and how a little madness could make royalty a bit more entertaining. Please submit any topics for discussion to us. We are interested in anything our listeners have to say, even Ty's mom. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
It's been a while since we had a good recording due to technology issues, but our Armchair Globetrotters are back, and this time we have a mystery topic from Ty. After discussing Murder Among the Mormons, the shortcomings of our local postal workers, and finally debate the possibility of offering reparations and the way that's worked out for the Native Americans on reservations, THEN we finally get to discuss Ty's mystery topic: Doomsday Preppers. After seeing how the pandemic affected society last year, we can agree it's a good idea to keep some surplus supply of food and supplies on hand, but after playing out the doomsday scenario according to how the preppers and religious people see it going down, does it really make sense to hoard years' worth of supplies when you really need clean water and electricity to do anything? Justin and Jesse try to convert Ty to the fastest growing belief system in the country, and there is a spoiler alert about the Book of Eli in this episode. We are working out our technological problems to give you more quality content in the future. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
In this Booze-Fueled Banter Episode the gang try out a new idea inspired by the podcast Smartless where 3 hosts interview a mystery guest. Only problem is Justin, Ty, and Jesse don't know anyone to be interviewed, so they had Jesse pick a mystery topic that Justin and Ty don't know about until they discuss it, and the topic is the Flat Earth conspiracy theory. The rocket scientist walks us through some of the various belief systems that support a flat earth theory, and discusses why they are all horse shit according to the laws of physics. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
In this Stone-Cold Sober episode, Justin and Ty discuss the instability of the American people, and the shortest, most misquoted, most misunderstood amendment in our series about the Amendable Constitution. We find out that the freedom to have weapons for the purpose of defending one's life is not unique to America, nor did it originate here. And according to its original intent, it isn't a free-for-all guarantee to possess whatever and however many weapons we want. And tragically, people who think they are exercising their rights often find out that they are really just bringing irresponsible tragedy upon themselves. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
Is Memorial Day a useful holiday? Are any holidays really useful? If Memorial Day is anything about memories, Ty's memory fails the test. Maybe it's because he was drunk, or maybe he's just purely ignorant of the classic music groups. But we hope you enjoy this drunken shit show of booze-fueled banter! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support
Ty, Justin, and Jesse are all back at it. Ty is the referee, Justin loves the GTO, and Jesse loves the Mustang. But is Ty the referee or did he just get shamed into embarrassment because he voiced his opinion that he likes the boxy GM trucks of the 70's and 80's. One thing they can all agree on is that each of these Armchair Globetrotters owned and drove one of these trucks at one time in their lives. After that, the war rages on between Justin and Jesse about the GTO and the Mustang. Jesse had to leave before the ending, so Justin and Ty further discuss the ending of the Covid Pandemic, and what life will look like going forward. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/armchairglobetrotters/support

This episode Ty brings the topic of Caves to Armchair Globetrotters. Jesse, our resident rocket scientist is back, and exploring caves happens to be one of his pastimes.
